Location was central to most things, but was also quiet at night. The breakfast was wonderful and really good value compared to other places. The staff were generally friendly and helpful.

While the bathroom was really beautiful and well facilitated, it had no sound-proofing at all. There was no kettle.

Location was great and the rooms were cleaned very well everyday!

You could hear everyone in the halls and whenever people would enter their rooms it sounds like your own room's door is being opened...

Ideal location away from the hills - IYKYK. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Bartender was entertaining with his travel background. Room service is phenomenal. Front desk personnel was helpful to recommend services and call taxis and greet us during our 10 day stay. Very central location away from the "hills" 2 blocks over. Windows open which we love - they also close for the 10pm after crowd below which can be a fun boisterous.

Breakfast was very pricey although it looked amazing, we never went. We normally reserve hotels with free breakfast. Room service for 1 person was more than enough for 2 people and was half the cost. Ordered room service 3 times and was ansolutely amazing all times. The hotel bar is amazing but rarely staffed and closes at 10 pm.

We had a perfect location given the hot summer days. We could always go back to our room and cool off and then out again. The room is the normal size of such hotels. Super easy to access the main points of interest.

The water offered was only a small bottle and only in the early morning. If you came back from a very hot day outside touring, you want to have some water. Sometimes the front desk staff would say there was no more water even if we did not yet get our ration for the day. We made sure to ask the lady in the front desk for water or questions as she was more friendly than the male reception in the morning or the evening.

The location is amazing. Very close to the main sights in the Baixa & Chiado district, restaurants, bars, and the metro & tram. The staff was very friendly and check-in was super smooth, we arrived a bit early and could store our luggage there. I was pleasantly surprised that you could not hear any street noise, so that is perfect for light sleepers. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. The room overall was very clean. We also got new towels every day and new coffee pods. Loved the shower with its rain shower head. We haven't tried the bar downstairs, but from what we could see that it has a good selection and reasonable prizes.

The room smelled like cigarettes when we first entered it (even though it had big no smoking allowed sign on it). We were able to solve the problem by opening a window and letting the air con run. However, the air con was very loud, too loud to let it run for long. I can imagine that this would be a problem in summer. You could hear all the noise from the hallway, people entering and leaving their rooms. Fortunately, there weren't too many rooms on the same floor. There were some screws loose/missing on the shower door, made it seem a bit flimsy.

Location is perfect - couldn't be better, really, for exploring Lisbon and being so close to some of the main areas/sights. Breakfast was definitely worth the money - varied, fresh and plentiful, regardless of how early you went down there. WiFi and room facilities generally good, even on the top floor.

Air con was weak - could be controlled within the room but was an old machine with little power - this was an issue given the heat in Lisbon and the lack of respite from an open window (air con wasn't affected by the window being open) Main problem was the sheer amount of mirrors in the room, particularly the bathroom. This may sound ridiculous but, honestly, it was obscene. No one wants a mirrored door and mirrored walls in the bathroom. No one wants to watch themselves on the toilet. It has the opposite effect of making the place look bigger as, instead, it makes it incredibly claustrophobic and, honestly, uncomfortable. HATED that, there's just no need.

Location was really good, handy place to start exploring. The breakfast was tasty with lots of choice but as others have said, the space is small so you feel like you need to get up early to get a good spot. You can have Cappucino but you have to work out how to do that with their nice Nespresso machine. The staff were really friendly and helpful when I asked to change my room because of how close it was to the lift and potential noise. Great to have room service.

The housekeeping service was excellent but it did take them a while to get around the rooms, so you could be out for the day and come back at 4pm and the room might still not have been cleaned.

We made a reservation within a week of visiting so our rate was pretty high....especially considering there was no pool, spa, or extra spaces available for guests (other than the breakfast area.....BUT, the STAFF was amazing, helpful with directions, supplied extra hangers, a kettle for the room, a corkscrew, etc all delivered with a smile within minutes of asking!!! The room was not large buy had soaring ceilings and a large shower. The towels and bathrobes were plush and the AC worked well. Special thanks to IRIS for checking us in and getting us settled and for the man who checked us out at 5 am, called a cab whose credit card reader was not working so he called us another one!! HOSPITALITY! Special thanks also to the hotel management who provided water, flavored water, pastries, and fresh fruit at the front desk. THESE things make for a special stay!

We stayed for four nights at the beginning of our trip to Portugal. The room was very comfortable and very quiet with windows closed. The location is great for visiting Lisbon and although we took an Uber the subway is quite close to the hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic with a large selection of food and a great selection of Nespresso coffee. The first morning I forgot my purse in the dining area. When I realized 1/2 hour later I found that a young man serving in the breakfast room had turned my purse in to the front desk which was amazing and such a relief!

Typical of a European city the rooms are not large and we had quite a bit of luggage as we were in Portugal for an extended period. We expected this so not an issue for us but just fyi. Also, not the hotels issue, but be aware Uber cannot pick you up outside your hotel in Lisbon due to some kind of government restriction.

The Vincci Baixa Hotel was perfect for our 4 night stay in Lisbon. We have stayed at 5 star hotels in Lisbon in the past, and although rated as a 4 star, it is definitely one to consider. Quiet, comfortable room within walking distance to restaurants, walking paths along the water, and attractions. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with lots to choose. Staff were terrific and very helpful with any questions we had and took care of issues right away. We'd like to say a special thank you to Filipe who went above and beyond helping us contact an Uber ride to the airport. Since they could not stop in front of the hotel, Filipe helped us with our luggage to a pick up spot around the corner, and waited with us until the Uber arrived. Wonderful service! Many Thanks!
