excellent location, l spacious , sea view balcony is amazing

We’ve been to this hotel before so we knew what we’d booked …. or do we thought , we arrived on the Sunday, when checking in were advised as cleaning is now every 3 days our room would not be cleaned, we asked ,what if we need fresh towels ? yes, they would be available at an additional cost of 5 euros , not great , we stayed here before , to change housekeeping to 3 days is too much as the floor was dirty by the time we checked out, beds not made , almost out of loo roll and shower gel, the pool was also closed and no sun beds to use either , very disappointing , we also had to pay a deposit of €50 for possible damages ?? awful

Amazing location, had sea front apartment. It’s a million dollar view. Sat outside many times. It was very hot out, ac quiet and only needed one at low settings. Roomy. Lots of hot water. It’s a little dated, but clean. It’s three star, got exactly what we expected and more. There was three of us, we doubled up the mattresses and it was good for 1 person. Likely fine for kids. Convenient store across steet. Parking convenient. Been to pria da rocha many times before, never stayed here. Would again. It’s at the quieter end of the beach which is nice. Also it’s away from the party/pedestrian corridor which is nice.

Excellent location - beachfront. Amazing view of the ocean from a balcony. Apartment in a simple shore style, a clear white decor in combination with blue colour and light brown furniture. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room for the first time. Based on photos here I expected an old fashioned apartment, but in reality it was not like that at all. I enjoyed my stay here and didn´t see any negatives worth mentioning. I guess it is about what you expect of this property, and if you expect it to be something that it´s not, you´ll be disappointed. If you like to be taken care of on every level, if you like to be pampered, if you like to use all kinds of hotel services and advantages, it is not a place for you. But it was a perfect place for me. A nice clean quiet apartment with breath-taking view in an excellent location with all the possibilities around in walking distance (beaches, food, shops, city centre etc.). Some practical into: This place does not offer free wi-fi, which I personally don ´t see as a problem. Most places I´ve been, the free wi-fi was terrible, so I just bring my own data plan. There is no food service of any kind in this hotel, but there are so many great food options outside (restaurants, coffeeshops, markets) and there is a nice kitchen with basic kitchenware (in my apartment there was an electric stow (oven), a microwave, a toaster, an electric kettle and a clean fridge with a freezer. For me that´s everything I needed. The staff at the reception desk understood and spoke English, they were pleasant and helpful. One useful info: when checking in, I paid a deposit of 50 EUR, there was a possibility to pay by card or cash.

the location was good the rooms spacious the staff were friendly wonderful view of the sea from the room,handy for local transport, bars,and restaurants.close to the beach.

100 euro deposit on arrival to cover any breakages, 5 euro a day for Wi-Fi ,15 euro for safe. No teaspoons, ants.

The upgrades to the units are wonderful. I've been coming to this hotel since I was a little girl and returned with my husband and children. The change in ownership has allowed it to evolve while maintaining the charming qualities I love about it.

Praia da rocha in general has gone down in terms of toursim. As a child it was vibrant and very clean. Now it is a bit rowdier but it is still the best bang for your book in the Algarve.

Comfortable, spacious, comfortable and very well located. I highly recommend this place, beds were very comfortable, the flat had everything you need and the views were also stunning.

Cigarette smell in the corridor and no free wifi available in the flat (extra 5 euros per day). I consider wifi is a basic need nowadays.

parking was expensive 20 eu a day is excessive. I paid that in Porto for 3 days. You have to pay 15 eu for the wifi for the 3 days. not bad but most places have free wifi. I assume because they also have apartments that are rented longer term they have to do it that way.

The view, it was the best room. Best view. So my travel company wanted to eat breakfast and lunch and sometime dinner at my place.

The cleaning was only now and then. Not enough when you are getting dirty and sandy every day when playing Beachvolley

The view was spectacular. The staff were helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and a good size. Everything we needed was within 2 minutes or closer. The pool was nice.

The smell at first was a bit damp but disappeared by the next morning.

Spacious apartment with lovely view of the sea. A bottle of wine was left in our apartment as we had said we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We had stayed there on our honeymoon and asked for the same room which we had 25 years ago. We thankfully got the same room again which meant alot to us.

The apartments and reception area need to be renovated. Nothing had changed since we were there 25 years ago.
