Nice decor in common areas, comfortable lobby. The hotel has only 16 rooms, all rooms have a balcony, which was nice. Breakfast is average, but overall sufficient. Convenient location, close to the beach. Luggage can be easily taken up by elevator. The decoration and design of the hotel is very nice. Everything is within walking distance: the beach, shops, restaurants, and the fish market (it stinks a little).

There is no shelf for shower accessories in the shower, and the soap dispensers are located very high and inconveniently, it is very difficult to press. The cabin itself is very small, so the morning procedures turned into a quest with efforts. The beds are located right in the passage, so I got several bruises on my legs. Communication in messages with the reception is so-so, they sometimes answer, sometimes do not answer. And it seems that they do not transmit information to each other either.

Lovely little stripey hotel in a stripey village Costa Nova. Nice view from our balcony to see all the neighbours stripey houses. Room was nice, quite little, but we managed. I liked that there was fridge in the room, as I like to drink cold water first in the morning. Stuff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, cheeses, ham, pastries, yoghurts and I liked that there was selection on fruits, as pineapple, kiwis, melon and orange.

The bed was a little uncomfortable as the mattress was too hard and bed had wooden sharp corners where we hurt our knees couple of times.

The hotel was in a nice location between the ocean and the lagoon and was in easy walking distance to both. The hotel has been lovely restored and in settling with the stripped houses. We paid extra for the underground parking. Which was perfect for our motorbike. There is plenty of local resturants and shops close by. Only a 25 min ride into Aveiro and the colourful boats

There was a problem with the flush on the toilet. After i reported it and it didn't get fixed, I did a make shift mend on it with a hair bobble. The breakfast was only 7€ but not the best. When we went in, there were no eggs or bacon left. They did get filled up with a small amount when a group of people went in but soon went again without getting filled back up. I wasn't expecting a large room, but being in the centre of the building, the room was quiet, small and dark, and felt a bit closed in.

If you choose a place to stay overnight in Costa Nova, then this hotel is the best option (and almost the only). We always stop there when we visit Costa Nova/Aveiro. Close to colorful striped houses (it's better to visit before lunch, while the sun illuminates them) and also close to the ocean with excellent beaches. Quite large balconies, comfortly to spend some time there. Breakfast may not be the most varied, but it is always tasty and of high quality. There is also the opportunity in the evening to watch TV in the lounge, drink tea or coffee, or order wine at the bar.

At the end of September there is a celebration dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Saúde (a few days). During this period, it is better to stock up on earplugs or go celebrate with the locals and listen to music until 2-3 am. By the way, the musicians are very cool every time :-D Well, the rooms are small, but not the smallest.

Great for a short stay. Location is good, close to the typical colorful houses and the beach, by foot. I would definitely stay again if I was nearby.

The shower door would not close all the way, but everything apart from that in the room was okay. The breakfast could use a better coffee included like capuccino or espresso (there was only filter coffee)

Wonderful location, quiet street between Atlantic & lagoon, near a superb café & great restaurants & helpful friendly staff. Rooms kept beautifully clean.

Rooms are small & there’s no kettle to make your own hot drinks. Breakfast was limited choice but nice fruit, muffins & scrambled egg on toast.

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay in the heart of Costa Nova. Rooms are not very big, but comfortable, they have air conditioning and a large balcony. Breakfast is served in the hotel lobby, there is a small bar. In the evening, if you are cold, you can make tea yourself. Breakfast is good, although a little more modest than before.

In Costa Nova, at the end of September (last week of September I guess), a city festival is held in honor of Nossa Senhora da Saúde. These days, concerts and children's entertainment programs are held on the square by the river. Everything is fine, but sometimes it makes it very difficult to sleep even with the windows closed. Get ready to stock up on earplugs! ;-)

Lovely helpful staff - all of them. Very comfortable room and bed, delicious breakfast and the location in Costa Nova is ideal for both the beach and river. We stayed two nights and would love to stay longer. One of our favourites during three months of travel in Europe. The Mercado (mainly fish) down the road is a delight and Forno and Grehla owned by Isabel is a small authentic Portuguese restaurant serving food made with love.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is easily accessible, it has its own parking lot (for a fee)

Unfortunately, the soundproofing of the windows is zero, there was a concert nearby in the evening, and they played terrible and horribly loud music for us. It was as if we were in front of the stage. Unfortunately, there were even fireworks at midnight, it was terrible. The wardrobe is very musty.

My second stay here, and all as welcoming as before. Friendly, helpful staff; lovely room with west-facing balcony; perfect location one block back from the lagoon, and only a few short blocks from the sea-facing boardwalk. Breakfast was superb: eggs, presunto and different kinds of bread with homemade jams. Can't imagine staying anywhere else along that coast.

Nothing worth mentioning.
