My partner & I stayed at the Outbuildings for 3 nights over New Years Eve. Met at the door and given the keys along with a full welcome to the Outbuildings.....and a lovely fruit cake. The weather was absolutely awful, which was great. This meant we didn't feel guilty about not leaving the wonderfully cosy accommodation at the The Farrows. The log burner on, belly full after one of the lovely homemade & delivered dinners & a Gin & Tonic all ordered easily by text. We settled down and watched the fireworks on the tv bring in the New Year. We felt that the outbuildings have thought of everything & we are looking forward to returning in March.

We had to come home back to reality after being in a secluded and cosy bubble.

It is an amazing small farm based hotel. The quality of the decor, buildings and set up is outstanding. It is very cool, hip and trendy and the fact you can mix some self catering with the convenience of hotel quality food and drinks is brilliant. The hosts were first class.

Only thing that could be better would be a larger size bed as it was a standard double and would like a king or queen for the price. But the rest of the stay and quality more than made up for that. We will return!

we loved the rustic look and feel of the whole place. we stayed in the cider room which was large and spacious and had everything we could think of. loved the courtyard area and fire pit to relax and have a drink while the sun set. staff were fantastic and just a text away at (seemingly) all times.

there’s a small bit of road noise when you are out of the room (none when in with windows shut). our car was parked right outside the room which is nice BUT that’s what you look at if you are on the veranda. if we had stayed longer it may be nice to have somewhere else to park (that may be an option - didn’t ask). very small issues and not really things we didn’t like!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, we loved the text for a tipple service! Our stay at the outbuildings was exceptional, the rooms were beautifully decorated with all the equipment you needed for a weekend stay including the most lovely shampoos and soaps that they sell on site. We opted for the hot tub and cinema room experience and they did not disappoint.

Excellent family run business that welcomes you with open arms, made to feel comfortable from the outset Idyllic, quiet location in the countryside Very pretty room (Farrow), just across from the barn where there's a lovely bar & courtyard where we enjoyed a lovely alfresco evening meal and bottle of wine Will definitely return

It is the perfect countryside retreat with added luxury! We loved the room and toiletries that were in the room so much that we purchased some on our departure. The Cart Shed is also a lovely touch where they serve delicious cocktails.

Nothing - It really was a great staycation and we would happily return!

parking space right outside . Grounds were full of flowers and well kept . A nice sense of privacy . Room was spotless and well stocked with products . Thank you to the gardener for supplying fresh chives for our scrambled eggs 😍

wish we could have booked the hot tub

It was unique, styled really well and everything was good quality and premium brands. Loved the option to order a breakfast hamper and cheeseboard for our arrival. Good communication with staff before and during our stay.

I found the road noisy. I Nespresso coffee machine may have been nice although a cafetier was provided.

The attention to detail in the design and friendliness of staff was second to none. Highly recommend. Felt like a home away from home.

That i only stayed two nights.

Staff were helpful and kind, the room was comfortable and furnished well. We recommend the dinner and breakfast they were delicious
