We have chosen the Sunrise Montemare Resort for a family break. The location and the architecture of the resort is excellent. Such a huge settlement however almost an outstanding sea panorama from all points. The beach and pools were excellent. The food is great, with a rich variety and options. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Salwa for warm welcoming and caring. Her caring, support and advice during our stay really made us feel at home. Will definitely come back insha'Allah 🙂

The stay at Sunrise Montemare Resort - Grand Select was absolutely superb!! Starting from the arrival until the last day service exceeded my expectations. All members of staff ( manager, reception staff, bar attendants or housekeeping) were attentive and friendly with a smile and willing to assist in any query. The variety of food, presentation and cleanliness at breakfast / lunch break or dinner was amazing. The lifeguards at swimming pools were always alert, which is extremely vital whether you are staying with friends or family with kids. Liked the entertainment/dance show including for kids every evening and then life music later on to enjoy and relax on the terrace. Working in a hospitality sector myself and knowing ups and downs of a customer service, I would like to thank all the staff members of Montemare Resort for the hard work they put into their everyday duties to make every guest feel so comfortable and happy and the stay so unforgettable!!

The food was very various and good for me, but i'm not a hard customer about food. Furniture isnt so luxurious but so comfortable, and the landscape so clean and well designed. First of all, the staff... They were amazing, all of them, i dont remember all off their names because they were all helpfull, kind, and friendly to us. Really a good teamwork! Good service, good quality, good experience... Especially Mr. Mikail, manager, (and the guy at reservation) they helped us from the moment when we arrived there. We were so tired and exhausted because of the night flight, and there were hours to our check in time but they relaxed and help us for eaely check in kindly, even the problem was because of us, not them. Even they upgrated us to cure our demoralization. And when we checked in, we found a room with little surprises and cleaned carefully, even it wasnt a special day. They really make you feel valued after the first step of your holiday...Thanks to them again. The beach and corals, also cocktails were beautiful, alacart restaurants were good, especially Basilico was good for our taste. The only thing i can say, there was not so much thing to do at nights, the day finishes so early and animations just for kids, for adults entertainment is so rare except the little great saxophone ceromony after dinner, but it was short unfortunately. I dont know maybe it caused from because of customer base(there were lots of families with kids) or maybe we were late for the season(december) but if you are a young couple, who wants to have fun at nights, you want a little bit more fun😀 Otherwise, i gave a huge 10 for the staff of this hotel. I didnt want to get back my country after that service, even i dare lots of countries' tourism staff has a lesson to learn from Sunrise Montemare... See you next summer!

The STAFF is AMAZING and so kind!

Very noisy, way too crowded, kids alone everywhere screaming. Do not consider this hotel if you do not have kids, you cannot relax.

It is a very nice resort with kind and attentive staff, good food, everything you can ask for. Hisham, the manager was very kind to me so as Salwa.

I had an exceptional stay at sunrise Sharm El Sheikh hotel. The staff went above and beyond, displaying remarkable helpfulness. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the variety of food catered to diverse tastes. The quality of service was outstanding, and special thanks to Mostafa Hassan for making our dining experience much more memorable and for Ahmed Youssef from the concierge for his ongoing help and guidance throughout our stay.

The rooms are big and relaxing but need a bit of renovation!

Very nice breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful gardens, good restaurant/bar near the beach for lunch. The staff tries its best for you to have a nice holiday. The reef is beautiful, lots of fish! A bus is turning around the hotel, which makes things easy. Thank you for everything we had a good time!

There is nothing walking distance from the hotel (no restaurant), the taxi outside the hotel are quite aggressive and ask 2 times the normal price. It is hard to sleep in the mornings because of the noise from the other rooms, the sun light in the room and we could hear the music from the breakfast that starts at 6:30. There is no proper access to the sea from the beach: we cannot walk and swim freely in the water. Bathrooms are small and just ok. Everyone push the guests to write good comments on booking/trip advisor...we can feel the pressure.

Conclusions: this is a sold 8.5 not a 9.3 facility as advertised . Will I want to come back: this answer is a definite yes. Now the details. I liked the beach, the lush vegetation, the beautifully preserved coral and marine life and I was assured by the presence of qualified staff and life guards. During the day the ambiance is vibrant especially around the pools and tranquil at the beach, a good and well balanced mix for everyone . Breakfast is very good but not great. Whilst s there was verity of food was good, some lacked the refined quality expected. The room pool was another highlight and was also well maintained.

There were no major issues. But irritants were many and their effect was cumulative. The wooden wardrobes in disrepair, the poor shower fittings and finishing and the lack of toiletries on some days. Staff at the reception desk seemed always busy and lacked sufficient staff. And although our guest manger offered to communicate on WhatsApp, follow up was less effective. A reception manager even offered to complete my Booking feedback. Restaurants in the evenings do not cater for family meals and menu verities are limited.
