Amazing. Was extremely worried when we booked and then checked reviews afterwards which aren’t great, we were going to get a refund until we found out we couldn’t… Well I’m glad we still choose to stick to Hotel da Vinci and am absolutely clueless as to what the bad reviews are talking about. Besides the fact it’s not purple, the building is gorgeous and the decor is inside is pretty nice too even if it’s on the darker side, still stunning. We were welcomed by very friendly receptionists and the check-in process was simple and quick. We then made way up to our room, this is the part we were worried about … as we entered the room we were very impressed by the decor, stunning bed frames, a large beautiful bathroom with a waterfall shower. Keep in mind we got the cheapest room rate. Beds are huge and very comfortable. The rooms were spotless and very very clean. The only downsides of the room was that the aircon didn’t work and the wardrobes are built strangley so you can’t open them fully but this really did not change our opinion on Hotel Da Vinci. At this point we were baffled because we were expecting the worst due to reviews left by clearly very picky people. There are trains, bus’ and metros available, although I do recommend the metro which is 15 minute walk but very quick metro ride to Milano Central. When we returned the hotel we thought we’d check out the restaurant & bar area. Yet again, stunning and great food which isn’t too pricey. The service wasn’t the best in the restaurant but they were busy and we could tell the manager/supervisor was trying his best to keep everything under control. You can also order food to take up to your room if you’d prefer that. Overall the Hotel Da Vinci has really impressed us considering the price and is definitely great value for money. You definitely get what you pay for and if we return to Milano we will be staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us to book a taxi because our flight back home would be at 6 a.m., and immediately wanted to call the taxi company when they were a few minutes late. The facilities were great, and the room was clean. The balcony was definitely also a plus side. Was a surprise to see that the outside of the building is not purple anymore.

The location of the hotel is less convenient, but good for this price. The metro is a 15 minute walk, and to get to the center takes about 10 minutes by metro. The surroundings of the hotel are not the best to walk around at night, but with broad daylight it is all fine!

First impression - the building itself - looks awesome! The staff is super friendly and helpful. I think reception is 24h, so we had no issue checking in after 01:00 AM. Check in/Check out process is very easy. Breakfast and restaurant are in place. Room was comfortable, with air conditioning. Bed was huge and very comfy. Good thing they had dark curtains - otherwise we wouldn't be able to sleep early morning because of Italian sun :)

Not that I didn't like it, but the thing I was missing was a bigger garden to hang out in. Location - it is distanced from the city center - but it takes 10 minutes walk to a metro station.

Rooms were very large compared to other rooms in italy. The neighborhood is definitely transitional right now and not what we expected - but once we were in the hotel the accommodations were great and the hotel staff was super helpful and friendly. Food in the upstairs restaurant was much better than that of other hotel we stayed in in Italy. Location - so that train station is literally out the back door from the hotel - so very easy to get into Milan from there - the hotel should provide travelers with a short fact sheet to help them get into Milan key attractions. It would be a nice value add since the hotel is outside of the city

neighborhood was a little rough looking. there is a building in the process of being rennovated next door and properties around were not as nice looking, We had no safety issues in getting to and from hotel.

The location is very comfortable. You can go around with public transport - cheap and efficient. The hotel was very clean and the personal - very nice and helpful. WE LOVED IT🤩 I suggest buying a parking space when you arrive and don't leave your car outside. The streets in Milan are very small and if you don't want to scrach your car - a little bit of money for parking is nothing. We didn't get breakfast, but they had nice cafés a few streets down. Really recommended this place. When we arrived - I don't know why - but they even upgraded our rooms. That was really unexpected- but the rooms were so beautiful! If you need a place to stay in Milan - and don't want to spend a lot of money - this place is 11/10 for that! P.S. the pictures of the rooms on booking.com are real - the rooms look just that beautiful!

Room size is excellent and very quite at night and super clean, Staff are really helpful, parking is easy at the back of the hotel, lifts are really fast and good size. B'fast is good with a nice selection especially those warm croissants which are very delicious.

Needs some improvement in the bed mattress. I asked for lower and more soft pillow which is not available. I stayed for 2 nights and every morning the backed beans was very dry and scramble eggs where cold.

In total my friends were going to spend 6 nights there. I needed to move/delay their stay for 1 day because they had some troubles at the Ukrainian border. I asked the hotel staff beforehand to move the check-in for 1 day later and they refused to do this at all and they charged me penalty for 1 day. It is not normal and abolutely unacceptable especially in this difficult situation in Ukraine.

The hotel was massive, room was comfortable and big. had the essentials needed and was clean. breakfast buffet was worth it, lots of choices. there was a fridge that helped, however would be good to have maybe a boiler for tea and coffee in the room since there’s so much space. we had a balcony but it was literally just that, no chairs outside.

location was a little far from the center.. suburban train home was the most convenient transportation but if missed you need to wait 30mins for the next one. very secluded, no market around so anything you buy is from the hotel and they were expensive. we were not informed about lunch in the restaurant, it’s just written that it’s open till 00;00 and we arrived in the afternoon very hungry. and the staff at the restaurant told us there was just toast and nothing else till 19:00pm.

This level of service added an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to our stay. In conclusion, our stay at the Vinci was a delightful one. From the large, comfortable rooms to the exceptional service, it's a hotel I would highly recommend to any family planning a trip to Milan.

There was one aspect that could have been better - the hotel's location was a bit confusing. We had a hard time finding the place initially, and clearer directions or signage would be highly beneficial for first-time visitors.

Hotel is not in the city centre but it is really good connected with it. Staff was accompanying and really nice. The rooms was big enough for the 3 of us and it was comfortable. Continental breakfast was absolutely amazing! We ordered room service and we got more than we expected! If you are coming with your car, there is hotel parking which is situated outside. I do believe there is security of the parking. Reception works 24/7 which was a big plus for us. All in all really good value for the money and I do recommend it.

They could renovate a bit bathroom. It’s not bad, not at all! But it could do with a little bit of top off ☺️
