I really liked our room. The bed was super comfortable, the room layout was very large. I could invite guests to spend time and be ok with it. The kitchen was perfect with everything I needed. I like the sliding door for the bathroom.

I didn't like the breakfast options. A waffle station would have been fun, or precooked waffles and/or pancakes . Drink options I can walk away with. The oatmeal was different every day (sometimes nice, others its runny). Thermostat was not digital so tough to set exact temperature.

Breakfast was wonderful, the selections were plentiful. The area was clean and the staff was very friendly. Really appreciate the welcoming of pets, that made our stay very relaxing, enjoyable and worry free.

The pool access was difficult to locate. The pool is shared with the Hilton but if you find yourself on the Hilton property to use a restroom, the Homewood Suites key card does not allow access back into the pool which makes it challenging to figure out how to get back. The pool is very small, especially being a shared pool and there are no restroom accommodations in the pool area which is an unsanitary situation if you know what I mean. There are no restaurants on the property and the dining area in the Hilton was not open, if it was, most likely not very economical especially with a family.

Let me tell you all about how good my experience was staying at this hotel ☺️ Not only was I a visitor from Chicago, but upon checking in, Tony (I believe was the hotel’s manager) accommodated me by allowing a late check in (2am to be exact) after my flight was delayed from leaving Chicago. Not only did she place a hold on the room so that it wouldn’t be sold, but she was so graceful and nice to talk to following checkout that morning. I would highly recommend visiting this hotel and working with Tony. The staff is very friendly, the rooms were very clean and spacious, and overall customer service was a 10/10. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to all my Chicago friends and family. Thanks again Tony!! This property was beyond my expectations! Great location, a view of the lake right outside your window, clean, updated, all facilities in tact and working, and THE STAFF (every staff member was more than helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us).

What’s not to like? I’ve stayed in hotels and Airbnb’s around the world and I give this one my highest recommendation.

The room was fabulous! The bed and bedding were comfortable and clean. The shower was large and had a wonderful shower head. The kitchen area was perfect and exactly what we needed.

The lobby wasn't the nicest and the breakfast was a little thrown together. The hot part was sausage patties, scrambled eggs and hash brown patties. The couch was in a awkward spot compared to the TV and while you could rotate it off the wall there was no comfortable way to watch tv from the couch.

The breakfast was fantastic. The fruit was nice and sweet, the kitchen was very clean, everything you needed was there. Very little noise and the front desk welcomed my sister and I. They were excellent.

There was two elevators, one wasn't working, but that was find. We were on the 6 floor. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS N.

The atmosphere, the check-in experience, the cleanliness of the room, as well as the view were AMAZING! The amenities really added a special feel as well. I would definitely come here again for personal and business where necessary.

No ice in the ice machine. The people in the room next to me were yelling, arguing, and fussing. Children were screaming too. That was not pleasant on my last day there as I was reflecting on my time there.

The morning breakfast was lovely. The room was a nice size with all the things we needed. The staff was attentive and nice.

I didn't like we had to walk over to the main Hilton for the bar and pool. We had to pay for parking because the side street the hotel is on is small and narrow.

Room size, cleanliness, could prepare quick meals.

People outside smoking Marijuana right out the door, staff said not able to give receipt because used booking.com & parking is horrible & the lot is not close enough to make it handicap friendly.

Happy that breakfast was provided. Unfortunately, I am not really a breakfast person, so I did not have breakfast. However, I could smaell as I went through lobby so the taste couldn't have been too far from the good smells.

I asked for a view and received a 2 sided (rm 1001) view of the city. Thankyou!

I have not eaten breakfast as of yet. But it smells good.

PARKING!!!!!!!!!! Always an issue especially if the Hilton is having an affair to get street parking. I know there is a parking lot but it is a walk away and returning late night or with heels on well, I am just SMH.
