This hotel is the most amazing hotel we have ever stayed in as the staff just get it right. They are so professional and polite but are not in your face and fake. They are quietly there in the background doing their job.. We checked In Saturday and the man in reception could not have been nicer, giving us a tour of the hotels facilities before he took us to our room. The lobby area is so beautiful and the pool/garden area is stunning. I used the pool multiple times a day . Housekeeping staff are so attentive in that area also keeping it pristine. Flavoured water was available throughout the day in the lobby as well as still water provided in your room which is a nice touch. Even the decor of the lift was amazing , without those awful brightly lit mirrors so many hotel lifts have. The lighting in the hallways was so nice. Beautiful sturdy doors greet you are your room with digital keys that worked every time , Wine and chocolates greet your on arrival. The double vanity, separate shower and toilet area as well as the small kitchen facilities are all amazing. Our room had a balcony also which we used every evening. The room decor is so modern and feels like an expensive home rather than a hotel . Housekeeping do an amazing job, not once was our room not made up when we returned and it was spotless, they also do an evening refresh of the room. The real gem of this hotel has to be the breakfast staff. Two gentlemen (the same two from Sat to Tue) were in the. Breakfast room and they just got it right everyday. Like the other staff they just quietly do their job without being in your face, they know what you want just as you have the thought yourself. The food itself is amazing and I wold totally recommend guests add breakfast to their stay. The rooms must be soundproof as you hear no outside corridor noises or maybe there was no noise as it is such a calm hotel . At a time when the word appears to be struggling to get staff this hotel has amazing staff .

The only negative to this hotel was not waking up there this morning .

The staff were so accommodating and kind to us during our stay. We had a minor disturbance with an alarm one night but were immediately upgraded to a larger, beautiful room (our original one was already wonderful), which we were incredibly grateful for. The food was lovely and the location perfect. A dip in the pool after a day exploring was also most welcome. Our stay at Saboaria made our experience in Porto extra special. Highly recommend.

Loved the boutiquey hotel vibe...was so incredibly stylish, clean, comfortable, the pool jacuzzi and steam room were such a bonus was a great city break with all the creature comforts. Completely chilled all the staff were amazing, accommodating, helpful, friendly, polite and took real pride in their hotel and work, can't thank them all enough it's exactly what we needed, total distress.....The location was great with everything in walking distance.Loved Porto we will definitely return again.

If I had to mention something it would be, the spiral staircase, had to very carefully at all times as the steps were so narrow...definitely wouldn't be appropriate for the elderly. Unfortunately the restaurant was out of action for lunch and dinner which was a bit disappointing but I'm sure they'll be in full swing again soon.

We had the pleasure of staying at one of the best non-chain hotels we've ever visited! This boutique hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, but still in close proximity to the city center and all major tourist attractions. The hotel is a historic building that has recently undergone a gut renovation and only opened a few months ago. It still has that new and fresh smell! The hotel is spotless and inviting. Our room was spacious and beautiful, featuring charming exposed thick brick walls that provided ample privacy. It also had a fully equipped kitchenette with a stove, microwave, coffee machine, and electric kettle. The staff surprised us with a bottle of local wine and chocolate truffles, which was a lovely gesture. Each night, the turn-down service left a small gift and a sweet note wishing us a restful sleep. We particularly enjoyed the spa and heated jacuzzi/pool, which was a delightful treat after a day of exploring the beautiful streets of Porto. The breakfast was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 10 out of 10! We cannot praise the staff enough! Adriana, Gabriela, Robert, Ruben, and Hugo were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto.

Exceptional stay at this hotel. Staff were excellent, from the receptionist when we arrived, to everyone we met at breakfast and the night shift receptionist that even helped us after his shift had finished and he saw us at the Metro station. They made the stay very personal and would be a reason to go back. The online check in before arrival made the whole experience very smooth. Excellent location beside Trindade Metro. Room was beautiful, with every facility possible. The interior design is chic and timeless with a touch of local flair. Fabulous.

The facilities, staff, services, and location are the best by far of similar luxury hotels that I've stayed in the past. The staff was friendly, helpful, and willing to go out of their way to accommodate all our needs and assist in any way possible. Their attention to all the "little details" (hot towel on arrival, chocolate and wine in the room, relaxing tea in the evening, etc). The pool and spa were particularly enjoyable and restorative after long outings in the lovely city of Porto. The central location of the hotel enabled us to walk to all the great sites in Porto - downtown, to the river, to the shopping areas, and the many other beautiful sites. We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel!

We loved everything!

The hotel definitely made my experience in the city better. The rooms are very large and beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and available 24/7 for anything, a very good breakfast and at a very good price, you definitely get more than what you pay for

there was no gym or place to park the car, we had to park it in a parking lot 30 meters away but very expensive

The location was perfect for us. We enjoy the Santa Catarina area with all of its shops and restaurants. There are some markets and wine shops very closely located to the hotel for convenience. For being right in the middle of the action, the hotel was amazingly quiet. We had a room facing the interior garden and we slept with our window open. That is how quiet it is! The beds were comfortable as well. Our room had a bathtub, which was heavenly - but be careful, it drains the hot water tank for a few hours. Although our room wasn't supplied with bathrobes, they happily brought them to us for our travels between our room and the hot tub/pool (extra pillows were provided as well.) We didn't even ask - a member of the staff saw us in the hot tub and offered robes because it was a chilly morning. This is how accommodating they are! We were there over my birthday and we were surprised with chocolates, some wine and a lovely, handwritten card. We received a turn-down service of lavender oil and tea bags each night to help us relax. It is really the staff who go above and beyond and make this hotel truly 5 star. We would easily stay again.

The TV is very oddly placed. It doesn't pivot on the wall, so it's really not watchable unless you stand next to the wall. We ended up just using our laptop to watch a movie one night. Not a big deal for us, but they should consider changing this setup.

Wonderfully cosy bed with a supportive mattress in a large room with a sitting area. The staff were all incredibly kind and professional. They made us feel genuinely welcome. There were nice little touches daily like a turn down service with calming pillow scent and balance teas. The towels were soft and fluffy and the Wi-Fi fast. The shower worked really well. We enjoyed our stay which was relaxing _ just what we needed at the end of a month of travelling. Next time I would ask for a room overlooking the garden and I hope the jacuzzi is ready and working. It’s a new hotel. We thought it is rather special. We hope it does well. We wish it all the best of fortune and luck.

A fantastic, stylish brand new hotel in the heart of Porto with the most attentive staff you will ever meet. The interior has been beautifully and thoughtfully designed and the team could not have been more helpful, making us feel incredibly cared for and special. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus! We even came away with some unique espresso cups that were being sold in the lobby as part of a showcase/shop of beautiful local craftsmanship. We will be telling everyone we know to book this hotel before the rest of the world finds out about it. A huge thank you to the team for making our stay so unique and memorable.
