It was in the perfect location for my purposes. It's close enough to the centre (piata unirii) that I was able to walk there, or it was two stops on the metro. The bed was comfortable, the staff that I interacted with were pleasant, the shower was great and the fridge was spacious for the drinks and fruits that I needed to store there.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was the cupboard was rather small for two people. Luckily we were in Bucharest for a weekend, so it wasn't a big problem.

We can’t say much about the hotel, since we were accommodated in an apartment, next to the Hotel building. The apartment is great for a 4 people family, with two clean and spacious double-bed rooms and a modern bathroom. Location is very good to move around the city centre and the hotel has a small (and cheap) parking nearby. Wi-fi perfect!

Just to know, there is no lift to reach the apartments at the second floor; the car parking is only for 8-10 cars and you can’t reserve a spot (but at night there is plenty of space in the public street).

Great room, which felt like in a quiet area of town as we could not hear the outside. It is still conveniently located with a big supermarket Mega Image less than 10 min away and the old town about 20-25 min away, all by foot. It also felt safe as the door rings when we scan the key so no one could enter without being heard. The room had a kettle and a few coffee sachets. The bathroom was a nice size and very clean, with a seal on the toilet to advertise it had been disinfected. The hotel very conveniently accepted to check us in early as the room was ready.

The AC was very loud, buzzing non stop. It was needed given the outside temperature that was above 35°C, but if they could change it for a quieter (more modern) system it would help with travelers' sleep. The bed was weirdly made of a thin (but comfortable) mattress put on another, thicker mattress. The thinner mattress did not fully cover the thicker mattress in all places. Although clean in all other aspects, some joints of the shower in the far to reach corners were black with mould.

This is the second time we have stayed in Hotel Duke. The location is excellent as you are very central in the city and close to all of the local transport links (bus, metro, tram).

Only tiny little thing is that we had no shower curtain in the bathroom so when we had a shower, the water splashed out on to the floor.

A very clean room and comfortable bed. There were even bathrobes in my room. Breakfast had fresh vegetables which is quite rare and was a nice surprise.

There wasn't any shampoo, just "hand and body soap" which I had to use for lack of any other options, and my hair was awful after that. Also the windows do not open, there is centralised ventilation instead.

Hotel has an great location, right in the middle of the city, so all major points of interest are easily accessible on foot. The staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms are spacious enough, the breakfast provides a good start of the day. And an extra to mention: although in the city center, they have a quite big parking lot!

great location, nice breakfast, spatious and clean room. it has parking and AC, as well as water boiler, hairdryer, bathrobes and minibar in the room. the staff was very friendly.

rooms need a little updating: wallpaper is coming off in places, no shower curtain, floor has some stains. in our room the window did not open.

nothing everything was good from all stuff

well its about the cleaners in the 5 nites i stayed my room was done once cleaned and 1 another day i got in to sleep around 2pm cos i was very tried and 2 cleaners knock on my door 2 mins after i got in my room and to clean the room and i asked for 2 towels only cos never let me cos i needed to sleep and i thought from 8 to 1pm there was enough time to clean my room

the place is great. Nice hotel, simple, quiet, most of the times clean, the staff is nice (maybe apart from one of the guys - I always thought that he is doing me a favor :)) Amazingly centered - need everything - almost walk by and the cost is reasonable.

maintenance - of the shower, the staircase and even of the lobby.

Excellent breakfast (I appreciated fresh soft bread rolls and good variety in buffet). Very clean room with adjustable heater/air con (I appreciated kettle to make coffee/tea). Everything worked. Was able to print my flight boarding pass. I will choose this hotel next time i return to Bucharest because of helpful staff and man works on 24 hr reception desk which made me feel freedom to come in/out without hassles and feel safe staying at this hotel.

All was good. Can't fault the place.
