Fantastic location, helpful and friendly staff - particularly Ana who was always happy to assist with booking activities or queries. Great facilities, comfortable rooms and beds. I found the hotel to be very clean, and food to be of excellent quality at the restaurant. There are a plethora of activities to choose from (both relaxing and action packed). Overall I am highly impressed with RIDE Surf Resort and spa.

Booked in December but had to rebook a month before as original booking was cancelled. However they have compensated for this and they have said they will honour the original rate which I hope to resolve with them and booking.com soon. The 10/10 is subject to this being resolved.

Lots of space for the number of guests, nice garden, pool, skatepark and gym.. Sauna is free for guests to use and is excellent. Hotel is very well maintained, decorated to a high standard. Comfy sofas in the lounge. Staff were attentive & helpful, service was excellent. Location is great, hotel itself is quiet but lots of restaurants, cafes and amazing beaches within 5 mins walk.

The location is great, since it is a very quiet area and to the beach it is only a few minutes walking, but it also takes around 15-20 minutes walking to the nearest cities, Baleal and Ferrel. My mother and I mostly had dinner there, but the hotel also has its own restaurant, which we tried out one night and which was really worth it! Next to that, the breakfast buffet was simple but had everything you would need. The staff was really friendly and attentive, although most of them didn't speak any English. Especially the manager was great and helped us out with everything that we needed.

The only thing that I really missed was a good coffee! The breakfast buffet unfortunately has a machine that gives out really bad coffee. Also, some of the equipment and furnishing looks and seems to be a bit neglected, so maybe a few things could be replaced or renovated.

This is a great hotel with a fab pool and other fun facilities. Close to the beach.

The only downside is that there was nowhere within walking distance to get any food in the evening we stayed there. This meant we had to eat at the hotel. Whilst the dinner was delicious it was also really expensive. Next time we would stay somewhere in Ferrel rather than on the outskirts at Ride.

the facilities were superb, you could do anything there. It worked very well for our family as there were good skateboarding facilities as well as a sauna, swimming pool and a games room. The staff were very friendly, always ready to help out. The breakfast was very good too.

The family rooms could do with being a bit bigger but the bunk beds in the family room was very well designed. The bunk beds were much bigger then average and the curtains meant the kids had some privacy when in bed.

I really liked the hotel overall: quiet location, with a lot of parking available, walking distance from beaches and local restaurant. The amenities are awesome for a family: all equipments as described (swimming pools, spa area, play areas, etc) and rooms are fantastic for fams (bunk beds with black out curtains)

I feel like the breakfast buffet could be of slightly better quality (very generic, not many local options) and restaurant was good but on the expensive side.

Great family resort, the kids loved the theme and the bunks in the room! Breakfast was good, dinner options were a little limited but still good. Heated pool is a def bonus! location a a short walk from the beach... not the first time we have stayed here, and we will definately stay again for our surf trips to Portugal!

A true surfers hot spot with a lot of young people having a good time. The staff arrange different activities throughout each weekday and there´s generally a very good vibe. We chose to stay additional days...

Everything was better than expected.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic, from the moment we arrived the staff were incredible, always going out of their way to help. The rooms were big and bright and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was well worth the €10 a day and had a great selection, even for someone who doesn’t eat meat. Overall one of the most relaxing and fun hotels I’ve stayed in for a while.

Great facilities. Never felt busy as quite a big plot with not many rooms. Good breakfast. Great location with quite a few restaurants and beach bars within walking distance. Kids loved it - games room and pop art were a hit
