The hotel has a unbeatable setting, with lovely lush garden, wonderful pools, large, spacious and well equipped rooms. The breakfast was great with a nice selection of choices. Beside regular rice and noodles and egg selection, they prepared a “main course like” meet dish and had some fried corn small pancake like thing with was supertasty. (I read the opposite in some comment so it came as a nice surprise). The stuff was always kind and helpful.

Indeed like can be read in comments below, the hotel clearly does not make a brand new feeling, but we were 11 people and we all agreed that it is certainly does not create a run-down neglected feeling and was not disturbing at all.

The views from the hotel were spectacular, the decor of the hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. The bathroom was massive! The food at the restaurant was really good (would recommend). The staff were helpful and booked us cooking classes and taxi driver for the day.

There was a lot of ants by the pool and sun beds. The photos online suggested they did yoga at the hotel, but when we arrived they said they didn’t (maybe just when we stayed). The frogs were really noisy during the night (can’t help that). The sunbed mattress were kept out when it rained, so the next day they were soaking to lie on.

Poor breakfast selection, stale croissants, did not like the coffee. Restaurant staff during dinner time did not pay much attention to receiving my order, waiting like 10 minutes for her to come and then 30 minutes for the meal (I was the only person there at the moment). She brought the dessert before the meal which resulted in the ice cream being completely melted and pancake soggy after the meal.

Super friendly staff- you're doing great job! From the beginning helping with the bags, organized scooters. Also they kept our bags and were super responsive long after check out. You can feel the place belongs to the jungle next to it even though it's close to the ubud busy streets. There are some comments about the place can be maintained better but I think it's so close to jungle that you can't avoid a gecko in the room - you can literally feel the room or bungalow is in the jungle which is the experience. The lower pool itself is worth a visit and photo session in the sunny morning Buffet breakfast was good and also included omlett/eggs on request. Great selection of the restaurants and art galeries in the 2-5 minutes walking distance

Maybe a tea/coffe in the room would be a nice add?

The hotel area is not large but very beautiful, very green, good swimming pools. The territory is cascading, so there are a lot of steps up and down, take into account those with sore legs. The hotel restaurant served delicious food.

The only thing I didn't like. This is a hard mattress on a bed. And they didn't clean the room. I had to ask for the trash to be taken out. And a bit far from the center. For shopping you will have to take a taxi.

All of the pools are fantastic and their surrounding gardens create a great atmosphere.

The hotel has aged in the 7 years since we were last there, while still comfortable it would benefit from a little renovation. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and a great size. Breakfast needed more variation, six days of the same food became a little boring. Similarly the evening menu needs an upgrade.

The location and the views are amazing. Big property and comfortable stay. The rooms are separated and have no disturbance. Very quite place.

We had booked a family room. We were alloted room number 201, which was badly maintained. and the view was not as displayed in the pictures. On our pointing out, the hotel staff shifted us to another room 202, which was quite good and nicely maintained. However, the shifting was done from the second day only. We had a bad experience on the first day.

The rooms and beds are comfortable, toilet and tubs/showers were also commendable. I liked that I had many pool options and the view from each was great. And of course, the floating breakfast which I requested to be served at the pool near our rooms so our oldsters can have their pics taken. So happy with this choice.

I ordered dinner to be served in the room for the oldsters which I ordered together with out dine in meal. I was asked by the end of the meal if I would like the oldsters' food to be delivered to their room, by then the meal was not hot anymore. I thought it will be sent automatically once it was cooked. It might just be lost in translation....

Upon inquiry, the staff recommended the room with a view, however, the actual experience was quite the contrary. The bathroom was in a deplorable state, with a broken toilet seat, a rusty nut, and an oddly shaped bathtub that made me feel uneasy while showering. Needless to say, it was a room that I wouldn't opt for again. On the other hand, my friends' room in the gardens was breathtaking, and I can't help but feel let down that we paid the same price but didn't receive the same quality.

Some small hiccups that didn’t spoil our stay or anything, but could’ve been prevented: our door didn’t close, after 2 days of notifications, the door was “repaired” but once open would be broken again. the breakfast for us didn’t meet the standard of the hotel, very very limited choice and even the extra options that you have to pay are very basic.
