Nice hostel to stay at on your camino. The dorms have a lot of beds although it’s designed in a way it feels like there are smaller rooms of 2-4 people. It’s nice that the beds have curtains for privacy. They provide bedsheets as well. Happy with my stay, the breakfast was also a good offer.

What bothered me, I was probably unlucky, was the mattress, because I could feel some kind of wires/hard stuff in it and was a bit uncomfortable to lie on.

This hostel is mainly meant for pilgrims it seems but I was travelling solo to a festival in the area and loved staying there ! The staff was welcoming and accomodating, from the receptionists to the breakfast and cleaning crew. The hostel is located in a lovely area that I wish I had more time to explore. I was scared when I booked a bed "in a 20 beds dorm" : these are not 20-beds in a room - fear not, you'll just have one bunkie to share your space with, and panels to separate your bunk from the others that make them feel like completely separe rooms - very pleasant surprise. Check in and out is easy, breakfast is 100% worth the few extra euros, I really slept alright for a hostel and the showers/toilets were squeaky clean. Bring your own padlock and towels of course, like in most hostels. If you are on a pilgrimage or a walking-adventure : they have cool stuff like feet-bath, documentation on other destinations you can reach from there and activities around, a laundry service, a fridge to share leftover food/drinks with other pilgrims... All this didn't apply to my travel conditions but I found it hella cute. Thumbs up, Arca Nova, best hostel i've been a guest at and I've been to a few ! Hope i'll get a chance to stay with you next year.

Very well set up for anyone doing the camino. Laundry services, foot baths, massages and taxi to boat next morning all arranged. Excellent breakfast including gluten free options.

Kitchen area and foot bath option were standouts of the facilities. The breakfast spread was outstanding, including lots of tasty options, even protein! The convenience of a free shared cab from the hostel lobby to the water taxi was incredible and much appreciated. I was impressed with the value and would stay here again.

The man with whom I interacted at reception was generally friendly and helpful at check-in. Unfortunately, I observed another staff member who did not have the patience or knowledge to help another pilgrim with their questions.

Very comfortable private room with terrace and big bathroom. Room was warm and bright. Excellent hot shower. Room had armoire to hang clothes. Breakfast offered a variety of foods which were very tasty. Checkin was easy and the man was very genial! Arranged boat transfer for us to Spain to continue the Camino. It was great!

The breakfast room was a bit small for the number of guests who all wanted to eat early 7:15am in order to catch the water taxis or start walking by 8. At 7:40 the room was practically empty and no problem to find a seat!

One of our favorite hostels of Camino de Santiago. We liked everything! :) The receptionist was very kind and helpful. He also made us laugh a lot, after arriving super tired due to a taugh stage of Camino de Santiago :) If you are a pilgrim, you will have all you need: confy beds, clean toilets & rooms, silence and privacy. The space is very well designed, as the kitchen and toilets are far from the beds. Black curtains in the beds help to have privacy and a good sleep. Other key details include: Great location, individual pluggers & light, washing machine, oven, a cozy kitchen, and a welcoming space to clean and treat your feet. The atmosphere is great! We strongly recommend it!

Nothing.

Upon our arrival we were received by the owner, an amazing person. He was everything that is great on some that owns a hotel. Told us stories, recommend nice places and explain everything about town. The hotel was amazing. We arrived and wanted to rest and that is what you can do here. Is perfect!!! And breakfast OMG! Just what you need to start your day pedaling!

There is nothing

Great welcome from Pedro. Just perfect place to stay after a long walk. Location, ambience & cleanliness & comfort make this a 10! Loved the salt foot bath concept in communal area. Breakfast offered lots of choices. However, the lady working in the kitchen on the day told us that breakfast was over at 9.00hr but that was not the case.so we rushed ours when other customers were eating @10.00. Just a tiny niggle over that.

Excellent, friendly staff. Great breakfast with homemade yogurt. Location near train station and main street with lots of restaurants, bakeries, and shops. Nice expansive view of a park like area . Our 4 bed room had a huge private bathroom with a bathtub. The lobby area had an inviting foot sink with salt or sugar scrub. We took the canoe/boat trip to Valenca/Tui from Caminha and would recommend it!

During wintertime on the caminho the dorm room wasn’t fully booked, so I had a really good night sleep. It is one huge dorm room, with separated bunk beds with curtains. The staff was very friendly, Kitchen facilities are also good. Restaurants and Supermarkets are nearby :)

It’s not a big deal, but while eating in the common room, light is turning out after a few minutes, so you have to activate it again through the motion sensor.
