There were a few problems at the beginning because the hostel has a few rules that I don't agree with, for example you have to leave your room every day between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. because it's being cleaned (I've been staying in hostels for 15 years and have never experienced this). Furthermore, the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. The staff member said this is on their website. But after repeated searches I couldn't find anything. The rules were only communicated to me after booking. Furthermore, you can't wait in the hostel until you can check in at 3 p.m. You have to leave the hostel. But I came along with rhese rules more and more as longer I stayed. Breakfast is fine and okay for the price. Kitchen well stocked. Room was very big with terrace. Despite this, I really enjoyed my stay, especially because of the manager, whose friendliness is truly out of this world. I would come back anytime because of her. She tries to make the impossible, possible for you. Thanks again

The place was great, there’s a garden and a kitchen you can use. I have to appreciate also the pleasantness and wiliness of the staff, they were really nice! :)

I would welcome when the breakfast could be served a little bit earlier, at least 30 min. I personally find 8:30 late, for example when you want to plan a trip to another place (but maybe there’s a reason why it’s so done:))

Location of Hostel in quiet, residential neighbourhood full of character and amenities, quiet at night but at within easy reach of everything either on foot or by the metro close by. Room was lovely and so spacious, with direct garden access. Sanitisation procedure of bags was a novelty but appreciate the need and actually think more hotels and accommodation should adopt it. Cleanliness was top notch, the garden to relax at the end of the day, and eat the meals we prepared or the breakfast they provided each morning (simple but good, even had fruits from the orchard). Curfew (ie. silent time and access policies) are strict but that's what makes for a good night's sleep after much wandering and a safe environment for all the guests, even for the many solo travellers.

Nothing, everything fine.

Everithing was perfect. Suzana is wonderful and thank you very much for waiting for us even though it was late. We had a late flight and a misunderstanding with another reservation. The location is excellent, right across from the metro station and the bus stop to the airport is there. We were given a great map to explore the city and all the information we needed. Everything is clean and tidy. Breakfast is ok. And the lady from the Chile was also very halpful.

The location of the hostel is ideal. 5 mins from Carmichael Metro station and 15 minute walk from the City Centre. The staff are very helpful and welcoming Breakfast was a nice touch and well organised. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.. Alalso a very good size. I met some lovely people

Lack of privacy in the bed. It would be great to have curtains around the beds. The stairs. I would have loved a lift, but understand it's not possible 😁.

Breakfast was good and staff was excellent. The trainee was really good and she provided me EU charger otherwise Id be in trouble with charging my phone. One of the roommate was snoring through the night which was a bit annoying and the pillow was uncomfortable for me otherwise the experience was really good overall.

The staff was very kind and ready to make my stay pleasant. I stayed in a shared 8-people bedroom with a south view, to the back garden. This made my stay peaceful and restful. The room dimensions were decent with plenty of space to walk around and access your bed, and big windows made it very easy to wake up in the morning. Comfortable bed, very clean and free sheets and towel. The location is perfect close to Boavista, a city hub. Breakfast is bread with cheese and ham and a hot beverage like coffee.

I found the shared showers a bit old with no natural ventilation and therefore not providing a clean look. I had a broken locker, so I was not able to keep my belongings next to me, but the staff was helpful and stored them in their room. Be aware that check-in is only until 21h.

The hostel hosts and staff were really helpful, patient and kind. They had a pin board of opportunities, were there on call all day, breakfast was great and they helped me print my boarding pass past their working hours because somethinng went wrong with my airline, they were more than happy to help!

Honestly nothing!

Near a metro station (Carolina Michealis) so easy to go around fast... grocery store not to far.. Kitchen with a lot of equipment.. Good breakfast.. Good room size (got double bed with share bathroom)...Staff helpfull, polite and great.

Wifi was mostly only working at the front desk but not in thw rest of the hostel.

The hostel was conveniently located near the center and went beyond my expectations. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and the hostel itself was spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light in the room. The facilities were all very clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable too. The personal lockers provided lots of storage for your personal belongings, too. The backyard was a nice place to recharge after a long day of running around Porto and the neighborhood was also peaceful. The breakfast was simple but nice with complimentary coffee and unlimited cereal. Also super appreciated the included towel and extra blanket on the bed!

A curtain for privacy when sleeping would have made the stay even better, but that's just me being nitpicky! It was a little bit challenging to reach the hostel from the city central.
