We stayed at Amora Ubud in Bali for a week, and it was truly unforgettable. They made the first week of our honeymoon a dream come true, introducing us to the beauty of Balinese hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. Always kind and attentive, they helped us with every little detail, and we truly felt pampered throughout our stay. The views from our room were breathtaking – overlooking the lush, wild nature of Bali, a constant reminder of the paradise we were in. The private pool was the perfect retreat, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty and serenity of the surrounding jungle. The staff’s attention to cleanliness was remarkable; they ensured our room was spotless, coming by two or even three times a day to tidy up and make everything perfect. Breakfasts were a highlight – rich, diverse, and delicious, providing the perfect start to a day full of exploring Bali. Evenings were just as magical. Dining at both of the resort’s restaurants was a delight, with every meal crafted to perfection. Little surprises from the staff, like a complimentary cocktail or dessert, added an extra touch of warmth and made the experience even more memorable. Although we had some minor issues with the internet in our room for 2-3 days, the staff worked tirelessly to fix it. Their hospitality shone through again when they offered us, as an apology, a complimentary hour of massage for both me and my wife. We hadn’t planned to try their spa, thinking we’d experience massages at the other resorts we’d visit, but it would’ve been such a shame if we hadn’t accepted this gift. The massage was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced – the soothing scent of lemongrass, the gentle breeze, and the calming sound of rain created a truly unique and relaxing atmosphere. If you come here, don’t leave without trying the Aroma Therapy Massage. A big thank you to the entire staff and a special mention to Nita & Meli.

The only issue i had was the room gets in alot of light so you can’t sleep in if light bothers you. But it’s an exceptionally villa

Overall the resort was amazing! You have a beautiful view of the jungle. Location is good, it’s a 30min walk on the ridge with great views to the Ubud town centre. The staff is great, they are all really friendly and helpful, the service we received was exceptional! They really went above and beyond throughout our stay to make sure we had a great time there! We got a welcome drink on arrival and they also offer complimentary afternoon tea and foot massage. Food was great although we didn’t have breakfast there but we got packed lunch. They also offer many activities and extras for your stay which are perfect for a special occasion. The room/villa was big and spacious. We had a private pool which was great. One thing to keep in mind is that both private and main pool are quite deep 1.5m. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back! Also you can see fireflies there!

There was construction noise but you get that everywhere these days in Bali. Because of that both our infinity pool and the main pool had a screen on the edge for our privacy. This wasn’t ideal as we chose it because of the infinity pool but it looked okay and we’re understanding. Also you cannot get a Grab from the hotel due to the local ‘taxi mafia’. I recommend arranging a taxi with the reception. Drop off was fine for us but sometimes they might want some cash as a fee for ‘entry to the village’.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and provided impeccable service. They couldn’t do enough for you! A true highlight of our stay. The food at the birdhill restaurant was great. Breakfast offered a huge variety (contrary to what other reviews say) - I appreciate that the fruit/pastry selection is repetitive, but there was more than enough choice for the main dish and we were impressed every day. We had lunch and dinner from the Indonesian selection, it was all very tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. We did not bother with the other french restaurant on site, we can eat french food whenever we want at home or visiting France! The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the view was fabulous. You are provided with essentials like bug spray and umbrellas should you forget your own. We did have some minor issues with wifi going down and hot water was disrupted, but these issues were resolved. The massage we had at the on site spa was very relaxing, much better than others we had at other spas in ubud. There is lots of steps as the property is on a hill. Unless you have mobility issues or are incredibly unfit, it really isn’t an issue. There is a lovely little restaurant on the same road as the property, walking towards the ridge walk, opposite the minimart. This had a much wider selection of Indonesian food and is worth a visit. The ridge walk down into ubud is a pleasant short walk, 10/15 minutes to the main road, then another 5/10 minutes to the centre. There is construction going on everywhere in Bali, we barely heard any whilst at the property and it did not disrupt our stay in any way.

