The hotel is in a perfect location. Perfect. There is no other way to describe this. The team at the hotel are incredibly attentive and helpful (making recommendations, bookings, and considered small touches to make a stay a beautiful one). The most unexpectedly enjoyable experiences was breakfast. Held around a large family-style table (there are individual tables for those who wish). You sit, enjoy a personalised breakfast of your choosing, next to other hotel guests. Conversation is quiet, but friendly. Guests are similarly interesting and cultured.

Some of the finishings were showing wear and tear. The doors to the hallways are quite old, and therefore some sound is noticeable from other guests moving in and out. The windows are large farmhouse style. But the finishings in the room are tall, meaning everything needs to be rearranged to open/close them. Recommend thinking about moving these around to make it easier for guests.

Best experience to discover Lisbon. The property is impressive, in an old Palace. The staff is focused on every single small detail to make the stay a wonderful experience. Room was very very comfortable, the tailor made breakfast every morning absolutely terrific. The hotel has one of the best rooftop of the city and the view is to die for. The location is perfectly , beautiful view of the old city and the river and so close by to all the action. I will definetely go back again in the future.

The Building itself is beautiful, impressed even before we set foot inside. The palace is tastefully restored with a light touch to preserve its charm. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. We got a room upgrade which was a nice surprise. There were delicious little pastries and chocolates with a whole bottle of prosecco sent up to the room, all complementary. The view out into the square in front and the port in the distance was brilliant. The bed was the biggest bed I have ever slept in! We came back in the evening after room service to more pastries, each evening. The breakfast was impressive! the food just keeps coming. Make sure to get a drink on the roof top bar to start or end your night!

The property is modern, has amazing Character, our room was extremely spacious and the view from the sky bar/restaurant was really nice. The breakfast was served overlooking the pool and river, and was so unique Al a Carte menu. Could not recommend enough! Our room had complimentary wine and cakes served. Our room was on street level (Arch Room) and we could sit on the balcony having room service cocktails whilst watching the buzz of the square.

I would struggle to find fault with anything.

booking.com advertise all rooms with same pictures so we didn’t get the preferred room with city & river view . However hotel managed to move us after 1 night into the room we booked . we recommend clarifying room with hotel before arrival.

Very noisy surrounding area. I explicitly requested for a quiet room while booking, which should have been provided promptly. Unfortunately, I had to complain in the middle of the night because of the noise from a nearby disco, so that the hotel could provide me with a slightly quieter room.

The personell was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect to visit the city. Excellent breakfast!

The bathroom layout of my room (7.5) was a bit inconvenient as there was no shower-glas and once you used the shower everthing would be wet, other than that it was great.

Bathroom to small and no space for cosmetic , but in room is a table for makeup. Umbrellas on the breakfast terrasse would be nice , its to hot to sit outside without.

The only thing that can be perfected is changing the brighter white toned lights in some of the lamps in the suite. But most lights are dimmable, just one or two was a bit white... But thats really a very small detail!

From the moment we arrived we were treated with great respect and friendliness. The service was very personal and the intimacy of the hotel was excellent. Our room was wonderful and the staff exceptional. Thank you we will definitely stay again.
