Such a comfortable and relaxing place, a converted rural building in the grounds of Wraxall Farm. The bedroom is a feast for the eyes. Plenty of hot water in the elegant bathroom fitted with both shower and large, luxurious bath tub. Excellent breakfasts in the ancient, beamed and beautifully furnished valley farmhouse across the road and narrow crystal clear stream. Hostess Judy does an excellent job. Mapperton House, Beaminster, Cooney's Castle for the bluebells, Bridport, West Bay....some of the easily reached delights of the area....plus those great meals in country pubs and the rolling green hills of West Dorset.

The place was very much to our liking...so nothing at all.

Everything Judy was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were amazing. Our room was spotless with additional touches of a home made cake on our arrival , fresh milk for the tea and coffee and lovely biscuits, which made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect for trips to the lovely Dorset coast and a peaceful, quiet haven to return to after a busy day. We will be back!!!

the was nothing to dislike at all

A beautiful stay in a lovely place. Fantastic host, so friendly and welcoming. Super breakfast . Great attention to detail. Perfect for the dog with a secure garden. Even down to the provision of a fridge, milk, biscuits, bottled water, and the usual tea and coffee, and homemade carrot cake, there's a real personal touch.

ROOM - Comfy, clean & warm. Very well supplied with teas, snacks (homemade cake) & toiletries. Lovely shower. Beautiful garden. HOST - Judy’s breakfasts are the best I’ve ever had. They are delicious, plentiful and she makes you feel incredibly welcome.

Nothing.

Breakfasts were a real treat. Excellent food and service. Lovely sitting in the bay with the garden view. Enclosed garden for the dog .

No need for TV but it was impossible to operate. Printed instructions would have helped. Satnav worked to find location, although we were warned it was inaccurate.

Beautifully presented in a lovely rural setting. Quiet and peaceful, a well equipped bedroom and a really excellent breakfast with a lot of home made additions and a charming host.

We loved the quirkiness of the room. Lovely in good weather, but the lack of natural light could be a problem in the rain.

Even though I arrived much later than I expected, Judy welcomed me and made sure I was safe and settled into my amazing room. Just like the host, my stay was full of charm, warmth and character in a beautiful area. Although I was there staying with work, I hope to return for a few days on retreat. Breakfast was excellent - cooked to order. Fantastic quality, homemade bread toasted and the most delicious homemade granola! As a lone traveller, I couldn't have felt safer or more comfortable. An absolutely exceptional stay - thank you Judy!

It was absolutely perfect - nothing at all to dislike.

What a beautiful place to stay. It was absolutely perfect. A very comfortable and cosy room with a small fridge with fresh milk in. Something you rarely find these days. The tea and coffee were also of excellent quality. Clipper organic Earl Grey, breakfast tea and also Pukka teas for the caffeine free. Similarly lovely coffee. Even a teapot and leaf tea if you like that. The room has a very comfortable bed and is in a very quiet location with outside space to sit if you wish. A lovely bathroom with bath and shower, towel rail heated as it's getting a little chilly now in the mornings and evening. Judy is the most lovely host and nothing is too much trouble. I feasted like a Lord at breakfast with homemade muesli, fresh yogurt with passion fruit, blackberries, blueberries and freshly cooked plums. There were also various cereals too. This was before the delicious cooked breakfast of local fare. Dorchester sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushroom and toast with butter in abundance. All washed down with freshy made coffee in a cafetiere. Thank Judy for making a little haven of peace and tranquility that I definitely needed. I very much look forward to returning and meeting you again.

I could fault nothing, even if I tried.

The one double bedroom and one bathroom accommodation was set in one’s own private little garden area with deckchairs, bench and table for outdoor leisure. The host, Judy, was charming, extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble, she is a lovely lady who presented us with the most delicious, perfectly cooked breakfast on both days. The choice was superb, it included delicious yoghurts, compote, mixed berries and home made granola. We would readily recommend a stay at this peaceful, very well appointed accommodation and would always seek to stay here first when looking for somewhere to stay in this area of Dorset. Thank you Judy and Tony.

Nothing.
