Nice hotel which was pretty convenient to the O2 via the cable cars. Although it should be noted that the cable cars were not running when the evening event in the O2 was over and we had to get the tube back which was fine. The room was nice with actual brick walls between the rooms instead of the typical cardboard walls which you can hear everything through. The breakfast was also superb with pretty much everything you could want on offer. It was also nice to have a pool which is quite rare for London hotels and our kids loved it. It's also very close to the Excel too and as an added bonus there is a Tesco right next door for picking up water etc.

The window in our room didn't seal properly and you could hear noise from outside but as it was a quiet area it wasn't too much of an issue. Also there seemed to be an issue with condensation in the room and the window always appeared to be wet on the inside.

Great location for central London and the O2. Would definitely stay here again!

On the first night, we arrived around 11pm and were told the bar was open until midnight so had time to enjoy a drink. My friend & I bought a bottle of wine so share and enjoy in the bar area. The bar stopped serving which wasn’t a problem at all and the bar staff were lovely. However, a cleaner started to clean around us and was very rude; a member of the bar staff did have a word to tell her that she was being rude but she didn’t care - she actually came back 10 minutes later and “shooed” us out of the area. This was very disappointing as my friend & I travel for work and always favour staying in the Crowne hotels as the staff can never do enough for you. All other members of staff were polite, professional and kind, however the cleaner did let the hotel down.

We liked that the room was clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. A plus is the Elizabeth Line (train) which is close by (you have to be careful because the train comes rarely and you may get the google map’s option to go to Canning Town metro station which is 20 minutes by walk). You have 2-3 mini stores close by and 2 restaurants. Also, close by you may found ExCel London (for exhibitions) and O2 Arena.

We didn’t like that we didn’t have slippers in the room and we had to request them at the reception. The room was located on the back of the hotel and the window was not properly isolated so the wind woke us up. If you want to get to the metro by night you have to be extra careful since you get past a lot of dark streets and it doesn’t look very safe. When we checked-in, the receptionist took 50£ and told us that it’s still in our account and will be unblocked when we leave, but the money was taken from the account and at the check-out they told us that it will be released in 3-5 business days (I used revolut).

Great location especially with the Elizabeth line and the cable cars round the corner! The pool was a great bonus with good changing facilities and towels. The hours for the families were long and convenient but of course double check. Staff were very helpful and professional.

It was all fine. The breakfast price was quite high but a great selection available. However you aren’t restricted to only the hotel, there were lots of other options in easy access for other breakfast cafes/shops so really not an issue.

All staff were very friendly and couldn’t help you enough. We were able to store our bags before and after check in/check out which was very useful. Room was lovely, good facilities and clean. Restaurant attached to the hotel where we had breakfast and dinner the night before was gorgeous, loved it’d design and food was delicious. We also forgot our toothpaste and didn’t realise until near on midnight but staff were more than happy to drop two complimentary dental kits to our room which we really appreciated, thank you!

Only point we can really think of to note is that the room window was open when we checked in. Not a huge problem but due to the temperature outside at the moment might just be worth closing this once housekeeping are done in there.

The location is excellent. 10 mins walk to the train and bus station. 2 mins walk to the IFS Cable car station. Room was sizeable (Standard twin room for family of 4). Swimming pool was clean, jacuzzi was awesome. I love the chilled free lemon and mint water dispenser at the reception.

The SPA was closed permanently. It was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Security is also questionable. Anybody can walk into the hotel and get to any floor as the elevators do not require a keycard.

Location is excellent and easy access to tube station which is a bonus. Staff were really friendly and allowed us to drop off bags a good few hours prior to check in as we were out for the afternoon. Check in was easy and the room was huge - such a rarity nowadays to find rooms that are not just a bed and bathroom. We had a little sofa, plenty of cupboard space ample room to be able to get changed without being on top of each other. The pool and jacuzzi are fairly small but not an issue for us, we only wanted to chill out rather than spend hours in there. I would say 3 - 4 people at best and the jacuzzi is full! Steam room was lovely and unlike some that we have used lately was actually kicking out a good amount of heat. Sauna was in each changing room so bear this in mind, the other half won't be joining you, but again, not an issue. All round hotel was very clean and well presented. Only stayed the one night but would most definitely use again for an extended stay and use the local restaurants which surround the hotel.

To be fair, there is not anything that I would change. As mentioned, the pool area could be bigger and sauna within that area but it is what it is and I would not mark down for it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza London Docklands hotel. Each staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our room with a queen bed and sofa was spacious and clean. The included breakfast buffet was top-notch. We weren't brave enough to try the black pudding or baked beans, but the omelets they made for us were tasty, as were the little chocolate croissants. As Americans, we found it interesting that the Europeans don't use a top sheet, but just cover up with a duvet. Also, they don't provide washcloths (face cloths as they call them) unless you specifically ask for them. Just unique culture differences. If you're traveling to London, we highly recommend staying at the Crowne Plaza London Docklands.

It was unique to find as Americans the fact that there was no top sheet on the bed to cover up with, and instead you have to cover up with the duvet. Also, they don't have washcloths in the room. You have to request them specifically, but just remember that they call them face cloths. The tub/shower is a bit high for a short person, so be careful when stepping out.

As newlyweds, we were treated so well, given some perks to make our 2 night honeymoon stay memorable. We had a room with a view, given late checkout till 12pm and free drinks vouchers for me and hubby. The breakfast was really good for a hotel, with many options like pancakes, omelette and poached eggs. Rooms modernly decorated and clean (barring some questionable stains on the carpet). Working tv in room. The surrounding area looks great at night with lit up skyline of the city. Cable cars a few steps away, as well as a local Tesco express. Hotel kindly agreed to heat up our take away (had to sign a form) which was helpful. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Was a bit uncomfortable that pool and jacuzzi was visible from street level, felt a bit exposing, with pedestrians walking by and filming! Lack of drying line above bath made it difficult to dry our swim suits, would've been a nice touch. Lighting in room dim and moody. A/c was a bit weak but it was getting cold out so not a major problem this season. The restaurant on ground floor gets really loud and busy on Fri-Sun which can be disruptive late evening when trying to sleep, and people are in the streets.

I chose the hotel for the MCM comic convention. Location wise is great: convention is just a 5 minutes walk from the venue, and the venue itself is connected to the Elizabeth tube line. Getting to central London takes around 20 minutes. Also, there is a Tesco and a ATM machine just outside the hotel (which during a convention is lifesaving). In regards to the hotel itself I honestly had a wonderful stay: the staff is so warm and welcoming, always up to help and give information. My room had an amazing view on the docks, an the bed was so comfortable! No issues at all, definitely coming back!!
