Keith was a friendly, attentive host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend the breakfast featuring many of the tropical fruits growing on the grounds! Wish we’d had more time to explore and in less oppressive heat. We’d already been but would recommend as a base for a night or two if visiting Australia Zoo up the road. A short drive to Glasshouse Mountains Village for provisions or dinner at the Glasshouse Tavern. The communal kitchen in a railway carriage looked great.

I loved learning about Keith's vision in the creation of the ecolodge, how he repurposed a church and a train carriage into lodgings and a kitchen. I also enjoyed the peace and serenity of the place and the integration of nature into the grounds of the ecolodge but also the use of wood on the property to make bedroom furniture. Guests were well catered for, and the focus on local products was great.
The only thing was that I had my own portable prepaid internet and was unable to use it within the room so had to log onto the accommodation internet that had excellent coverage, so really, no complaints.

This is a gem in the beautiful hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. The owner, Keith, is a legend. He has restored this very special spot into an amazing collection of rooms, relaxation spots, breakfast / kitchen area, and hidden walks. Art and sculptures have been dotted around the property, along with wonderful plants, and quirky signs. We also met Sally, who works alongside Keith. Super welcoming and friendly, she made us feel right at home. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. Hope to visit again in the future. The property is a short drive to stunning hikes, beautiful towns, quirky shops, and much more. Highly recommend a stay at Glass House Mountains Eco Lodge.
Nothing, it was amazing

The lodge and train carriages used for eating and meeting were so welcoming. Fun to use and nature so close, you felt like one. The grounds with its lovely orchards, trees, and gardens made a stroll around magical. The rooms were a good size, the bed comfy and everything needed was there. All the lovely wooden furniture made you feel again part of nature. Sally, from the first second of arrival, made you feel one of the family (which was great cos I travelled solo). She gave me good advice on things to see, was keen to get to know me, and shared as well. Standing on the verandah, seeing Tibrogargan rising just as few kilometres away, for me, was magical.
I can't think of anything. It was all I expected and more.

A beautiful place still run by the man who made this magic happen. There is a book in the cabin which shows the creation of this fabulous place. There is a sense of warmth and humour abounding and the view of the mountain is lovely. We stayed in the Queenslander train and would choose it again for the deck on the back of it, the wooden floors, the privacy and atmosphere. The whole experience was special.
It didn't worry us, but be prepared that when we stayed the wifi didn't seem to work and there was no tv, so bring a book or a game and switch off from the world 😉

The accommodation grounds are beautiful and the accommodation itself is varied and interesting. It was a little rustic and quite comfortable. We used the self-catering kitchen to make beverages, but otherwise visited local attractions for all meals. The eco-lodge is conveniently located close to the Rare Orchid Distillery and the Caboolture Country Markets ,as well as several cafes and pubs. It was a great location, including as a base for some nature walks and shopping at Brisbane Airport DFO.
The only thing we noticed was that the bed was very soft. It was comfortable though.

My family and I have just stayed at this hotel/eco lodge this week, and from the moment we arrived, we received nothing but amazing service. The owner clearly cares and want to make your experience as best as possible. We stayed in Room 8, a family room which consisted of a large queen bed and 2 single beds, one being situated on a mezzanine level. The room was clean and spacious and everything we needed for our stay. The owner made every effort to accommodate my children who suffer for celiac, which was going above and beyond!!
Nothing comes to mind

Was the perfect ending to our visit, lush beautiful outdoors, well lit rooms, private and much better than a hotel in the city staring at other units. I loved all the sounds of the birds, and even though it was raining it was still so beautiful to have little wonders around the gardens and a little of the forest walk, I had also never seen dragon fruit trees! So cool. I loved all the quirky details and signs, and absolutely everything you need to cook in the carriage, it was sooo cool to look at the history and enjoy our fresh fruit from down the road, in the train. I would definitely stay again, next time in the carriage ( I was able to look in one, but we stayed in the family room as I had my parents with me.) Im 6ft and slept in the bunk beds which exceeded my expectations for comfort room and softness. Sally was very welcoming and lovely too.

The church felt very homely and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing. The location is excellent, in a peaceful spot but with plenty of walks to do nearby. There is a lovely garden surrounding the property and the interior had all the amenities we needed, with a stovetop and a very comfortable bed. Everything was clean and Sara was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. All in all it was a great place to unwind and I highly recommend the church for locals and travellers alike.

It was a novelty to be accommodated in an old Queensland Railcar which had been modified. It was still however pretty true to it's original character in most respects.
Nothing specific. The location was out of this world, being surrounded by beautiful gardens in the Glasshouse Mountains region of Queensland. Beautiful songs from the many native species of birds in this area and also the calls from Whip Birds and Kookaburras in the morning was a real treat and made you feel close to nature.
