Boutique-style hotel, smaller, very welcoming and extremely good service; everyone seemed to know us by name. Breakfast was excellent! Many thanks to Giovanni for the best cappuccinos! Also omelets were delicious. Don't overlook the hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner, really superior food compared to more touristy restaurants close by. Plus as a guest you are entitled to 10% off. Ellen was able to get us a reservation at a restaurant that was technically booked (the palace nearby). Room was really beautiful with big Juliet-style balconies that opened wide. Very comfortable bed, pillows, shower. Lovely hardwood-type floors. Very clean room and hotel, gracious housekeeper. Very good location. When our flight was delayed by 12 hours, the hotel kept our luggage for us and allowed us to use all the common-area facilities, they were very happy to be able to help us.

I can't think of any negatives.

Everything was great! We had a nice room with a small balcony that looked out to the street. Nice large walk-in shower. It had a small refrigerator that they stocked with water everyday and an espresso machine with pods and cups. Breakfast was very nice. We ate dinner there and it was delicious. And we sat outside and had drinks a couple of late afternoons. Very pleasant. I would stay here again if I were to go back to Lisbon.

We didn't realize that after 11am cars are not allowed on the street where the hotel is located. So the taxi had to drop us off down the street from the hotel and then we had to walk with our luggage. But it wasn't a major problem. The bathroom is very nice but no room to put any of your toiletries. We used the coat closet to set our toiletries and then took them in the bathroom when we needed them. But again, just a minor things.

The hotel location is excellent, less than 10 minutes from the Santa Alpolomia train station by taxi. Four minutes walk to the Rossario train station to Sintra. Three minutes walk to the Restaradora Metro station. The room was a nice size with a big closet, safe and great windows. The bathroom was a little small but functional with a large shower.

Because I booked with Booking.com, while the website mentioned the breakfast, with the confirmation I was not given the free breakfast that guests receive if booking on the hotel website. For that reason, I do not recommend using booking.com but go directly to the hotel and call them with any issues on price.

The hotel is in a very central location near to the theatre and many restaurants. Our room was at the back of the hotel facing an attractive courtyard so was very quiet and cool. Beautiful, clean comfortable room. It was easy to access transport or walk to everywhere we wished to visit. The breakfast was good with pleasant staff. We ate at the hotel and enjoyed watching the lively street scene. Good wine.

The best location, in the middle of center city ans major tourists attractions. not a big room ,but comfortable, clean, and modern. Delicious breakfast ! Very friendly and attentive staff members! The building was turned into a hotel in 2018,so rooms are modern ! Also, a quiet hotel ,if that's what you are looking for .

The only thing ithat wasn't as expected- we asked for 2 beds, and there 2 beds pushed together, but they were sharing the same headboard. So, I am not sure you could separate the beds. We didn't have enough time on hands ,so we used them as one bed.Make sure to ask about those details.

Location is excellent. Room was clean and well presented, on the smaller side but we didn’t spend much time in our room as we were out enjoying the city. The staff were great; welcoming, helpful and friendly. The photographs on Booking.com really don’t do this lovely hotel justice, it is a true gem! The enclosed courtyard is a piece of tranquility, while the front of the hotel leads out to a main (mostly) pedestrian street running down to the Plaza.

During certain times of the day there is no vehicular access so you need to travel a couple of hundred yards with your luggage. Not a big issue in itself but being forewarned would have been helpful. We visited as a couple and so had no issue, however if you are a family it may be on the small side. We did only see our room though so can’t comment on the other rooms.

Well located with easy access to all Lisbon transportation and many restaurants. The breakfast was extensive including made to order eggs, bacon, etc.

It's located on a pedestrian only street filled with rows of restaurants and souvenir type shops, so it is gauntlet of hawkers for restaurants and shops to get through...but hardly irritating! Táxis etc must be met a block away.

We had a very pleasant stay. It's located in mid Lisbon and the position is central for everything: few minutes walk from every places. Staff is kind and ready to fulfill all your requests. Rooms are really spacious and comfortable: they seems suites! Excellent Breakfast served every morning

Being located in Mid Lisbon, the nearby area is really noisy and not that much appealing.

We were given ideas of places to eat and visit while there for just a day layover - We received welcome wine! - Courtyard was a nice surprise

- nothing! if we come back in the near future, we are 100% booking here again.

The hotel is in central Lisbon, but away from the crowds in a charming street with restaurants. All departure points for my tours were very close to the hotel, so I could walk for a few minutes to reach them. It takes only about 10 minutes to walk to the ocean. In the other direction, are the gardens and statues. Walking a bit more puts you into the Gucci/St.Laurent/Versace, etc. area. The hotel breakfast was quite good and the employees were very nice and helpful. My room was spacious and had a window onto the street, with a balcony. Couldn't have asked for more.

Nothing.
