I had a pleasant stay at the Fairfield—the place was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. However, I was disappointed to see that breakfast was served with plastic plates and silverware. It’s 2024, and I think it’s time for the hotel to switch to more eco-friendly options. On a positive note, I liked their initiative to plant five trees if you opt out of room service, which is a great way to encourage sustainability. Overall, a good stay, but the plastic use definitely needs to be addressed.

What I did like was the location. It was near everything! How you guys serve delicious breakfast every morning. How (almost) everyone greets you when you walk in or leaving the hotel. Very friendly staff. The rooms were exceptionally clean. I felt safe there. Facilities overall was very nice and well worth the price. I'm definitely going to stay here every time I'm in town.

I would say the only things I didn't like is there was someone who worked the front desk in the evening who seemed a little bothered when I bought a couple of things. She didn't even greet us when we came in. She looked like she was in a bad mood. I just thought it was unprofessional but maybe she had something personal going on. The other thing I didn't like is late at night. I would hear people running in the hallway on the floor above me. I didn't want to complain.

Location,cleanliness, quiet,and affordable.

Only thing is that when I added the extra night. Receptionist stated that I need to go back on booking to add the night which was fine. But later that morning 12/22/24 I went back to receptionist which was someone in training she has swipe my card and inadvertently charged me again for the one night. I'm still trying to get a refund. I'm very disappointed and desperately want me money back.

I didn't really eat breakfast until the last day. I have gluten issues so there wasn't a lot for me to eat except scrambled eggs and sausage.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. I liked that they didn't come in and clean or change towels everyday, unless I asked.

The breakfast was just okay. I was mainly impressed with the layout of the room. Spacious bathroom, shower, modern set up.

Room 304. Our toilet was running all night and our phone did not work. Upon reporting this to the front desk, we were asked to move rooms. This was around midnight. So my family and I had to pack up our belongings to switch rooms. We were not even compensated for the inconvenience.

The location is awesome. There's parking and plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Even the hotel guests were nice.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Great breakfast options! Room was clean and the bathroom upgrade was beautiful. The location was 15 mins away from the Pontchartrain Convention & Civic Center which we had a competition at and there were tons of food options near the hotel. Great experience and will be booking again next year.

This is a well kept property that is clean with very comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast is typical for this type of hotel. Hotels in the French Quarter are much more expensive and charge an additional $45/night for parking so staying 15 min out gets a much better hotel rate rate, newer facilities and free parking. We used Uber @ $20.00 a trip to the French Quarter.

The location is uninspiring but in a safe location.

The staff was wonderful and so was the facility. Just wish they had a restaurant for lunch or dinner. However, there are many in the area. Close to much. Enjoyed my stay I extended it by two days.

The only thing I didn’t like was no restaurant for lunch or dinner but I understood.

amazing breakfast lady, wish I knew her name. she worked Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. excellent food. comfortable beds. great gym. checkin staff was always welcoming during our 4 days of coming and going through the lobby.

room service made us change our own sheets because she didn’t speak English and couldn’t understand the translator app.
