It was very close to the metro station (just outside the hotel). The hotel is in the city centre. The hotel was clean. The personnel was helpful. Room was comfortable. Bathroom had everything that was needed (shower in the bathtub, bidet, toilet, washbasin, hairdryer)

Not all rooms are on the same level as elevator exit/entrance. It may happen that you have to go down/up a couple of steps to reach your room. But it was clearly stated in the description so I was not surprised.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is only 5 minutes away from Sao Bento train station and 15 minutes from the Luis I bridge. There's a metro and bus stop right in front of the hotel. Our view was very nice off the townhall. The staff is very helpful and can give you tips for excursions. There was a small fridge on the room, enough place to store your luggage, and lastly there is an elevator in the building.

It was very cold in the room. I think that is the reason there were 4 blankets in the room, which we used all. Next to that, we turned on the airconditioner to a high temperature, which also worked a bit. It could be a bit noisy, because it is located in a busy street. The first night I used earplugs, the second night it was quiet.

Location is the best, rooms are big, comfortable beds.

Get earplugs if you'd like to sleep till later, the breakfast served downstairs is not in an isolated space and you hear everybody.

The single room was very spacious and the included facilities were complete as listed in their description. Breakfast was okay and it was cheap, but what I liked the best is the location of the hotel - it's just a few minutes way to the tourist attractions in Porto by foot.

The room was not soundproof at all, I could hear every noise from the voices in the reception and the clanging of the dishes in the breakfast dining areas during the morning and also the footsteps from people passing by my room.

Location is good. Just next to the metro station. It's not noisy at night time.

Great central location - at a wide street just next to the metro station, but away from the streets with noisy night life. Helpful staff and 24h open reception - convenient for late arrival. Free storage for luggage after check-out. Great for a short stay if you want to attend the attractions in the downtown.

The property was beautifully located - a short walking distance to all the sights and attractions. Staff were helpful with suggestions on places to eat. The lift was a plus but I still had a couple flights of stairs to get to my room.

The towels were a bit tired - well worn - time for new ones. Breakfast wasn’t too good but lots of places nearby to eat.

The room is an adequate size for a couple that just uses it to sleep.nothing fancy but also not bad, the bed was comfortable and it had AC

The shower in room 307 had no pressure which made it difficult to have a proper shower. And the way the hangers were arranged at least in my room was confusing..you couldn't remove it so it made it difficult to hang clothes.

I booked this hotel for my parents and I am really glad that they've enjoyed their stay at Hotel Paulista. On behalf of my parents, I can say that the staff were lovely and always helpful! Thank you so much for hosting my parents. I cannot wait to visit Hotel Paulista someday soon!

Good location in a nice avenue and easily accessible by metro from the airport. Walking distance to the main attractions. Old building but clean. I had a very nice view from my room facing the avenue. Air conditioned room.p

I was on the 5th floor and the elevator only goes to the 4th. The bathroom was unusually small.
