Very welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast choices were many - good selection of options. The central courtyard was a peaceful place to sit and relax. Would definitely book again when coming back to Lisbon
There was one occasion in a late afternoon/early evening when access to the reception area with honesty bar was locked for quice some time and so I went to the nearby (400m away) local sister hotel to get a drink from their rooftop bar. Otherwise, absolutely no other suggestions. Checking in and out was very easy and straightforward.

Location is central to a lot of attractions with plenty of restaurants nearby. The courtyard in the center of the rooms was peaceful and a great place to sit outside to get some work done or socialize. Staff was very friendly on a personal level and also accommodating.
The hotel is in a historic area so use caution for taking Bolt or Uber since they might not be licensed to enter the historic roads to drop off or pick up just outside of the property, which forces one to use a taxi. Out line of the rooms is very unique, not necessarily in a bad way, but I could imagine that no two rooms are the same here.

absolutely wonderful several day stay at Casa do Patio. very much in the cobble stone part of the old city. in beautiful shape, many rooms around and looking in to the courtyard, where we took our breakfasts and had afternoon coffee. the breakfasts are really something special. we had a self-contained apartment overlooking the courtyard and the city. I think the second floor rooms overlooking the patio courtyard would also be lovely. wondering if the ground floor rooms might be a little compromise on privacy, not sure, but in booking you can ask, as the staff are very helpful and caring. three cheers for all the staff, they too are something special.

Casa do Patio is a very nice place to stay, excellent location, very close to the center. The room was clean and equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was tasty and varied and the yard of the location allows you to enjoy your food and drinks outdoors. It was very pleasant to talk with other guests from different countries chilling in that yard. The staff were very polite and friendly. Special thanks to Gonsalo Dias, he gave very good advice about visiting different places in the city and it also was very cool to talk with him about different aspects of the life in Portugal, taste some Ginja and remember some great football players)

Exceeded my (actually quite demanding) expectations. Location: quite, absolutely non-touristic block where locals live, walk, sip their drinks. Authentic buildings, life, sounds. NB: the property asks the guests to keep silence after 9PM in respect to local inhabitants. A mini-market and a tiny bar/snacks shop are on the street 5 meters away from the patio, and the bar serves quite good (and cheap!) ginjinha. Most tourist attractions accessible by foot in 5 - 10 mins including one of the nice viewpoints. Hint: Be ready for hills up and down! Patio: lovely, cozy, hidden in the inner yard of a living building, bright and shiny at sun, with nice sitting/relaxing area to spend leisure time outside. Accessible directly from all rooms (I believe except the apartment). The breakfast area also has an access to the patio, so meals can be enjoyed both inside and outside. During the day, a simple coffee machine, tea and water are available for free, also some snacks remaining from breakfast (if you're a lucky one to catch some)) Rooms: cozy, nicely and tastefully decorated. NB: some rooms located on the upper floor (fantastic view!) and have spiral stairs behind the entrance. Seems that the hosts care much about guests' comfort: while our room was the one with stairs (and we are able to handle those), the elderly couple was hosted in the room on the ground floor. Still water and espresso machine in the room. Loved that they have a cork-screw in the room ). Breakfast. Exceeds all expectations. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Huge variety of local cakes and sweets. Good choice of cheese and smoked meat. A bit of hot meals: scrambled eggs and some stewed vegetables; also fruits, fresh veggies, yogurt and flakes. The cook can prepare eggs as per guest's preferences, too. Staff: very intelligent, very friendly and very supportive. I've seen four hosts during 2 days and they all were different yet equally nice. Highly recommend and definitely coming back
I'd say that cleaning service quality was the only thing that was sort of okay and fully acceptable but not as perfect as everything else was. The staff of course does the bed, floors and bathroom, also towels (if thrown to the floor) are changed. More attention could be paid to small items of furniture where guests can occasionally make a small accidental mess (like I did with the night table by spilling some liquid). The place at the arrival is definitely very clean, though.

I loved this place! Stunning stuff who went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. I still can't believe that I got promotion for a room twice the size, which I was let to enter 3 hours before the check-in time absolutely free of charge! Perfect breakfast with some traditional dishes to try. Nice quiet place to relax in the old city center, but be prepared to go to the hill.

Staff was very friendly. Comfortable beds. Rich breakfast and delicious.
The room was too small for 4 people. Location is great, but not for families with small kids and stroller because it's in the old part of the city, Uber aren't allowed to enter that area so you have to walk uphills on roads with cubic stone about 5 min. Though the whole old part of the city has hills and valleys and roads with cubic stones. So think twice when visit the city with strollers. 😀 But it's not impossible. Per total we had a good experience with this accommodation.

Charming simplicity, staff very attentiv,e rooms clean comfortably plenty of hot water for showers. Buffet breakfast amazing great selection, choices to suit every taste. Nothing too much trouble for the attentive staff. Nearby tram route 28E was a great experience, lots of interesting places to visit . They also arranged economical punctual taxi to airport Certainly will return Great value for money
A little difficult to find as we took an airport taxi who dropped us a distance away Resolved problem by booking return journey through hotel On a return visit would book arrival transport through hotel

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent. We used the patio/court yard most evenings. The hotel is situated on a quite little street with a couple of small family run shops that you can pickup water, wine, fruit, snacks etc. The local people were very inviting and friendly. The location is a little west of the core but we found it a great spot to explore the west side and with a little hike we were able to walk all the way over to Alfama in about 20 minutes.
While the court yard was a nice place sit there we few comfortable seats. Most being flat metal which makes things less relaxing. There are a couple cats that roam around and keep to themselves. Unfortunately they paid no attention to small rat that was also roaming around one night. Finally, a few of the young boys of the neighbourhood would use the court yard as a place to play. Again, doesn't make for a relaxing place with kids being kids in what should be a private court yard.

Nice courtyard to relax in and the rooms were of a good, comfortable size. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious
The area was centrally located but the entrance was through a private residence area. No cabs reached the door of the hotel. Quite expensive for Lisbon.
