The location is just perfect, right at the Liberdade square, close to everything, but still away from the crowds of Ribeira. The service was excellent, and the hotel is very new and modern. The room, with a window looking at the backyard was really great, large and spacious, and very silent. Wonderful breakfast - great variety of food and a very stylish comfortable restaurant! The hotel staff was above and beyond kind all the time and fulfilled all of our requests. The room and the hotel overall were also very clean and we generally had a very comfortable stay.

We initially paid for a room with a view of Aliados avenue (and Liberdade square). However, the room was tiny, and it was noisy because of the traffic (with the window closed it felt like it was open). So we immediately asked for a change of room, and we got a room looking at the backyard, not an impressive view, but that room was very silent and was twice the size of the previous one. So, one piece of advice: if you like silence and space, go for the room without a view - it is also cheaper.

The location of the hotel is amazing, in the center of the city , no need to think of taking a taxi, room size is excellent and very clean, the spa was the best ever in terms of massage. Breakfast was good with different varieties. The gym was nice as well. You can completely enjoy setting in the balcony and look at the sites outside the street.

If you want to order an omelette you need to pay 10 euro, the elevators are really annoying and the whole hotel depends on one elevator we were lucky to book a room on the first floor which made us use the stairs all the time.

Breakfast was superb, wide selection to suit most tastes, everything quickly replenished when empty such as fresh fruit, eggs etc. Staff were constantly checking all the food dishes and were very attentive, clearing tables constantly. Reception staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. Location of hotel great for accessing all tourist spots although main square under reconstruction so not at its best. Walk back uphill from river was good exercise but probably not for all. Hotel situated adjacent to Aliados metro station, I mean right outside. We had a taxi from the airport to the hotel but caught metro back to the airport, so, so easy. Overall superb and would definitely return here.

Air conditioning was a bit hit and miss, wasn’t too sure if room controls were controlling the air con or the hotel. Looked at restaurant menu for the evening but thought quite limited and expensive, but to be honest we wanted to eat out so not an issue for us

Very good location at Aliados Square, close to Porto's old town, 15' walk from the Douro river restaurants (currently there are several aquare & road constructions taking place around, but not causing major turbulences). Car parking (garage) located 200m from the hotel, very convenient. Good breakfasts. Typical fantastic Portuguese hospitality, personnel always with a smile, willing to help and support if needed. Big comfortable and very clean rooms.

We booked 3 rooms with balcony, unfortunatly 2 out of 3 had something that is not a balcony... it is a french window, which one cannot open (there is a stopper which prevents from opening the window wide). Outside the window there is no surface one could stand on (which one could not do anyway, as the stopper prevents from stepping put). Quite disappointing. The management should review the rooms descriptions, one doesn't get what he pays for.

The room was big and had a great view. The bathroom was very nice, modern and clean, with a rain shower. Great central location in Porto.

The staff seemed very confused and check in took a long time. Also, felt tricked into booking a room with spa included, so if you don’t have time or plans to use the spa then beware the extra €40 for the spa. It was not clear that booking without the spa was an option. Not sure why that has to be decided at the time of booking anyway.

We had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados. The staff are incredibly friendly, kind, accommodating and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. The location is amazing - right in the centre and we were able to walk everywhere! It was very quiet at night and felt very safe and secure. Would definitely come again!

Our only bit of feedback was there could have been better coffee at breakfast! It is just a machine but would have been nice to have fresh coffee in the morning.

Attention to details is the core principle of the hotel, together with customers' satisfaction. Including personal needs/requests. A special thanks goes to Lucas and the Senior Receptionist (a very gentle and understanding lady, we don't remember her name).

Sometimes the room cleaning service and room preparation service was uncoordinated. So it happened that the room was cleaned, but we had to wait couple of hours to have clean robes and towels. But it wasn't an issue as the Senior Receptionist took immediately care of us.

Breakfast was great. Eurostars have arrays of foods. Between hot foods to cheeses and awesome cold cuts. From juices to espresso to coffee to even white wine🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Nothing. Service was exceptional great. My boyfriend and I were very happy the hotel location bc it was centrally located, within walking distance to every eateries, shoppings and museums. Breakfast was delicious👍🏻💯🇵🇹 Lucas Santos from Eurostars Aliados were extra helpful explaining to us of ways to save when out and doing the town. Thank you Lucas.

that was the second time in this hotel. that time we got 2 rooms in 3rd floor which was much quieter !! it was very clean, seemed even that the rooms were new ( after renovation), the bed is huge and very comfi, the employees were so helpful and nice about everything, the location is the best - 5-10 min from everything you can want… bath shower and toilet very big separated and very private, clean and comfortable. also were so helpful when we asked a late checkout which helped us a lot!

this time only the noise from a guest above us but it has nothing to do with the hotel- really no complains at all!!

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was wonderful - comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was varied and really tasty. The location was also perfect for us. We'll definitely be coming here again. I must say a big thank you to staff member Lucas Santos - he was very friendly and helpful - we were struggling to find the right metro line to the airport when we left and he took the time and trouble to escort us to the right metro line and explain in detail what we had to do. We would have missed our flight if it hadn't been for him, so thank you Lucas!
