location is perfect, staff excellent, food outstanding

room on the small side but that wasn’t much of a problem as your not in your room much. sockets wouldn’t take our plugs but the hotel sorted that by lending us theirs. drink making facilities too small

Charming room just as described on corner of building overlooking the street with balcony and opening shutters. Reception staff were welcoming with a smile. First floof but little noise as windows double glazed and street went quiet overnight. Location was very good as a short stroll brought you to the centre of activity. Breakfast a buffet as was expected with a good choice.

Pillows brought my rating down. Owners went to some trouble to make a good hotel but fell down with the choice of pillows which were rubber chip and firm fill polyester...pillows from the 1970's. Hotel operators world wide shum these pillows because customers don't like them. They move and bounce the head and I woke grumpy and with a headache, Excellent pillows are readily available at a fair price so why put money towards bathrobes and not spend the extra on good pillows. When I complained to the reception staff showing them the welcome card from the manager I ashed that this person follow up by making contact with me. I heard nothing. What is the point of leaving a welcome card if the manager is nor prepared to respond to a complaint? Disappointing when everything else was very good.

Amazing location! It was perfect because my boyfriend and I were mostly just showering and sleeping there, so we really didn't need that much space. The shower was also amazing with great water pressure and free toiletries. Beautiful bathroom and great windows/natural light.

Small room. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom - when we opened the bedroom door it basically hit the bed, and my suitcase (which isn't even that large) could actually not even fit on the floor of the room unless it was closed. Just be prepared to not have a ton of space!

Excellent staff at reception Very satisfied with the cleaning Bed was so comfortable Good location, close to all touristic attractions

I stayed in a single room - the space was a bit small, without a table and too much storage space, but for a turist that use the room only by night it was fine. At reception I got a discount+ welcome drink for the restaurant. When I was at the restaurant even I told the waiter 2 times about the discount, I got no discount at all. The waiter told "i'll bring you a beer" but she didnt come.... I dont beg for a beer and a 10% discount but the attitude of this lady was not good. Otherwise, I was very happy with the hotel and I would stay there again.

Super cute hotel! The location is perfect! Close to the river, train station, and trams. Food in the restaurant is great and I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff are amazing! The room was great, lovely bathroom with gorgeous toiletries. I got a small room as I was traveling solo, but it was perfect for me. Bed was super comfy! Will definitely be staying here again.

It didn't bother me too much, but if you are a light sleeper, then it might impact your stay as you can hear the other guests' conversations from the room above and their footsteps. But other than that everything was great!

We booked a mini room but were luckily upgraded to one that was a little bigger, that was just the perfect size for the two of us. The air conditioning saved us during the hot days in Lisbon. With the very central location it's the perfect place to stay when exploring both sides of the city. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The windows shut out all the noisiness of Lisbon's town centre so the room was super quiet :) Would definitely stay here again!

There were a few stains in the carpet. But nothing major.

Great location in the middle of the city. Yes, the rooms were small but this is how houses are built in Lisboa so it was totally fine. It would have been nice to have more room for putting suitcases away but other than that it was all good! Elevator was there, very friendly staff at reception, restaurant was also nice, air con was working very well. We didn’t hear any street noise and no neighbors from other rooms. The room had a little balcony, just how balconies are built in Lisboa. Perfect for a little get-away to Lisboa and the location of the hotel was just great as it was not located at a main road of the center.

The doors of the bathrooms could be replaced as they were very loud when opening them. Also, the laundry service was nice to have but our t-shirts came back a little smaller and we still paid for the washing.

We have stayed at this hotel before. The front desk staff are amazing and so kind to everyone. This is our hotel of choice. The breakfast is served in a restaurant attached to the hotel and the food is great and the staff are kind and speak many languages just like the hotel reception staff. This hotel is perhaps in one of the best locations in the city as you can reach all of the main tourist sites from here.

The walls are a bit thin in the hotel so you can hear your neighbors. This is an older building, nicely furnished, but the floors are a bit creaky. We knew all of this before staying here and it did NOT stop us from coming or from recommending the hotel. The hotel is in the city so it can get noisy outside but I thought the windows do a fairly good job at blocking the majority of the noise.

Great location. Staff was very helpful and easy to work with. Nice hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The bathroom was very modern and a nice size.

For the price we paid and the reviews we saw on Booking.com we were a bit disappointed in the size of the bedroom. nWe were there six nights so a bigger room would definitely had been a plus. Also the breakfast was disappointing. We stayed in six different hotels while visiting Portugal and this had the most minimal breakfast by far. Even some of the smaller, older hotels we stayed in had breakfasts with much more variety. Because of the breakfast we almost didn't eat in the hotel restaurant for supper. I am glad we tried the hotel restaurant because our supper was very good.
