I absolutely loved my time at Jardins do Porto! The double room with balcony was gorgeous and comfortable. There is a lovely view over the city with magnificent sunsets. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and staff took care to make sure I knew what was vegan. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - it is a five minute walk from Trindade train which is direct to/from the airport and in walking distance to all of the sights while still being on a quiet street. I highly recommend staying here! I hope to come back :)

Everything about this place is ideal. Location is central but still quiet, staff incredibly friendly & go out of their way to be helpful. I had an unfortunate situation happen, & the staff, particularly Joel (hope I spelled right) couldn't have been more accommodating & served as liason with relevant govt agencies. The breakfast is amazing with local products and fresh juice. I can't rave about this guest house enough. There is also a restaurant on site & although we didn't have dinner here, the menu looked scrumptious. If the breakfast is any indication, I have no doubt every item on menu is delicious. Jardins do Porto is a hidden gem.

We had a meal at the hotel, it was a vegan menu, we are not vegan but it was superb. The meal on Sunday booked for us, by the staff was well chosen. The rooms were well set out and considered. All the staff without exception were very obliging.

These are not complaints but observations. We were on the top floor and we were able to hear next door so might have not been appropriate for a honeymoon stay. Breakfast started a little late and we missed some due to some tours.It was suggested after a missed breakfast that they could have done something for us. We had another tour the next day but the staff didn't seem aware, despite informing the reception, that we thought that they would be something ready for us.

If you are looking for an exceptional stay as a couple, complete with a warm welcome, staff that go above and beyond to offer great service and to make sure you are as comfortable as possible in a unique and stylish boutique hotel, then Jardins do Porto is your only address. The hotel is also located at close walking distance to the Porto’s beautiful historical city centre, cafés, restaurants, bars and places of interest. We were blown away by its friendly, multilingual and obliging staff, attention to detail and adaptation to our needs, complete with the quality of our room with a balcony in a refurbished and stylish building. Breakfast is freshly made each morning using high quality ingredients and we had the possibility to breakfast in the very relaxing garden to enjoy the good weather. It was a perfect place to stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you Sara and João and all the staff at Jardins do Porto Boutique Guesthouse for making our stay so memorable, we will return and happily stay for longer!

Quite honestly nothing, except that two nights are too short, so we will be back! The hotel staff treat their jobs almost as a vocation, such is the dedication, good humour and willingness to look after guest needs. Well done to you all.

Loved it! I got such a warm welcome, and although I arrived relatively early the room was ready (starting of my holiday like this was just what I needed). The staff is amazing, all of them. The location is perfect; on a relatively quiet street an easy walk away from the crowded city centre. The breakfast was excellent, very important! And the rooms… the first two nights I stayed at the standard room, which I loved (really my colouring!). The second time I stayed one night at the Superior Room, which was excellent too. I travelled alone and preferred the standard room above the superior room but that’s personal, both are super nicely decorated, have a balcony and a fantastic bed. Guys, thank you so much! 😊

Me and my Wife stayed here for our Honeymoon and the stay was perfect. The room was clean, crisp and instantly calming to be in. The staff were so friendly and helpful, recommending things to do based on our tastes! The food was amazing and the bar staff were delightful. Great cocktails too! The location of the guest house was perfect for us, only a 5 min walk from some of the best restaurants and bars in Porto, and just enough outside of the hustle bustle that the location was quiet.

Lovely. The property's architecture and interior design flows perfectly within the city industrial-chic aesthetic, with a touch of organic, sustainable, modern vibe. The staff was super kind - particularly Sara - and the prices are honest. Our room was bit tinier than expected but the sunny balcony made up for it. The outdoors garden is the cherry on top - the sound of flowing water and seagulls make you forget that you're in the heart of Oporto's most iconic street. In short, a great place to stay and we'll comeback for sure.

We had a very lovely stay. The design and style of the hotel and all areas is exceptional. Also the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff members was outstanding Room services leaves little snacks in the room (fruits, pastels etc.)

- the rooms are very small and the beds are shorter than expected (which is only an issue, if you are over 180cm tall, beside that they were very cozy) - the view from the balcony is mediocre at best

Beautiful hotel very close to city center. Everything is on walking distance. The rooms are beautiful and quiet, ours had a little porch overlooking the garden. The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast delicious. If you want to have dinner there we can only recommend it! Very good restaurant! We had a wonderful stay and will be back!

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It is beautifully appointed, every nook and cranny has been thought of to the last detail. It is new, immaculately clean, beautifully designed. Service is wonderful. Jessica is a wonder. She mans the reception BUT the next morning, we found her fixing the very appetizing vegetarian breakfast buffet AND then proceeded to cook us yummy, fluffy scrambled eggs. We also met the very friendly owner. The room was wonderful. If I would make on critique is that the room is small (so take note if you are carrying big luggages) BUT in spite its petite size, there were so many thoughtful touches to make one’s stay comfortable, decor was a sight for sore eyes, and the firm bed and thick pillows were a delightful place to rest one’s body and soul. Please ask for the room on the 3rd floor with the balcony facing the super cute garden. You will not regret it. This is a 9-room boutique hotel. Very special. Don’t hesitate to book. The bar is also amazing!
