The room was very comfortable, I loved how practical it was. Lots of little details that really made my stay easier that aren't often included in hotel rooms - like the little hotplates, lots of pots/pans/plates/cups etc, dishwashing liquid, washing line in the bathroom, airer on the balcony etc. And the facilities in the hotel itself, the laundry and rubbish chute especially were very handy! All the staff I met were very friendly. Great location to look out across the water to Bribie, and super easy walk to the nearby shops which include all the essentials (grocers, chemist, liquor store etc).

I did get a bit frustrated at the lifts. I understand that these are not something that can be fixed/updated easily, but with only two lifts they're very slow, and I found that as they're quite small I would often wait ages for it to arrive at my floor only for it to already be full anyway and need to wait for the next one. My only other complaint is I had a love hate relationship with the parking. The undercover parking didn't have space at any point during my stay, and the rows end in dead ends, so I'd need to do awkward 3 or 4 point turns to get back out which was especially difficult when other cars had come in behind me and also got stuck. On the upside it was great having plenty of overflow parking though it's not under cover.

On arrival we were faced with a time share agent in the Lobby. Even thought there is a time and place for timeshare it should not be part of your check in requirements. Apart from this we had a wonderful stay

The view from the room was excellent, we had a great view of the beach and Bribie Island. The apartment was perfect for the week and just us two. The view of the Glasshouse Mountains from the front door was also pretty spectacular. It is located close to some great places to eat, we really like Cafe 89 for a drink with a view of the sea. It is also just a few minutes away from the busier areas of Caloundra and Kings Beach.

The pool was slightly smaller than the pictures show. The activities could be included in the price you pay, which they are not unless you sign up for the club Wyndham.

As this was a 'time out' for me because my husband Garth has a terminal brain tumour and needed to sleep a lot of the time and I also didn't want to take the car out, the location was excellent for me as I could go to the pool, the shops or the beach for a short time and then come back and check on him while he was sleeping. The staff Maria, the young maintenance man who came to look at the TV and the lady who started at 5.30 on your housekeeping staff were so friendly and kind. Also one of the reception staff, a dark skinned lady had a kind listening ear as she came over and made my husband a 'hot chocolate'. She will remember.

For me the steps up to the lift could have been a disadvantage because of my arthritis but I was able to just walk up the ramp to the lifts and the lights on the steps and the water feature beside looked great.

For me, the location was ideal as I like peace and quiet and I also had a car. As I am now quite familiar with the area I know where to go to have a meal outside should I not wish to cook for myself. There are enough excellent choices. Views from the rooms are brilliant and it is pleasant walking along the water front. I am told that the fishing is excellent too although that is not my hobby. There were plenty of places to visit should you wish to do so, which are not too far distant.

Very clean, great location on the river & close to shopping village. Good view of glasshouse mountains at sunset from level 10. You can access all levels no matter which level you stay at.

We got roped into the time share torture. Got told it was only 1 hour and came with pastries & coffee. Reality was mouldy cupcakes, 1 coffee & 2 hours of crap. When the beautiful young lady at reception welcomes you with a can of cold booze & offers you an opportunity to hear more about the hotel... Just take the booze & relax by the pool!

The entrance with complimentary drinks, friendly helpful staff, the pool and slide. Our 3 bedroom room with balcony and ocean views brilliant. I also enjoyed the city lights from the upstairs room. Just amazing. We enjoyed the BBQ, kakyas, beach, Caloundra market, fishing and the sooo hot spa with a Jimmy !! Sooo recommend this resort and restaurant across entrance drive. Will be back for sure!!

No tennis rackets and ball when we wanted to play as the young girl behind desk didn't know where they were. Games room and gym closed to early for a weekend, may I suggest 10pm the same with the pool and spa for adults. Kids not allowed after 8pm maybe. Just a suggestion. Help with kayaks to beach and the wheels can be taken back then by staff. Especially if you are on your own with kids!

The view was incredible. We got a room on the corner and could overlook the whole bay. There was a very spacious balcony attached, wished we'd been able to stay longer! The pool was heated and the slide was super fun, despite being a bit frosty getting out of the water to use it, haha! The staff were also very friendly and approachable.

The beds were a bit hard, a few stains on the carpet, borrowed a DVD from the front desk that was cracked - so just make sure to check them before you take them back to the room! We had a lot of trouble with the DVD player/TV, the stars had to align turning it on, but otherwise it was fine.

I liked the position, not in the hustle and bustle of main Street Caloundra. My room had a great view, which was important for my stay. Having a Thai restaurant in the premises is a big bonus.

I stayed in room 903. My only complaint was the amount of light that came through the bathroom window from near the front door. It illuminated through to the bedroom, even with bathroom door shut. Personally, I prefer a dark room to sleep in, so some sort of covering for the small window as an option for darkness or light is my suggestion. Otherwise the room was very comfy.

We loved how family-friendly Ramada was and how close it was to the beach, great cafes, shopping centres, places to eat and how quiet it is compared to the main part of Caloundra. It's a great little place and reasonably priced, too. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a welcoming place and not pretentious at all.

The rooms are a little on the older side. But who cares? We stayed here for a family getaway, not to have some luxurious five-star holiday. For what this place was, it was perfect for bringing the kids. So, it's not that we disliked anything.