I recently stayed at Amora Boutique hotel with my partner for a few days. It was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with huge smiles form the friendly staff. The hotel is located in the middle of the rainforrest in Ubud. Stunning views ( huge butterlfies, squirrels and beauitful birds surronded by large forrest trees ).We received a complimentary room upgrade and we got upgraded to the villas in the hotel. They were modern designed and incredible. The villa was hige we couldnt believe it. Outdoor and indoor showers and a petal bath ready on arrival outside on the terrace. Private pool overlooking the jungle and we had complete privacy. We had all these plans to explore Ubud more and do day trips but we didnt want to leave the villa it was so nice so stayed and did activities near the hotel. There are amazing scenic walks one rice field walk if you walk out from the hotel and turn right. And one temple walk which leads to the main town in ubud when you walk out of the hotel and turn left. It takes about 30 mins to walk down to temple and villages. Stunning walk and the same back so its very easy to do shoppoing and go to other restaurants in the town,. The hotel can also organise a car for you at reception of need. We decided to do a balinese cooking lesson which was incredible which was organised by the hotel and takes part int he restaurant near the communal pool. It was incredible and you get to eat everythnig you cooked afterwards so its very great value. The food and chef were incredible. Shout out chef Moby. We also watched a show in the evening at the hotel with traditional Balinese dance. Breakfast was also included and we opted for the floating breakfast in the morning. INCREDIBLE. And to top it off you also get a complimentary foot massage too. There was a spa there but we didnt get a chance to go we were too busy having fun and exploring. I would 100 percent stay at AMORA again. I love always trying new hotels ever

Absolutely amazing hotel! I’m thrilled. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s located just 500 meters from the Campuhan Ridge Walk, making it super convenient to explore without needing any transport. The view from the room is just incredible, and the air conditioning is powerful, which was really important for me. The bed is insanely comfortable, with a choice of pillows and luxurious bedding — I slept like a baby. I’m absolutely in love with the private pool and the bathtub with a view. There are even yoga mats in the room! The selection of natural teas and a capsule coffee machine made it so easy to enjoy a hot drink anytime. The breakfast is incredible, delicious, and offers a huge variety — just like in a seven-star hotel in Dubai. The chef is simply the best of the best, making everything healthy and super tasty. As a bonus, a 15-minute foot massage is included, which was absolutely amazing. The hotel offers an early morning tour to a Balinese house and the rice terraces, which was extremely interesting — the guide was absolutely fantastic! Also, they have free yoga sessions twice a week by the pool with an incredible view. I’ve never seen a hotel that offers a photographer’s service for free! I highly recommend taking advantage of this, as the photographer is amazing and takes incredibly beautiful photos. The hotel also provides bicycles for free, and it was truly the best decision I made. Riding a bike around Ubud was wonderful — I was genuinely so happy! I recommend it to everyone. The staff and management are absolutely fantastic — so kind, polite, and helpful. I honestly didn’t want to leave this place. I came here for two nights, but now I just want to stay forever. I highly recommend this place. It’s truly the best hotel in Bali. The experience was unforgettable and absolutely incredible. I will definitely return at the first opportunity. I recommend this amazing hotel with all my heart.

Absolutely nothing.

The service is impeccable. All staff were very attentive and friendly and always out to help and do the extra mile.The Royal Villa we stayed in was perfect. Very romantic and the size was just nice for a couple getaway. Very nice touch of giving a free photo done by a professional photographer. Photos were amazing. We were given a WhatsApp number to text when we need a car to bring us back from wherever we were in Ubud and response time is almost instant. All we can say is WOW! Well done Amora! We will definitely come back and refer friends.

A bit far in to get to but having a car arranged by the staff made it a breeze.

Private infinity pool was beautiful and well maintained however there was not control of jets in the rooms itself. Had to phone reception to turn on at times. Night time service was fantastic including staff lighting mosquito coils at night. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Restaurant was fantastic although it was a bit pricey. Free inclusions such as yoga and rural walk were fantastic value add. Ala carte breakfast was amazing and can be enjoyed in your own room Overall we enjoyed our stay at Amora and would recommend.

The location is a bit far away from ubud city centre by road but it is close to a walking trail which takes about 20 mins. Not too bad but the walk was of course very hot. The street the hotel is on does not allow for pick up by grab or gojek so either private driver or ordering a taxi from the hotel is required which does add additional cost. Grab can drop you off at the hotel though. There was noisy construction going on throughout the duration of our stay, which the hotel did apologise for however there was no compensation for the noise. It looks like the hotel and entire street is undergoing major work so I would expect this to be ongoing for a while.

We enjoyed our stay in Ubud. We liked the fact that the hotel was outside the main town, in a quiet location. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. It was easy to arrange excursions. Our room was very spacious and we had our own private pool and space to sit outside. We liked the fact there was a desk to work at. We ate dinner in the hotel for two evenings of our stay. We enjoyed the food and the view over the lite pool.

We didn't really like the fact that the shower area and toilet were all part of the room and would have preferred that they had been walled off. There wasn't enough hanging space for clothes. There was no wardrobe, just a rack dividing the bedroom from the shower. There was no drawer space at all to put underwear, shorts etc. It seemed to cater for guests just staying overnight. One of us was happy with the breakfast, as they ate a cooked traditional breakfast. The other did not like the other options and would have preferred a buffet style breakfast.
