July 2023

My family and I (2 adults + 1 child) stayed here when we were in Lisbon. Overall, we had a very good stay! Location of the hotel was great - it was a short walk to two metro stations and many bus stops, which makes it very convenient for us to use public transport to get around Lisbon. The location itself was also great, only one or two metro stops to most of the attractions in Lisbon, making this a great base. Lots of restaurants around the hotel area (though they did feel a little tourist trappy), but walking distance to other authentic, local restaurants. The hotel room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. The housekeeping team is amazing and went above and beyond to make our room super neat and tidy. Breakfast is great - it has all the basics (coffee, tea, pastries, pancakes, eggs, etc.) and was worth the 10 euro per person we ended up getting the hotel breakfast every morning we were there. Overall this hotel was great value for money. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here twice. The first time we booked the triple room, which on booking.com says comes with a bathtub. I booked it because I knew my daughter (4 y.o.) loves to take baths. However, when we arrived, the room only had a shower. When I asked the receptionist said not all of the triple rooms had bathtubs. The shower still worked for us, and they gave us a bigger room with a bathtub the 2nd time we stayed here, so it's not a big deal, but just something to be aware of.

Rooms were clean. Location was central. Breakfast was good.

Mainly just things that are part of European ways of life, such as very small rooms, no access to ice machines in the hotels, no kleenex in the bathrooms, no hand towels in the bathroom, no irons in the room, and hair blow dryers only work it you hold the button down, etc. Also, the construction noise going on in the area was pretty annoying especially early in the morning. The hotel is priced high because of the location. You can find an airbnb with more space that is better equipped if you don't mind being off the beaten path by a couple of streets.

Great Location! We walked day and night time feeling safe. Right at the end of Ave Liberdade. Walking distance to Praca do Comercio. Next to Praca Rossio, surrounded by restaurants, gift shops, metro and train stations, close to Praca dos Restauradores where you can take the tour buses at their first stop. Room was very small but clean and updated. Bathroom was nice, just that the shower was small- the type of corner fit one person shower. Breakfast was not included but it was nice with a variety of choices included their famous pastel de nata! So a good choice if you don't have time to go out for breakfast. Front desk staff was great!

small shower and there was construction behind the hotel but it really didn't bother us

The location was perfect within easy walking distance of literally hundreds of restaurants. The hotel is on a pedestrian only street so vehicular street noise is minimal. The central plaza was a 15 minute walk from the hotel and the information office, a stones throw as well.

Because the hotel is on a pedestrian only street some taxis will drop off and pick up but only as far as they are legally permitted to go, So, you may have to wheel your luggage a bit further than you planned. Some taxis will take the risk of a front door drop-off/pick-up, so all is not lost. You just have to plan on waiting for a taxi a little longer.

Excellent location, steps to lots of places that we visited and in a nice neighborhood of Lisabon. Close to a metro station and rail station ( if you plan to visit Sintra, the train station is just across the street). lots of options to eat just steps out of the hotel. Despite being in a busy area, very quiet room. Clean, new hotel. We could leave our luggage the last day until 3 pm, while enjoying the last day of our stay.

I would prefer a simple coffee machine in the bedroom. Almost all hotels provide it these days, and it is good to have coffee first thing in the morning. I wouldn't mind also to have an iron, it is practical after your clothes are in a luggage and want to go out for a nice dinner. Also, I know that by rules checking is at 14h, but our room was not ready even 20 mn before...maybe receptionists are told to go by the rules, but little flexibility, like 20 mn is going an extra mile for your guests.

Excellent location close to everything so we went walking to many places and didn't need a taxi! Girls at the reception are the sweetest persons ever! Room is very clean and breakfast was very good 👍

Housekeepers are unfriendly! Elles sont désagréable ! They keep talking and making noises while they were cleaning which is not normal! while we were sleeping! They slapped doors strongly and woke us up each morning! No coffee machine or at least a kettle 😒 Beds are too small and room is so tiny

Location of the hotel was amazing - Steps off of multiple squares Rossio/Restauradores/Figueira - with the train station and multiple metro stations nearby to quickly jaunt almost anywhere in the city or beyond. Our room was on the first floor (above the 0 floor), right near the elevator, with a patio that was connected to the breakfast area - and we did not have noise issues. The hotel front door was right on a crowded alley with a ton of different restaurants (5-6 within the block). We used the hotel wifi without issues (though it would occasionally drop, it usually reconnected almost immediately). We also had the hotel send a car to pick us up at the airport, and ordered a cab for the morning we were leaving with the front desk. Both drives went very smoothly.

Our pillows were almost non-existent. But the rest of the bedding was nice. The bathroom shower was not designed for us - very little storage in the shower, and the doors only opened enough for a slender person:)

The location is fantastic and common areas of the hotel itself are clean. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops, tourist attractions and busses. Even the hop-on/hop-off bus tours have a stop and ticket office within 4 mins of the hotel. Staff was very responsive to requests and were attentive to our needs, which helped make the experience more comforting. Room cleaning worked daily and were professional.

The room are not very well equipped with proper furniture for longer stays and furniture itself is of cheap quality. We were a family of 3 and had to live mostly from our luggage as we could not store our stuff in the very limited number of small drawers available. The pillows are not good at all. Very flat and barely provide any support. Shower is extremely small and uncomfortable, and bathroom itself is very dark and does not have ventilation. Breakfast was good but was missing some fresh vegetables and the sausages are not very good, otherwise it was a decent variety.

We were arriving late in the evening and the staff checked us in really quick so we able to get some food, the room was spacious and clean, and the location perfect, we could go for a nice dinner just by 1 minute walk. The breakfast simple but tasty and all fresh. We really enjoy our stay.,

- Bathroom light , is a bed dark. - Breakfast, all fresh but they could have served boiled egg, I hate mussy scramble egg.

this property is in a perfect central location with restaurants / transport and everything you need literally outside the door . the staff on reception are super helpful, both girls gave us great restaurant recommendations and advise on where to visit . the rooms are minimalist basic rooms , really clean with lovely linen and towels and water provided . the windows block out street noise but it’s is the middle of a beautiful vibrant city so of course there is noise .

bathroom needs a shelf for toiletries
