Pros: - close to the airport (20min uber ride) - Literally outside the Aliados metro station which is very convenient - Hotel is located on the main road but rooms are well insulated as there were no noise heard from the outiside - Walkable to most of porto highlights (5min walk to Mercado do Bolhao, 10min walk to Clerigos Tower and Porto Cathedral, 10mins walk to Santa Catarina street and more) - Hotel is surrounded with good food places, just open google maps and search based on your liking. There’s a really good Churrasqueira place that is a 5min walk from the hotel. Definitely a must visit! Resto name - Churrasqueira Moura. - Very accommodating and kind staff. Upon arriving, we were welcomed with the bell man to deliver our luggages to our rooms - Welcome drinks and snacks were available at the lobby and also in your room (bottled water and gourmet chips) - Provides bottled water and complimentary chocolates daily in your room. - Provides free amenities (robes, slippers, sleeping kits - eyemask and earplugs, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, showercap, good quality shampoo, conditioner and shower gels) - Water pressure is good for showering. - Daily housekeeping includes new sheets and towels - Rooms and washrooms are tidy and clean. The sheets and pillows are very comfortable and smells that they were fresh from the laundry. - view from the room was amazing! We had the room by the street facing the Camara Municipal de Porto.

Cons: - Walls are thin between rooms as you can hear ppl murmuring / footsteps. So if you’re a light sleeper this could be a concern - Slow wifi inside the rooms - No exhaust system in the shower and toilet so the moisture and steam can be trapped inside if shower/toilet doors are not opened after use - Elevators are a bit slow and small so if you have big luggages, definitely ask the receptionist to deliver them down.

The location is perfect in city center and every thing you need in Porto are around the hotel. Gym is nice, clean and all machines are new. Breakfast variety can be better. Bath room is big and three different and separate parts for sink , toilet and shower which is so nice.

In bath room was not any hanger for cloth and towel and also there only one bin in toilet part.

Really clean and facilities inside were excellent, The barman was very friendly and the food was excellent

Wonderful location. Metro outside the door made travel so easy. So many of the sights within walking distance. Dining room staff really nice. Could have been wee bit more variety at cooked items, although all very enjoyable. Public transport buses and trains enabled us to see so much of areas outwith centre. So clean and cheap to use. Would go back to this Hotel and lovely avenue. Great situation too if you like to go back for afternoon rest.

Lifts were too slow and too few. Had to wait ages sometimes. Not much else to complain about.

The property was nicely located in the historical center and many things worthwhile seeing at walking distance. A nice spa with sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi was at the disposal of guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a nice proposal for dinner - Graham's Port Factory "Vinum"- on the occasion of my birthday and offered my spouse and me a drink at the restaurant.

The breakfast was extensive with a lot of healthy stuff to choose from. It was a pity that the quality of the food was not the same every day our stay: top quality on Tuesday and Wednesday but a bit less on Thursday and Friday (e.g. croissants were not fresh, bacon was cold).

- The hotel is in a great location. It is right on the square making most restaurants and sights just a few minutes walk. - There is also a train station just outside the hotel too which is so ideal. - The hotel is so lush and the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again

- The pillows were a bit uncomfortable but we were able to make it work. - The rooms were quite warm and the AC only went down to 19 degrees which isn't so bad in spring but I would imagine that in the peak of summer the rooms would be way too hot.

Location is just excellent and generally the hotel is very good

There are some areas for improvement- during breakfast the service is not very good, if some dishes (like even yogurts) are out, they are not refilled- very surprising approach for a 5 star hotel. And cleaning is just very poor. We had a presidential suite but the bathrooms and toilets have not been cleaned daily, garbage could have been left in one of several cans, coffee capsules have not been renewed- this was annoying, clearly lack of control and basic management.

Next time just let customers know you can temporarily park in front of hotel to check in the proceed to the parking garage. There are 2 hotels with almost the same name so need to let customers know which one…..huge difference!
