The location is absolutely perfect. The office lady was the sweetest thing. Great pool.

I thought I'd booked the studio apartment,but didn't get the one I chose from the picture. The one I stayed in doesn't seem to be in the photos. Although room 151 was a nice room it wasn't the one I thought I was getting for the money we spent. Other than that we loved our stay.Ive given the web site and many reviews to my friends.I suggested they stay at the property .

Our room was perfect for a private get-away for two. We loved that it also had a small kitchen for us to make simple meals in. There was an absolutely beautiful view of the water from the back patio, and a great restaurant on the premises as well! Very close to the beach and various other activities.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but not uncomfortable. We are used to a softer mattress, and found ourselves tossing and turning a bit. Otherwise, we had no complaints.

Spotlessly clean, obviously newly renovated due to the hurricane but hats off to them for being up and running , beach a few hundred yards away , beds and pillows super comfy .

As one side is on the road it was a bit noisy at times , but wouldn’t put me off going again .

Absolutely perfect location! 5 min walk from the beach and the suite was super comfortable and stocked with everything we needed.The staff was welcoming and very accommodating! We will definitely be returning ~Farah and Shaun Lally

I was told we hadn’t paid on arrival. lady was rude even when I showed the payment on my credit card. she told me I had to pay again and sort it out with management the next day. not what you need after a 9 hour flight and a 4 hour drive. The manager was lovely the next morning and explained what had happened. bookings.com pay on your arrival with a virtual credit card. glad she sorted it out and we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Location is great. Room was very clean and set up well. Pool was great and on site restaurant was very good. Staff was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located to downtown, the beach and the bay. The pool was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating

on the water, pool, restaurant with plenty of outside seating, docking a boat and picking up passengers from restaurant dock.

no housekeeping unless requested in person, ie. am coffee, towels, make your own bed. but none of that was announced at time of booking or check in. air conditioner needed servicing. but wall fan terrific lots of street noise due to construction. lots of empty rooms facing quiet water, so upgrade would have been reasonable and much quieter stay.

Well,after my flight got cancelled because of tropical storm moving through the area and my vacation ruined that I was waiting 6 months to go on,they were nice enough to refund my deposit,will definitely try them again at a later time

Location was perfect walking distance to the downtown and surrounding areas. Pool was clean and inviting. Not a loud party place like others in the neighborhood.

Construction was going on outside the property but that wasn’t the fault of Matanza’s. The drain in the shower didn’t drain and I notified the front desk. Hot tub heater was not working but a sign was out saying they were working on it.
