I would have liked to use the Pool, but when I saw that it was somehow in the middle of the living room and not heated, my enthusiasm faded away. But it still looks good, though. It just doesn’t really serve its purpose. Seaview is a big word here as well. It is there but… far away. Nevertheless, it was a big pleasure to enjoy this comfortable and beautiful house you have created!

Very cleaned and stylish boutique hotels. the room was small but everything was equipped and very well maintained. Breakfast was amazing with vegan, gluten free meals. if you decide to go to Azenhas do mar , stay here. You just need to walk 5-10 mins to go there anytime. Village is very safe to walk any time during Winter. From the city center of Sintra to hotel, it took 9-10 euro by Uber. But you can take bus as well (every 40 mins).

The shower room has transparent door. it was a bit awkward for us as roommates can see each other’s body during shower.

Photos don’t do the hotel justice, it exceeded all our expectations. Simple clean design and pure relaxation. I read some negative reviews about the bathroom being in the room, as a married couple this didn’t bother us at all, so don’t let that put you off! Breakfast was delicious, and loved being able to have a drink and relax in the lounge area or garden. Staff were very friendly and very helpful whenever we asked for restaurant recommendations

Location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding close by at Quinta do Pe da Serra, and it was about 15mins into Sintra. However a car is a must as there isn’t much to do in the immediate local area

The tables at breakfast are a little uncomfortable, either table is too low or too far away from the chairs. Hotel rooms are beautiful but the door of the toilet is extremely noisy and doesn't completely close therefore your friend or partner can hear everything The internet did not work for us, it did not work in the rooms and did not work in the living space area

The stay in this hotel exceeded my expectations! On arrival we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. The hospitality that we were shown made our stay extra special. The room had a gorgeous view on the ocean. Choosing a balcony is an opportunity not to be missed, in my opinion! The hotel had a communal area with a fireplace and a swimming pool. It was very cozy. Additionally, there were many small touches that added to the stay, such as scents in corridors, freshly made coffee and juice in the morning, honesty box with wine and crisps etc. Any questions we had the staff member helpfully answered. I highly recommend this hotel. And I certainly would love to come back there!

The interior design of the small hotel is spot on. Very calming setting, very close to walk to the beach and very quiet at night. Very nice breakfast and we’ll tend to garden.

Sound isolation could be better. We stayed in the room by the front door, so we could hear people come and go and go up and down the stairs. Also even if one is traveling with a close person and I’m okay to shower in front of them, (open bathroom) would be good if the toilet door would fully close. This was a bit uncomfortable.

Amazing breakfast, LOTS of vegan options. The bed was a literal cloud. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The whole place felt very tranquil, natural, calming and expensive. The staff were super friendly and helpful, too. Location couldn't be better.

The bathroom door in the room doesn't lock, and it was very loud to close. The walls are quite thin, and you can really hear everything the other guests are saying/doing, especially if everyone is out on their balcony, or all the windows are open.

We had a wonderful stay at Azenhas do Mar Valley House! The staff was amazing: Pedro, Filipa, Joana, and Catarina - thank you! Cozy beds, wonderful shower, thoughtful designs, breakfast was yummy. The view from our balcony was incredible, and waking up to the sound of birdsong is one of my favorite things. We loved the downstairs common area in the evening where you could have a beer or tea and sit next to the fire (as well as order some noms like a cheese board). Would definitely come back!
