Had all the essential bits that were needed. I got the budget room as I was travelling solo and I would recommend this for solos. The room is small but you've a double bed. The bathroom is clean and modern. It has a safe and minifridge and hairdryer. The lady at reception was amazing and so lovely

The bed was a little uncomfortable but the days were so busy it didn't really matter.

Brilliant stay and wonderful staff! The trip was a birthday gift to my boyfriend, and the staff very kindly upgraded us to a suite as they had availability. Very nice gesture! The location was perfect as very central. The hotel very quirky and intresting. Service was just impeccable! We had our return flight cancelled last minute and the staff helped immediately by finding a hotel near by. In a stressful moment, and during high holiday season, this kind of assistance was priceless. Thank you so much! You made this trip memorable! 100% recommend and would stay again.

I had expected a small single bed as I was travelling alone so I was absolutely delighted to get an 8 foot bed that was solid and comfortable! The wonderful lady who cleaned the room was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right in the city centre so I was able to walk everywhere and the area is quiet at night. Lots of great restaurants located close by along with great wine shops selling the magnificent Portuguese wines

Some of the electricity points in the room need to be replaced and also bedside lamp was old and not working. It would have been great if there was an iron available to help prepare for a night out, the hotel offers an ironing service but it would be better to have one available for when you need it.

The location is super, we had a double room with terrace so had plenty of inside and outside space. Room very clean, staff super friendly and helpful. The vintage bumper cars, memorabilia and toys everywhere were a super treat!

The bed wasn’t comfortable, not a very restful sleep. The breakfast in the morning didn’t look amazing, but was pretty alright actually, with one exception the coffee: the coffee was not good.

The hotel is unique in its style. The only “bumper car” Hotel in Europe and most probably in the world. For those who lime memorabilia it’s fascinating. The decor is astonishing as the owner is an avid collector, and there are bumper cars every floor, retro office machines , toys from 30’s to 70’s, old advertising posters, difficult to tell, as this is absolutely unique and enjoyable. The interior architecture of the building is art deco style. You will be fascinated for such a hotel experience. Plus the staff very nice, giving suggestions about the rich and diverse gastronomy of the capital of the north of Portugal, home to world famous Porto wine. The room is fine, comfy bed and mine had an amazing view from the top. A stay to be remembered and a strong wish to return. Definitely suggest!! And the location is perfect right in the centre but quiet at night. Lots of shops and restaurants around, with the Town Hall just 5 minutes walking! Given my curiosity, the owner gave me a tour around the hotel pointed out the most relevant memorabilia of his extraordinary collection! Top really!

Excellent location - in the historic center of Porto; easy to get to from the airport, close to the metro station. Many attractions can be reached on foot - Clérigos Tower, Word's most beautiful bookstore "Lello & Irmão", São Bento Station, Porto Cathedral, Ideal Clube de Fado, etc. The Porto City Hall tower served us as an indicator of the hotel's location. Our room was spacious, clean, warm and quiet, the beds were comfortable. A laptop sized safe in the room was also a plus. The reception staff is very nice and friendly. Good breakfast. The antique exhibits in the interior of the hotel are amusing. And such a beautiful staircase! Great value for money!

Very eclectic hotel with a 50's vibe. Got a huge room for our family of 4 and as it was in the upper floors, it was incredibly quiet considering the central location of the hotel. Because of the location, it was very easy to access all the major attractions of Porto. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance and even a full size supermarket too.

Wifi was very spotty unless you were right next to the router, which was in a little entryway outside of the main room. Service was basic and breakfast was decent, even though the offered bread and pastries seemed old and dry.

Centrally located. Friendly and very helpful staff - every single staff from frontdesk to breakfast hall. Check in/out very smooth. Have to leave your key with the front desk whenever you leave the hotel. The wifi wasn't that strong in my room - maybe because my room was at the end near the staircase but not a major problem. Breakfast was decent - everything you want is there. Breakfast is at 8Euro which you pay at the front desk before going to the breakfast hall. Its an old but gold(very clean, decent) hotel with retro/vintage furniture/pieces scattered all over the hotel. You will want to go to all the floors to see the various retro items. Such good memories. A total visual treat. The next time I visit, Im gonna bring something vintage/retro and leave it there! Shhhhhhh!

The hotel is stylish, I really loved all the old stuffs painstakingly located in everywhere of the hotel. The location is pretty good. Metro station is just near the hotel and bus station heading to main sites is very close as well. The breakfast was good, it was in a wide variety.

The room was so small. I had a medium-big sized luggage and I even could not open it appropriately in the room. I also don't like taking a shower in a bathroom covered by a shower curtain, but it is an issue of mine, not a fault of the room.

Very nice and cozy hotel. Inside looks like a museum of old and retro household items and decorations. I got a lot of pleasure walking up the stairs to the third floor, where my room was located, looking at all these items. The room was big enough to even do a little workout in it. The room is equipped with air conditioner, which I turned on to get warm after a walk under the cold rain. The location of the hotel is amazing! In the very centre of the city. One minute walk from the central Christmas tree. The staff are nice, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay a lot!

At night the entrance to the hotel is closed so I had to ring the doorbell and wait till the receptionist came to open the door. No key cards, just a real old-fashioned key, which can be an inconvenience if you travel with someone [however, I was alone, so not a problem for me].
