Antonio and Suzanna were very gracious hosts. Antonio took the time at check-in to give us a map of the city and high lighted all the areas worth visiting and discussed what we were interested in. We went to Graham's Port Lodge wine cellar for a tour and tasting based on his advice and it was exceptional. My wife took a bad fall and Antonio took the time to drive us to a pharmacy for medications and helped with translations, very helpful! This guesthouse is right in the middle of the city so perfect for getting around. We would stay here again if visiting Porto.

One section of our floor was quite squeaky, but nothing overly concerning.

The location of Porto Music was ideal for me. Nearby Casa da Música Metro with direct line to airport and central Porto, and on main bus route to Serralves and the sea. And a 40 minute walk to central Porto and the Ribeira. And, of course directly opposite the wonderful Casa da Música itself, with its live music, cafe and restaurant. António, Susana and Sandra were very welcoming and hospitable, really helpful indeed. Breakfasts were beautifully presented and varied. My room was great, spacious and light. I was there for five nights - wish I could have stayed longer!

Perfectly and conveniently located! Extremely clean, and beautifully decorated! Outstanding, helpful, and accommodating staff (Antonio e Susana).They allowed us to check in earlier and had breakfast ready for our 5:30am departure. They provided us with a map and detailed explanation of places to visit, to eat, and means of transportation. We wanted to attend a Music House symphony - the tickets were waiting for us upon our arrival. We highly recommend Porto Music Guest House.

The owners are the key to this success. They are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast is good (they should add some fruits or veggies too), coffee is super ok and the location is great for people who don’t want to be in a busy area. Be aware that the toilet door is totally transparent.

The bed is uncomfortable and needs a second mattress above called topper. The topper has a memory foam that is good for everybody. Mosquito net is needed at the windows because we had mosquitos every night.

We stayed for a week at Antonio's and Susana's beautifully restored guest house. It was very well.located right opposite the Casa Da Musica. Close to the Metro and lots of restaurants and shops near by. The hosts were fantastic. Very accommodating and gave plenty of advice about local eateries and good places to visit. The breakfast was very good and the room we had was spotless. Great shower. This was my first time in Portugal and staying at the guest house added to the whole experience. I will definitely be visiting Porto again and I will stay at the guest house for sure!

There wasn't anything not to like...Perfect!

The hotel was well located, near the Casa Musica, with direct bus and metro access and ample dining options nearby. The room was spacious and quiet with an extra sitting area and kitchenette . The room could be obscured well , the air-conditioning was very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was correct and as we flew back on a very early flight we were offered a small breakfast in the room the night before.

The property is easily accessible by underground and the nearest station is a 5-minute walk away. From the bedroom you could see the entrance to "A casa da musica". The welcome was friendly and efficient. We have been provided with all the information necessary to enter and exit independently, restaurants nearby, attractions not to be missed. Breakfast is served in a common room on the ground floor, it is very welcoming and offers different specialties every day. Also on the ground floor, at the top of the entrance staircase and before the reception, there is a cozy reading room. Although the guesthouse faces a busy street, the rooms are soundproofed and no noise is heard. The room went beyond expectations: clean, welcoming, tidy, well organized and quiet.

Beautiful, family-owned and incredibly well-decorated guest house with a direct view on Oporto’s Casa da Música! Susana and António, the owners and managers, as well as their staff, were very warm and welcoming. It felt like visiting a distant relative you haven’t seen in a while but are still well received by. My flight out was in the evening and they offered me to work from the lounging area in the meantime and even drove me to the airport as they had to pick up another guest there. Count me in as a regular guest!

Big, quiet room, with good design. Good location Friendly staff.

Breakfast, to small selection and lacking quality. For example only one time boiled eggs, no variation with ham en cheese and quality just ok. Juices not fresh, coffee nog good. Sweet things ok. Staff friendly and doing there best, but chaotic so during our visit there where a lot of small mistakes.

Very nice location of hotel - metro is near and it is not so far from the historical city center. Staff is very kind, friendly and helpful! Thank you for sharing your tips on what to see/to do. We enjoyed our stay and we recommend it to everyone!
