This place is everything you see in the photos. The views from the room were spectacular. Just be aware that you are sleeping in a room with just three walls so you feel very much connected with the surrounding nature. it’s wonderful but may not be for everyone. the resort also has a wonderful small hike.

Huge disappointment in that we did not get the room that we booked which was called the "Hilltop Dream Suite" and was the only reason we splurged on this resort. We have to assume that this happened since we booked through booking.com versus booking with the resort directly. I will include pics of our view which is what you are paying for and our view was not the view that we paid for. We only got to spend two nights at this amazing property for a total sum of $5,122.70 which is way beyond our budget for a two night stay, but we splurged since it was our honeymoon trip.

The views on this resort are simply amazing. There is nothing like it. You will be amazed by the views and the breeze. The pools in the room are great and give you a lot of privacy.

The food on the resort was subpar and not consistent. We opted out of the all-inclusive package for meals and drinks and I am glad that we did. I read a lot of reviews before picking this resort and most of the reviews said the food was good. It was not. Breakfast is included with the price but there are certain things on the menu that are an upcharge, which to me defeats an all-inclusive. On top of that, the wait at dinner on average was 2 hours. There was no night we went to dinner and the wait was less than two hours from start to finish. Apparently, the resort has several chefs and it shows. This would be my only complaint about the resort.

Ladera is a fantastic place - we felt like in our wonderful private paradise. The staff were most welcoming and attentive to our needs. The Heritage suite we stayed in was truly magical with stunning view, extremely comfortable bed and a warm pool to swim under the stars. Also the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel provides shuttle to the beach, and the staff is always available to assist with any bookings for experiences and attractions.

This place is pure magic!! the VIEWS!!!! Everything as advertised, we’ve been all over the world and this is my favorite resort ever! Attentive staff without being overly stuffy. Gorgeous petit piton suite J was incredible!!

Nothing! Everything was perfection! If I HAVE to pick something, I wish the shuttle to sugar beach viceroy was no charge, but, 40.00 isn’t bad.

We loved our stay at Ladera! Compared to the other resort we went to, we really felt like we experienced St. Lucia here and are so glad to have tried this unique spot! The food, drinks, room, pools, atmosphere, and staff are all amazing. Specifically, Devonte and Rohan were great to work with and took incredible care of us! If you are looking for a perfect view and are okay with the open rooms, we highly recommend!

The location and views were absolutely stunning. The staff was extraordinary and went out of their way to greet and help you. Everyone made us feel special and wanted to make sure that we had a wonderful relaxing vacation. amazing!!!

Evening dinners in the restaurant were a little disappointing. They were expensive which we were expecting however, the quality of the food did not match the price.
