This hotel was absolutely incredible and had the perfect balance of Balinese culture and comfortability. Best location, situated outside of the main Ubud centre but close enough to walk or ride there. Motorbike hire and laundry services opposite the hotel and amazing prices! 185k IDR per day motorbike hire (£10) and 36k IDR (£2) for our laundry which was neatly folded and pressed for us. The breakfast (Look Bee Cafe) alone is *chefs kiss*. Choice of local dishes and more home comforts - even the bacon is like home! Fresh bread and fruits are delivered every morning so this is all included. We actually ate here 3 times for dinner because the food was so good - again, a mix of local food and some western too. The room was lovely, everyone gets their own little terrace area which we liked to play cards on. The room is decent sized with a fridge to pop your drinks and snacks into. Bathroom is gorgeous, semi-outdoor style and you walk on pebbles for your waterfall shower (there’s also a shower head above the bath if this isn’t your thing). Cleaned daily and towels changed regularly. The views from the pool are lovely, and we would absolutely recommend getting a spa treatment. Staff are so warm and welcoming, they are always willing to help and give you information about anything you need. Overall, this was our favourite hotel of the trip and was such a brilliant way to start it off. Thank you to all of the staff for making my first time in Asia such a wonderful experience.

Gosh, if I had to be reaaaally fussy I would say that they should close the pool area when putting raw chlorine in, as it can be harmful to sensitive skin. But honestly, you will see the chlorine for yourself so can make a decision to stay out of the pool or not.

Absolutely everything! The gorgeous setting, the lovely room and views, staff were phenomenal! Super friendly always smiling. Fantastic food at the restaurant, amazing messages at the spa. Just outstanding!

The only small thing was our room was divided only by glass doors to the adjacent room..with curtains. This was not ideal as we could hear our neighbours' voices clearly and every sound from their room. At night this is not comfortable.

We enjoyed the location and friendly staff. The resort is only few minutes ride to Ubud center. Spa service was very good. Very peaceful and serene.

We arrived late in the evening. Front desk did not inform us of what activities were available during our stay. Breakfast was hit and miss. Service was not consistent. One time we got our entire breakfast except for the coffee we ordered.

Room was exactly as described, staff were very friendly & helpful, not a far ride into town, good breakfast options, beautiful sunset over the rice fields. We read the reviews from previous customers and it seems they have improved all of the things that were common complaints. We enjoyed our stay at Bliss!

You could hear any noises from surrounding rooms (talking, moving furniture, etc) but thankfully our noisy neighbour left after our first night.

Fantastic staff, very attentive. Beautiful villa and perfectly maintained gardens and common areas. Walking distance to great restaurants.

The spa section needs a facelift; the amenities are mouldy and need replacing or deep cleaning. The rest of the property was perfect.

from our room we could hear literally everything that was happening in the room next to us. The restaurant service was very slow, we eat there twice and we waited for so long, but the food was nice and the staff very friendly and professional.

Quite frankly, everything, food was incredibly, ambience was gorgeous, spa was amazing, staff were fantastic, real amazing place.

That we eventually had to leave :(

The room was clean and nicely decorated, the pool was lovely, the spa was amazing, and the staff were helpful. Overall the stay was AMAZING and we would really recommend this property, it was a real highlight.

On one occasion we did have an issue booking a Grab because local drivers were physically stood in the driveway of Bliss blocking cars going in and shouting at any cars they didn’t recognise. Our driver had to leave. I spoke to the hotel reception and their only advice was to go with one of the drivers out there but it didn’t feel safe and I knew they would charge us more. The hotel didn’t help in the situation so we walked down the road a few hundred metres and successfully booked a Grab there. Even with this I still highly rate the hotel and loved our stay.

We stayed in the Tunjung villa for 4 nights - the villa itself is beautiful, very well furnished, spacious, and secluded from the main area. The amenities were up to standard, the pool area was stunning with rice field views yet private. The staff were attentive and polite. We booked a spa session and they were flexible enough to reschedule when we requested to make sure we could head out for dinner. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and the mood changes at night with the lit lanterns.

After the spa session, it would be a nice touch to add a healthy drink option or herbal infusion. The dinner options felt limited as not everything was available but they were able to cater for a vegetarian option on the night.

*loved the resort grounds* with the water features throughout, nice views of rice fields. Beautiful pool, overall very idyllic setting. Staff was very lovely. Spa offerings and staff were good. Good hot water in the shower.

You really have to take a taxi or scooter (which I didn't want to do) to town. The shuttle to town was 3x daily, but I found that the times offered didn't align with the things I was interested in doing (example: yoga classes are typically offered at 7 and 9, shuttle at 10). Some hotels can be reached by the ricefield walking paths to avoid the main road, however this is not one of them. Yoga room was closed. Rat in the room and I think they set traps.
