Room - clean, modern lines. But design exceeded functionality in a few things, eg bedside table was so small that the bedside light took up most of the space, leaving no room for anything other than my spectacles & phone! The sink in particular might have looked good, but didn't allow it to be filled to wash your face, the tap had to be running all the time. Breakfast - I was very happy with the selection of gluten free breads & pastries available at breakfast, I just had to ask for them. Location - very handy for the Bom Sucesso mercado! Staff - very helpful & all spoke good English. Taxis - taxis ordered by hotel arrived in minutes

Location - was a bit further out of town than I would have liked, so limited options for a walk, or 'something to do' in the evening.

Location - city center is easily accessible by public transport / walk Small shopping mall close by, attached to a food market with many options Staff was wonderful - courteous and knowledgeable. There are kosher options at the hotel - contact them and ask for details (not always available)

The shower and toilet have glass doors, so they are exposed to the rest of the room (can be blocked off with a curtain but only to an extent). So privacy was a challenge

Great location: easy access to public transportation (metro and several buses). Room was modern, comfortable and very quiet. Reception staff was very helpful. Breakfast choices were excellent (fresh bakery goods, fruit, hot options). The Bom Sucesso Market next door is a wonderful place to have dinner or a drink.

Our only issue was the dinner we had at the hotel restaurant. The quality of the food and the service was quite average, especially after all the wonderful food we had in Portugal.

The staff were very friendly. Rooms kept in exceptionally clean and all supplies were constantly updated and replaced. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection to suit all tastes and staff here again were extremely good and ensured everyone was well looked after.

The bottle banks and bin collections were very early and quite noisy on the street outsudee

The fact that under the hotel there is an excellent food hall is a huge plus. It means you can enjoy your day in town and work your way back to the hotel for meals and drinks. Staff in hotels also good regarding the city and local area for travel tips on trains, buses etc.

Journey back from downtown is a bit long as its all uphill but then the Duoro river has to be on the low side. Water does not flow uphill YET!!

- location - staff are very helpful - piano in lobby is a gem - the direct access to Bom Successo market is a massive bonus - room size is bigger than most hotels and facility in the room is good - cleanliness is exceptional

Breakfast could be improved; - Juices are not natural, not enough fruit selection, - station were not refilled promptly, always had to ask attendants. - Could do with wider choice of coffees too or maybe investing in one of those machine with multiple drinks options

This is an amazing hotel. the location is great and the room is perfect. The bed was so comfortable, the blackout curtains were great, it had air conditioning and it was quiet. everything was like new, The Bom Mercado is downstairs so perfect for coffee, food, drinks at any hour.

Direct metro from airport to Casa da Musica - 5 to 10 mins to hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of food outlets next to hotel 12 noon check out was appreciated.

Nothing really. Hotel is about 30 mins walk from the historic centre, not a problem for us.

We got a spacious and aesthetic room. We had a parking reserved at our request. Breakfast is good. The staff is kind and helpful.

We chose a hotel that was recommended for religious Sabbath-keepers, but throughout Shabbat music was heard in the hotel, we did not receive a Shabbat key. The receptionists came every time to open the room for us. A piece of furniture was placed in the room with a bottle of water, glasses and cookies on it. I sat down with confidence that a padded seat next to a refreshment was indeed meant for sitting and not so! I fell and was injured, burned by a glass of hot drink I had. For those interested, I have a photo of the furniture.

Amazing hotel, staff is friendly and its location is actually good for those who want to stay closer to the newer part of Porto and the subway stations. Cleanliness was a remarkable.

Far from the historical neighborhood, breakfast is expensive and below my expectations for this kind of hotel.
