We stayed in three different great hotels in different areas in Lisbon. The hotel is beautiful from check-in to the rooms and being in the heart of Alfama is great. You can jump off Tram 28 to this hotel just as it starts to get super crowded. The selling point of this place is the view and sitting on the patio having dinner and drinks at the property. We always ended our evenings here as it was romantic enjoying cocktails and dinner with provided blankets. the Amenities of the room are good, but was one of the few places that charged for provided drinks/snacks in room. The Price for breakfast is too pricey for what is offered, but enjoyed a short walk to Antu Alfama. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend staying!

The hotel staff was exceptional! Starting with the front desk people- they were so helpful and knowledgeable. They assisted with difficult questions like where to get a Covid test! The bar/dining staff was also exceptional! I was traveling solo, and my Christmas Eve Dinner was to die for! I think it was like 8 courses and non-stop Prosecco! Incredible evening. I didn't feel alone at all. The staff made my holiday very enjoyable and very special!

All was almost excellent ...m They might need few more staff at the bar in the evening; was bit slow to get served; but Think this may be attributable to Covid staff shortages etc; Important to note that everyone from bar team that was there were doing amazing job ... Respect; I will be back for sure!!!!

I appreciate space in Alfama is an issue so not sure if its even negative for me to say this but if you are looking for hotel where you can lie down by the pool or chill in the pool, this probably not your option. Pool is very nice but for decorative purposes only (even though I did dip in couple times ;)

Artistic & high quality design throughout, the terrace with a pool and far reaching views over the rooftops of Alfama and the river. Room thoughtfully provided for: kettle for tea & coffee making, very quiet fridge stocked with drinks, port & Portuguese pastries gratis on arrival. Bathroom had a magnifying mirror, facecloths, shower cap, toiletries, power shower… All staff were charming, helpful and friendly and nearly all spoke English. Delicious breakfasts with fresh fruits and juices, yogurts, homemade granola, omelettes etc

We booked a 3 night stay over my husband’s birthday which co-incided with Good Friday. Lisbon and nearby Sintra were very busy over Easter. We’d like to return to memmo Alfama again and book a longer stay outside of school/public holidays.

Room w the Terrace has a fantastic views. Definitely would stay again Wonderful to have food/ drinks on all the different Terraces. Staff at front desk very helpful & friendly. Thanks for storing & moving my luggage Mr. Neilson.

Moved from 1st floor to 3rd but Doors to other units on 3rd floor.. too loud. Every time someone entered hotel room across from me a door slam.. bang! No sleep. Too much of the window is obstructed on 3rd floor… suggestion cut a porthole window same as a ship has! Didn’t know about free breakfast or Fado night. No separate beds & bedrooms are quite small.

The contemporary feel and details of the interiors, and the external terracing. The location in Alfama and the sensational views from the terrace, both day and night. The bedroom and bathroom which were well designed and sophisticated. The reception staff help and attentiveness.

Generally bar and catering staff were excellent, but an incident over very poor service whilst on the terrace, along with mis-information from the individual was upsetting. However we overcame this and had further good relations with the individual for the rest of our brief stay.

The staff!! Also breakfast, the view, our room, the pool, and did I mention staff?! So nice. The room was perfect, not huge but exactly what we needed, and the bathroom had this big lovely shower and great design.

It is a bit rough getting there with a rental car if you’re new to Lisbon driving, a little dead end tiny street, but then we’d arranged for valet parking so the staff met us, helped guide us in, and then took our car away and parked it for then duration, which was awesome.

Room, location, terrace, view, reception staff. Reception were so helpful and made our honeymoon very special. Also very accommodating to our needs. All fabulous, comfortable, luxurious, super clean and of course beautiful. We appreciated the architecture of the hotel and the well placed picture windows which give you views of the beautiful city. Also sampled some of the tapas - delicious!

Breakfast service each day. They were short on staff. It was really difficult to get cold milk for the amazing cereal selection (strange but true!). We had to go and find staff (literally wait outside the kitchen until someone appeared) to get things like milk, extra water or coffee which was a bit frustrating. Especially as I’m six months pregnant! If they had some dedicated breakfast waitstaff to look after guests that would be a huge improvement.

Memmo Alfama is a special hotel hidden at the end of an alley in Lisbon's most beautiful neighborhood. The property is stunning, and the juxtaposition of minimal modern design with centuries old buildings is remarkable. The rooftop is great, the breakfast is generous, and the rooms are comfortable and meticulously clean. The property is also quiet given its position away from the main road. The staff were very accommodating. I'd definitely stay at Memmo again!

The wifi was very poor. The average download speed was between 1-2 mbps in both the common and private areas. You won't be able to make video calls or stream video. Breakfast was lovely, but disorganized. Not enough staff and every morning something different was missing. But it's hard to complain given the setting. The pool is gorgeous, but not really useable (unless you want 20 people sipping cocktails watching your every move)

Main hotel terrace with views over the Tagus. Service was exceptional. Food was great. Location was ideal!

The room was barely large enough for two people with two suitcases. Granted, the room size was mentioned but we won't stay there again because of the tiny size. Too bad. Also, there was no lighting inside or near the closet so you couldn't see what you were looking at or looking for.
