It’s essentially a glorified motel, but the rooms are comfortable and impeccably clean, with good quality modern furniture and a sumptuous comfy bed. Breakfast was free and whilst not brilliant…. well, as I say it was free. The reception staff were all pleasant and helpful.

Making customers pay extra for more reliable wifi is frankly demeaning to Hilton’s reputation in an age when even cheap places worldwide manage a good, free service. Fir what it was, it was expensive.

This was our first time staying in a hotel in the NOLA area (usually we stay with family). The location of this hotel is spot on—for family visits and for tourists. Granted, it is not downtown but access to Earhart Expressway (which leads into the downtown area) is very quick and easy. Again, we have family throughout the New Orleans area so this location was centralized, more or less, for us.

Nothing comes to mind. The place is extremely clean and the front desk staff very friendly.

The hotel is beautiful! The bed was ver comfortable and the room was spacious with nice updated furniture and clean bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and the staff that tried to help me with locating my cell phone charger were delightful.

The pool is outside! I’ve never been to a Hampton Inn with an out door pool in the back of the hotel. you had to walk outside of the hotel to access it as well. I ended up not using it because it just felt weird walking in the back of the parking lot to get to the pool gate. Also after I checked out I realized I left my phone charger. I hadn’t been gone an hour and when I returned housekeeping was cleaning and the charger was nowhere to be found.

The property was very clean and up-to-date. The staff was extremely friendly and informative. Initially our remote did not work they replaced the remote immediately. Everyone was extremely attentive and eager to serve. I really liked that Elmwood was self contained.

I did not like having to drive that distance to get to the inner city, but I loved the airport access without having to go through the city.

Breakfast was above average for similar properties. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Though far from downtown New Orleans, this was the closest available hotel with 2 rooms available at a tolerable price for St. Patrick's Day.

No complaints.

Very convenient location for the nearby wedding reception venues (which is why we were there). Otherwise, out of the way and inconvenient spot for either downtown NOLA or the airport. Comfortable and well-kept hotel with friendly staff, though the price seemed high for what it was - maybe due to the lack of competition around.

Breakfast was fine if uninspired and SO MUCH PLASTIC WASTE.

Very friendly staff and nice rooms. No issues at all and will return in the future.

This place was comfortable and convenient to stores around the area. The front desk clerk was so amazing her name is Kara Smith she was very nice and professional please give her a raise.

when taking a shower the hot water stopped . we had to finish showering with cold water . then find out boiler went out .. the remote was not working . asked for new batteries and it was still not working . had to change channels at TV and keep getting up to do so .
