Everything worked out well at the hotel. Breakfast was exactly what we wanted and the hotel location was great.

It is a small thing but it was strange that the air conditioning for the room was controlled at the front desk! I don’t understand why this was the case as it meant we couldn’t switch it off ourselves in the morning when it was quite cool.

As everywhere in Portugal, and even more than normal - amazing and very helpful staff. easy check-in/check out option. Hugo at the reception spent some time with us, advising how to plan our day trip from Evora - and thanks to his suggestions, we spent an absolutely amazing day. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The hotel has its own parking, which makes the tourist life always easier. The pool was nice, to spend some time on a hot afternoon, even though it is not big enough for the guests wishing to stay in the pool area.

Another very strange way to design the bathroom. With the door opening inside, the only way to get to washroom facilities is super convoluted - you pretty much need to step in the shower cabin to be able to close the door, and then "continue with your normal activities". And forget about having two people in the washroom at the same time. Not only it's uncomfortable, it is just asking for accidents to happen. Installing sliding door would help a lot.

Beautiful hotel with welcoming staff and great amenities. Breakfast provided had a large selection including made-to-order eggs and pancakes. The indoor pool was heated and clean and the outdoor pool had plenty of space for relaxing. The location was perfect - near the park and great starting point to walk around town. Free parking was exceptional!

Restaurant was below our room so the sound of chairs sliding across the floor was heard while the restaurant was open. This was only problematic due to a toddler who was a light sleeper.

The hotel is very nice, with local art on display near the restaurant/lounge. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The heavy curtains were great for keeping light out in the early morning. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, especially the fruit and baking! The breakfast staff were very efficient and friendly! The swimming pool and lounge chairs offered a wonderful chance to relax and escape the heat for a bit each day! The water is cold and refreshing.

The person at reception was a bit gruff when we first checked in, but the remainder of our interactions with staff were positive. I think that you can order drinks by the pool sometimes, but no one was there each time we were at the pool.

An excellent location inside Evora for exploring the city. It is close to the centre for walking but easy to drive to by car. There is plenty of easy parking underneath the hotel as well as space to stop outside before checking in. We were pleased it was so near the gardens to walk through and that we could return to the hotel for a rest or a swim to cool off during the day. The breakfasts were very good and dinner had 2 vegetarian options. Every day we had a large bottle of water left in our room which was greatly appreciated as it was very hot outside although the air-conditioning was good inside. All the staff seemed very helpful and friendly. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Everything was so well thought out I cannot think of anything we didn't like.

1. I would have liked if your spa or reception would sell the soaps in the bathroom. It would be a revenue generator for your hotel too! 2.I would have preferred that…WHEN your Front Desk asked “would you like breakfast included?” And I answered “yes please”….that the invoice reflected that breakfast for 3 people. Instead I was told the next day at check out that I had to pay for the breakfast…when I had already told them the day I checked in and prepaid for my stay…that I wanted to include it. Strange.

The hotel was very modern, clean and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was situated close to all the sites we wanted to see in Evora, and we were able to easily walk everywhere. The hotel has a free underground parking garage that was very secure. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food was excellent. They offered us a free glass of sparkling wine and free charcuterie board with olives, bread, a pate and olive oil. The entrees were delicious - very tender lamb and sea bass. The food was very reasonably priced. The breakfast selections were also wonderful. The staff made us feel welcome and were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!

Everything was fantastic. There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel.

Location is easy to access; secure on location parking with direct lift access to the lobby; the Evora Olive is an upscale property that was repurposed from an old shopping mall, with every onsite amenity you need for comfort and relaxation close to the historic center; it’s restaurant provides a great breakfast and dinner (we didn’t imbibe in their lunch). The evening restaurant staff of Pedro and Luis were very attentive who made perfect meal selections. Our room 102 was large, comfortable and with a superb shower.

Not very happy that we paid a very high price for the room just a few days before going and it was non-refundable. This usually means locking in the price. Then I saw a few days later the price dropped significantly. I rang to discuss this but was told this was normal. Also we asked of a quiet room and were given one facing all the air-conditioning units and below was a courtyard where people sat talking all night and in the morning. Also right over reception so noisy out both sides.

The rooms were comfortable. The air conditioning was welcome. The parking was easy. The pool was refreshing but a bit crowded for the size of the pool.

We ate in the restaurant as it had good reviews. It was not a particularly good meal. We could have walked into town and had an amazing experience of a foodie culture with so many outdoor and highly rated restaurants. We just didn't know and were sad we ate at the hotel as it was not good food really.
