Very friendly welcoming staff; everything was well organized and easy to check-in / out. The rooms were a decent, good size for the 4 of us and everything was clean and nice; we got waters in the fridge and a traditional welcoming gift in each room, what was a very nice surprise too. During our stay everything was very clean and the building is nice and safe, located in a prime-location of Porto; in the hart of the city center. Due to respecting the check-out hours, we still could leave our lugggage safe in the building till we had to leave; was very much appreciated. We definitely recommend Almada Wine House and we would def. come back!

No extraction / ventilation in the bathrooms; would have been better. For the rest, everything was very good.

Comfortable and spacious, clean and reasonably well equipped in the little kitchenette. good to have a window that opens wide. Location is superb. Miguel at front desk is fantastic and welcoming.

No shelf in the shower is really annoying with no where to put soap, razors, shampoo etc. Beds not super comfy but that seems to be normal for Portugal, in our 3rd hotel and all beds quite hard with no spongy pillow top. Musty smell in foyer/elevator area is a little off putting.

We didn't opt for breakfast, so there wasn't any. When we arrived, there was no one at the checkin so we couldn't get inside. We made a phone call and someone appeared after 5 minutes. I liked the fact that there was a complimentary bottle of porto on the kitchen table. We received some tourist information from the friendly guy at the reception desk the first day. I asked for an iron and ironing board and found them in our room when we arrived.

There was a problem with the indoor plumbing of the bathroom. The shower nor the shower door could hold the water. Water was all over the floor and we had to use towels to drain it.

The apartament is quite convenient if you want to visit the historic quarter, near most tourist attractions and amazing restaurants.It is cosy and fully equipped, with lots of storage space and comfy beds. The staff is very helpful and friendly.They make your stay great and they give useful advice to make the most of your time.

Location is fabulous. On a quiet side street just steps away from the historical district. Very quiet.

wi-Fi was weak but with a bit of negotiating back-and-forth and signing in every half hour it worked out.

Everything was great. The woman who worked at the reception was very kind and approachable. The accommodation is extremely clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable and we had a really good night sleep. The location is at a great distance if you want to walk and explore the city. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants around the property.

Not the property fault but the city is doing lots of construction. An otherwise ideal location was impeded.

The accommodation was really spacious. We stayed at the "Algarve" one in the top floor. The bed was really comfy and the kitchen/ fridge were very useful. There was some complimentary Porto wine for us which was a lovely touch! Great location, close to main attractions.

Not really a huge issue, but the shower was a little narrow in comparison to hiw big the bathroom was.

Besides Miguel who worked from 3pm there was no one working reception it seemed like in mornings. On his day off there was nobody at reception. Thanks to the cleaning lady working we were able to leave our luggage in the storage room.

room reflected perfectly the pictures , near to the center. Miguel was really helpful in everything we needed , giving us good recommendation for restaurants and he booked couple of them for us.
