It was for the first time in my life that I planned a one-night stay, but loved a place so much that decided to stay a night more. That says it all! However, it might be useful to enter into details, so here you go: 1) Location: 10/10, the historical centre, the canal and the salt flats easily accessible on foot in some 5-10 minutes. 20 min walk from the Aveiro bus station, 10 min to the nearest Pingo Doce supermarket (in case one chooses to ignore the numerous cafés, bars and restaurants nearby). 2) Personnel: 10/10, the lady at the reception being most kind, polite and amiable. She gave me a free city map and useful advice as to where to go and what to see. The cleaning lady was also very polite and nice. Special thanks for excellent attention to client: at check-in, I asked for a very quiet room, as I badly needed rest and a good night's sleep, and the reception lady heeded my request most graciously and gave me a room at the end of the corridor, where indeed the possible noise from the neighbours did not bother me at all. Muitíssimo obrigada! ♥ 3) Room: as I said, I loved it so much that it decided me to prolong my stay. It's spacious and clean, with a big comfortable bed and blue azulejos at the windows, with the white wooden shutters that guard you against the morning light. There is an electric heater against the winter chill. Much appreciated. The bathroom is also big and clean, with liquid soap and a hairdryer. Hot water in the shower, good pressure. 4) Not only the room, but the common areas are beautiful, in the retro style. The rooms have "names", and it adds charm and individuality to the guesthouse, as well as a blue vase with flowers and vintage furniture in the corridor, a winding staircase and a cosy kitchen area (photos attached). 5) Yes, there's a kitchen where you can cook and make tea. Very convenient! 6) The Internet is perfect for audiocalls (didn't try videocalls :) 7) Very happy memories!

We were here in early June 2023. Great location for visiting Aveiro. Good accommodation at a reasonable cost, staff friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy. a bit cramped as had both the double bed but also bunk beds other rooms could well be different. Would be great for family with kids. Using the bunk bed as a place to unpack bags did lead to banging heads a few times. The shared kitchen was well equipped with lots of space both inside and outside for eating or just relaxing. WiFi worked both in room and in conmen areas. Good comfortable stay for visiting town and would recommend. Parking is on the street, a bit difficult to find empty space. We were here on a Friday and Saturday night luckily, as the on street parking doesn't charge for weekends. During the week would need to be up to put payment into meter if using a car. Can get around town easily without a car (we left ours parked).

Our room, only one available at the time, had bunk beds as well as the large double bed and made it cramped to move around. Parking is on street, fine at weekend but could be an annoyance during the week if you wanted to leave the car due to parking charges. Need to feed the meter.

very friendly staff, nice location, upgraded bathroom and all necesities prssent. the receptionist even let us choose between two rooms as ahe had some more availability. I would recommend our room for a short stay

the room has a window, but it's to the internal staircase. (and a small velux but quite high up). If you plan to be mostyloutside, that's fine (so for short stays), it might be less confortable to spend time inside during the day

The receptionist was super nice and accomodating, since I came with a heavy luggage, she offered me the GF room instead of the second floor. I really appreciate that! she also had suggestions on what to do and what was going on that day in Aveiro. the location is in the center, walking distance to everything, the bed was super comfy, the room clean, and the garden very calm, just the rest me and my dog needed after a long trip!

The room and bathroom were not really spacious, but quite enough. Also you can use common kitchen. Location of the hotel is just perfect, near the historical center, so you can explore the town by foot. The staff was very welcoming and helping, many thanks to them! And the most important one: I honestly had the best bed EVER in this hotel, so comfy! I'd like to come back just to sink in this again :D

The only window we had in the room was for the stairs inside the hotel, so it was noizy when the other guests are passing by (and it's impossible not to keep it open, I mean you need to breath). For that reason also could be stuffy inside the room.

The location was great. The facilities (room and shared kitchen) were perfect. In general, a very positive experience.

We got there around 10pm and there was no one in the house to.let us in. There was a sign to call the host but as tourists we only had internet and no calls. So it took some time to figure out a solution. Just make sure you tell them in advance if you don't have calls.

Large room with comfortable beds. Staff is really friendly and great. We didn't ordered breakfast but our kid anyways got them. Overall great atmosphere and great place to stay.

Sound proof from outside is really great. You shut windows and there is barely sounds from outside. But inside sound proof is very minimal. If someone having a shower you will hear it. If someone sneezes it feels like someone nearby sneezed. We was lucky that we didn't had any loud neighbors, so it was quite and with comfortable beds we slept very good.

Good location… in the center, 15min by foot from the central station Comfortable room… the room didn’t get cold thanks to a heater Clean bathroom… spacious shower room

Check-in… As there was no information given in advance, we were confused when we arrived at the hotel Check-out… there weren’t any staff at the front desk at our check out so we couldn’t ask anything that we wanted to know.

We were greeted kindly, and we because most of the staff did not speak much English, it felt very homey and not like a hotel which is what we were looking for. They gave us choice of the 2 available rooms, and we stayed in the garden room, which was perfect for us. The accommodation is very central and about a 5 minute walk to the canal and shops. When we left, our host was so kind as to allow us to leave our pack packs behind reception until we needed to leave town. Breakfast was continental yet elaborate with different kinds of foods for everyone! The garden was also a nice touch.

It was a bit humid due to no fan in the bathroom but we never felt sticky or uncomfortable and there was a large fan which helped!

Somehow I was placed to the Green House next door, which also run by the same team. Room is spacious and there is a full-functioning kitchen for use. A washing machine is there too in case you need laundry. Cleanliness is spotless. Staff is always helpful and pleasant.

Wifi not working well in the kitchen area. Very minor.
