This overall stay was Good. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment and stayed here with family (including an infant). We enjoyed the heated jacuzzi by the pool but the actual swimming pool itself was not temperature controlled and it was quite cold for us. We did not really interact with any staff at all to be honest as our key was placed in the locker for after hours check in (which was quite seamless). The apartment was really beautiful with fully functioning equipment everywhere.

We had requested for a cot for the infant which was not arranged and since we checked in after hours, we were told to check with someone in the morning. So we had to make some space on the floor for our 2 year old to sleep. (but to be honest that worked really well at the end of the day). It is not a hotel with a full fledged reception or staff walking around, so we did not spot anyone at the reception when we walked around it a couple of times. Since we stayed here for only 2 nights, we did not bother trying hard for a baby cot for the second night.

We stayed on the 8th floor in apartment 68. View out to the ocean was fantastic, the balconies are plenty big enough. Everything you needed in the apartment for cooking, it was like a home away from home but with the best view. Our apartment had three bedrooms and two bathrooms that were recently renovated. Lovely and clean. Had a great time away, we are booked to stay here again soon. The pool was amazing, so warm and perfect for our toddler.

We had a random noise coming from what we thought was drilling, turned out to be the window in the main toilet. It wasn't closed properly, Once we closed the window tight it was fine. Didn't detract from our stay at all, might help future travelers if they hear and see this post :)

The facilities were amazing, pool area was clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly, on-site parking, BBQ areas, right next to the beach, your own large balcony you really couldn't ask for anymore it's all there. I love you can walk 100m up the road and there is an IGA, coffee shops, organic store all to pick from, not to mention the delicious pastry shop.

I found some of the residents rude, I understand they own their apartment but without families like us paying upto $2,000 for 5 nights the areas won't look as nice without that extra revenue. It was a couple a little older than middle aged, lady had brown, reddish hair with a grey haired husband. They were laughing at people, bickering and commented "I can't wait until school holidays are over"... a little rude and uncomfortable..

The hotel was walking distance to shops, beach and park if you have kids. The water slide in the pool was a hit with small and big kids. One bedroom Apartment was very roomy and had a big balcony could see the pool and ocean. Indian restaurant on site if you like that food. Didn’t get to try it although it was always busy. Only opened at night times.

Love the location being quiet and so close to the beach with a little one is amazing! The pool and slide also was a winner for my toddler!

Could use a deep clean and dust of the rooms (bed head and picture frames with dust caked on) and a shame no air con in the bedroom as made sleeping very hot on 38deg days. Ac in lounge room didn’t reach through to bedroom very well but worked well to cool lounge area of apartment.

Love the Gemini been every year about 20 years, love the location. Lovely size apartments. Ladies at reception were lovely! Can see new managers are trying to clean it up a bit

Beds are getting uncomfortable and I think some things need a bit of an update. Felt like you were a bit watched by the male manager a little though. To make it a much better resort the cafe needs to be operational and serving poolside fare!

- Pool, Spa, Outdoor dining is EXCELLENT! - We stayed in Unit 14 on Level 1. Very large well stoked kitchen with modern dishwasher and microwave, large dining and lounge area. Alot of outdoor seating provided with the outdoor table. - Furniture is solid wood and heavy, perfect for a holiday unit. TV is modern and you can stream/download/connect your apps and devices to the TV. - Air conditioning in the lounge for reprieve from the extreme QLD summer heat. - Beds were very comfortable. Crisp clean sheets and plenty of pillows provided. - Modern washing machine and dryer. Well appointed additional equipment to make your stay comfortable like an extension cord, vaccum, clothes drying rack and more

- Pool dining area could do with a BBQ facility. - Unit 14 DOES NOT have air conditioning or ceiling fans in the rooms. Pedestal fans were provided which made the rooms a little bearable but still soo muggy and warm. Unit 14 bedrooms are North/East facing so the sun streamed in and made the rooms extremely hot. - Bedroom curtains were very dusty - There are not enough power sockets in the rooms. - Main bathroom has a broken Spa bath - The unit is dated and could do with a fresh lick of paint to modernise it.

The best view you could ask for! The pool was amazing with a view of the beach and a waterslide. The gardens were beautiful and so well maintained. The room was huge and the kitchen was a good size. The resort was extremely close to the beach and there is no road between so the access is easy and safe. There are restaurants, cafes and an IGA within walking distance so all meals are easily covered. The staff were very friendly.

The room was quite dated and some furniture could use replacing.

Wonderful beachfront access, spacious big room, wonderful facilities, lovely temperature pool. Lovely helpful staff. Walking distance to shops/medical centre etc.

The hotel lobby and lift were both very hot, maybe aircon be put in/turned on would be ideal. And was only 1 aircon to service our 3 bedroom unit, but after running for a couple hours it cooled down to a comfortable temperature.

Location is perfect for young families, right on the beach and close to essential shops. The pool and spa area is always clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We continue to return here year after year, as it's also good value for money.

Our only fault this visit, was the old can opener that didn't work and the lack of child-friendly cups/ bowls etc.
