The place was great, there’s a garden and a kitchen you can use. I have to appreciate also the pleasantness and wiliness of the staff, they were really nice! :)

I would welcome when the breakfast could be served a little bit earlier, at least 30 min. I personally find 8:30 late, for example when you want to plan a trip to another place (but maybe there’s a reason why it’s so done:))

Location of Hostel in quiet, residential neighbourhood full of character and amenities, quiet at night but at within easy reach of everything either on foot or by the metro close by. Room was lovely and so spacious, with direct garden access. Sanitisation procedure of bags was a novelty but appreciate the need and actually think more hotels and accommodation should adopt it. Cleanliness was top notch, the garden to relax at the end of the day, and eat the meals we prepared or the breakfast they provided each morning (simple but good, even had fruits from the orchard). Curfew (ie. silent time and access policies) are strict but that's what makes for a good night's sleep after much wandering and a safe environment for all the guests, even for the many solo travellers.

The staff was very kind and ready to make my stay pleasant. I stayed in a shared 8-people bedroom with a south view, to the back garden. This made my stay peaceful and restful. The room dimensions were decent with plenty of space to walk around and access your bed, and big windows made it very easy to wake up in the morning. Comfortable bed, very clean and free sheets and towel. The location is perfect close to Boavista, a city hub. Breakfast is bread with cheese and ham and a hot beverage like coffee.

I found the shared showers a bit old with no natural ventilation and therefore not providing a clean look. I had a broken locker, so I was not able to keep my belongings next to me, but the staff was helpful and stored them in their room. Be aware that check-in is only until 21h.

The hostel hosts and staff were really helpful, patient and kind. They had a pin board of opportunities, were there on call all day, breakfast was great and they helped me print my boarding pass past their working hours because somethinng went wrong with my airline, they were more than happy to help!

Honestly nothing!

The hostel was conveniently located near the center and went beyond my expectations. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and the hostel itself was spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light in the room. The facilities were all very clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable too. The personal lockers provided lots of storage for your personal belongings, too. The backyard was a nice place to recharge after a long day of running around Porto and the neighborhood was also peaceful. The breakfast was simple but nice with complimentary coffee and unlimited cereal. Also super appreciated the included towel and extra blanket on the bed!

A curtain for privacy when sleeping would have made the stay even better, but that's just me being nitpicky! It was a little bit challenging to reach the hostel from the city central.

The location is great: just next to the subway and within a short walking distance from downtown.

On the pictures the hostel looks much better than in reality. No tea bags are offered. The biggest frustration is that the kitchen opens only at 8:30am, so if you want to boil a water for a cup of tea in the morning, you need to wait till at least 8:30am! Very inconvenient. If you want to leave your luggage after check out, the property charges you. There was no plug next to my bed.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was a great way to start the day and chat to others. Room was very clean and well organized and the shared spaces were nice and spacious. Excellent outdoor space too.

The top bunk beds have no outlets nearby so it was difficult to charge my phone without bothering the person below. Also there are no shelves or table space for the top bunk so it was difficult to find my glasses in the morning or have a water bottle nearby.

I would get tall shelves for the rooms, the bottom area can have the outlets and "space" for the person in the lower bed. The top area can have the outlets and "space" for the person in the top bed. It also provides a visual barrier and a sense of home away from home since one can put personal items and other things very close. Other than that, the facilities are good.

The only bad experience. I had was the people I was sharing the room with mainly unconsiderate and unconscious behaviors like not putting their phones on silence so bipping everytime there was a message or leaving the room's door open and not switching off the lights of the bathroom. I had to get up many time to switch of the light so I could finally get some rest after long journey. Really annoying and unvonsiderate.

Great value for money, especially with the breakfast included (though variety is limited). Rooms very spacious and clean! Staff very welcoming and accomodating with storing luggage before check-in and after check-out.

Some shower doors did not close properly so it could swing open and water would deep out. Additionally, showers take very long to heat up (not a problem for me but a bit of a waste of water to let it run hot).
