If your stay has anything to do with Temple, you can't beat the location! The staff are very pleasant and friendly. There are several dining options within a few minutes walk along with public transit facilities. Having a top notch coffee shop attached to the building is really nice.

Rooms are a little dated and the floor creaked in one spot which was difficult to avoid. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room given there was floor space that would have accommodated one. Parking can be really tricky if the 7/11 and Maxis crowd decide to park in marked Conwell Inn spaces, but that's not the hotel's fault. Despite a police substation directly adjacent to the hotel, we still got followed by panhandlers while walking to dinner.

THE location for an event at Temple University was perfect. Lovely part of campus. Reasonable, safe parking available as well. Liked having coffee shop/breakfast next door. The room was quiet considering it was on a college campus.

It's no secret that the neighborhood around Temple U is challenging. Not a place to base yourself for any touristy Philly things, but if your business is at Temple, stay here. You will to go back to Center City for decent dining, however. Food Trucks were only open M-F. Bed is soft, but we slept well despite that. Oddball thing: Check in was a bit weird as our room was already occupied! Staff was helpful and surprised as well.

Online it stated that parking was under reservations which I assumed meant a room reservation. When I checked in though they explained that you actually have to reserve a parking spot on top of reserving a room because they only have 10 parking spots available and that they were all booked causing us to have to find street parking in Philly. When asked on how one is suppose to go about reserving a parking spot I was told that you can do it online or call them directly over the phone which again is something that was not explained online. I would recommend the Conwell Inn to make the parking spot directions clearer on booking.com at least so more people don't just assume that they have scored a hotel room with parking included in a city to find out that is not the case until the day of.

Loved how small and cozy it is and that's it's on campus.

Noise travels and we had some very loud neighbors. Also students out late at night kept us up a bit. When I got in the shower I almost fell. It's a very sloped tub, barely room for my feet (women's) to fit side by side on the bottom. Also housekeeping seems to only spray the tub, no scrubbing, so it was VERY VERY slippery. I'd hate for an elderly or disabled person to try to stand in there.

Quaint, little inn right in the middle of the Temple University campus, which gave it a special atmosphere. We were there for a concert at the LIacouras Center, which made the location of the inn perfect for us. Free parking right behind the inn. However, very difficult to find the entrance to the parking! Make sure you drive on Broad Street, past the Liacouras center (on the left) and Polett Walk (on the right), then turn right on Beasley Walk (not easy to find, but it's right after Polett Walk)! Then you can turn right again and the parking lot is right there. Walk towards the campus, passing the campus police and you'll find the inn. Thanks for the complimentary coffee and tea at the lobby! A 7-Eleven and some snack places/coffee shops were right around the corner of the house.

We really struggled with the beds, they were too soft! The location is not that great if you want to visit Philly downtown. You would have to drive into downtown or take the metro, which we didn't find such a great experience.

Male hotel staffer was very helpful with answering questions about check-in, finding the hotel entrance, and parking.

In an era of COVID and bedbugs, practices for hotel cleanliness have changed. Please do NOT put decorative pillows -- previous guests have used these -- on top of a bed that just has been dressed with clean linens. No one expects to see these in a hotel room anymore. Just throw them away. Really.

It felt safe and comfortable and they have great, helpful staff. Perfect location in the middle of everything. Everything you want or need is within a mile or two.

There were no refrigerators in the rooms, had to pay extra for parking that was not guaranteed. If you left the property, you may not find parking when you get back.

Parking was convenient, got a pass from the front desk. The location on Temple's campus was close to Broad Street Line train. Room was clean and water was hot. Easy access to food and a 24 hr 7-11 right next door.

No microwave or refrigerator in the room. Housekeeping entered room before checkout time while I was still in the room. No ice machine on the floor. No breakfast options in the lobby. Nothing major but would be nice based on price.

Great location and front desk people were very helpful

Lighting in the bathroom, would like bright and cold/white light in the bathroom. Don’t want it anywhere else, just changing bathroom light bulbs would be great.
