Very good location especially if you are using the Lisboa card to get around as the hotel is 2-3 minutes from the Rossio metro, or the adjacent square which is also a 28 tram terminus (Martim Moniz), In another adjacent square (Praça. Figueira) there are also loads of bus stops. Rossio main line station is about 5-7mins away and there you can go to Sintra. The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful - and staff on the front desk spoke English. Very effective air con. Restaurants everywhere around. Hotel will look after bags if you arrive early or if you have a late departure.

More towel hooks in the bathroom. Needed more storage space for clothes in our room. We half lived out of our suitcases. Room seemed dark. We tried the breakfast and preferred to eat out - eg in Portuguese cafes (or bakers/padaria).

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. 20 minute walk to the waterfront, 15 minute walk to the castle and streets of restaurants and gorgeous sights within 5 minutes. The room was beautifully clean with gleaming white sheets and towels and the added bonus of a fridge. The double glazing is something else - you shut the windows and its totally silent! We were on the fourth floor and I think that helped judging by other reviews. When I was searching for where to stay I went round in circles trying to work out which area I wanted and studying reviews and become absolutely boggled with it all. We walked the length and breadth to do all the key sights as well as walking tours and repeatedly loved the location we had chosen to stay.

I had to ask for the fridge to be fixed (which it was within the day) and for help with the air conditioning which they insisted would only go as low as 19 degrees and suggested we just opened the windows if that wasnt cool enough, but the noise from the streets meant that just wasn't possible at night time. The toilet was also had a bit of 'movement' to it when you sat on it and the runner on one of the doors on the shower was broken so it waved about quite a bit! Not big issues, but the reason why I've taken a mark off the facilities. We had a small balcony but only one chair in the room. Would have been nice if they had copied some of the bars with the same size balconies and popped a couple of stools and small table on it..

The location was on a little side street very close to a pretty central square, by the train station and metro, with many shops, restaurants, and a little grocery store nearby. And it wasn't a long walk to the Tagus river, Castello Sao Jorge, Lisbon cathedral, Sun Gate, and other areas of interest. The room was good, a little small, but the staff, especially Antonio, were outstanding in helping us with lost luggage, places to eat and see, riding the metro, arranging the shuttle to the airport, and printing boarding passes, can't say enough good things about all the help they were!!!

Not a thing!

Fabulous location, really quiet rooms despite being in the centre of town and we overlooked the main street. The double glazing works a treat. Breakfast was plentiful and a great choice. Bed really comfy and pillows were nice and soft. Someone mentioned that they'd seen poor reviews especially about drugs being offered outside the hotel. We didn't find that, but remember it is a city and you can come across this anywhere. Staff helpful about places to go. Would go back. I would have loved a pool too, so perhaps next stay would be somewhere with a pool. Highly recommend taking the train to Cascais, it's very pretty.

Nothing to report.

A very central location in a bustling part of the city but there was surprisingly little noise once in the room . Check-in was efficient and we were able to access one of our rooms well before the standard check-in time. The rooms were spacious, modern and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and were multi-lingual, which is very helpful for a non-Portuguese speaker.

There is no bar, which is fine as the hotel is centrally located...but even a small bar is sometimes nice to have to come back to at the end of the evening. The view from both rooms we had was of a brick wall...but not a major issue, particularly for somewhere that is in a busy, built up part of a city.

Room was big and very comfortable including the bathroom. Good central location though you do have to walk past an area with a lot of people loitering to get to the hotel. This might not have been as nice if I was alone. We got the breakfast on the final day and that was delicious, one of the nicest I've had in this price range of hotels.

Our room was not ready upon check in. We had to sit and wait about 20 minutes, that's fine, it happens but when we saw the housekeeping staff stroll in and around the place while we waited, it didn't paint the best picture. I also rang to ask for no housekeeping to be done on a certain day (they mention it is done from 2pm-5pm which is not the norm) and the receptionist either didn't understand but she wasn't the best communicator on the phone and of course we got a knock for housekeeping after ringing to ask for it to be canceled. There were no do not disturb signs to put out.

The rooms were great size and the morning breakfast was fantastic. The daily room cleaning was amazing and when we first arrived the room was immaculate and smelt lovely.

Our shower - there was a lot of black mould spots in the grout and it smelt like mildew. Our shower and sink didn’t drain properly. We notified front desk who said they would send someone up to look. The sink was fixed but not the shower. So every time we showered the water would fill up quickly around our feet.

We liked the fact that the room was spacious and that its location is very convenient. Antonio was a very friendly and helpful jentleman who was working at the reception and met all our needs!

We didn’t like the fact that we paid a lot of money for three nights but wasn’t worth it because the hotel doesn’t offer anything special except the room. We also paid extra for breakfast but it wasn’t anything special and there was such a small variety of choices. It should be included .

I absolutely loved everything! The staff is super kind and always ready to help, we have been offered a premium room as we arrived and this was huge and super clean. The hotel is central and really easy to find, you can literally go anywhere from here. Every morning we had cleaners which done an amazing job, we always found the room clean, impeccable and smelling fresh. 10 out of 10 service ! Also want to add that everyday, they left us water and chocolate in the room, this was really appreciated 😁 Will definitely come back! Obrigado Rossio Hotel !
