The hotel room & front desk/housekeeping were very nice & attentive. Free parking & wifi a bonus.

The Garden breakfast buffet could have had a better & greater selection of food option. The Saturday morning we showed up at 9:45am and we're told by the hostess that the wait staff was a bit overwhelmed & it would be like a 15-20 min wait. The couple ahead of us, and my 3 person family echoed that we were all getting the buffet so there would be minimal if anything for waitstaff to do. The restaurant had at that moment 6 tables already eating. They had 2 wait staff & a table cleaner, in addition to what appeared to be 2 hostesses. The couple ended up walking out.

N/a.. no breakfast. The hotel is very nice; warm fire was roaring in the lobby. The shuttle driver was very nice to drive me to the airport so I could rent a car. The restaurant was handy, food was very good for an early dinner and watching football. Restaurant staff was very nice. They have a cute little gift shop with Penn State gear and snacks. The room was basic but warm and clean. Hotel was quiet. The pool is very nice; I did not use the exercise room. I out dstay here again, just know that the airport shuttle doesn’t leave until 7:00 am.

The reason I booked this hotel was because they advertise an airport shuttle.. come to find out they don’t start the shuttle until 7:00 am.. so since I was leaving for the airport at 4:00am there was no way to get there.. so I ended up going to the airport and renting a car for the night so I could get to the airport. This was very disappointing.

I wasn’t able to have a late check out- I was surprised since I never ask. It was because my son had to stay outside in my car while we were at a Penn State sorority event(he was last minute to surprise his sister). Not a big deal, but even an hour extra would have made a difference. The lobby was filled with people, so he stayed in a cold car. Last- the hotel is hard to navigate, I’m in Architecture & still got lost! Need softer pillows- honestly, my husband said his neck killed. I brought my own pillow so I was great!

Great location close to highway and a few miles from campus, lovely big fireplace in lobby, well laid out reasonably spacious room, very nice bed linens and comfortable bed! The gym and pool were decent. I like that there is a restaurant right there on property although I did not try it. Price was great (Easter weekend)

The carpets and ceilings could use some updating (a little grungy but not too bad) other than that the room was perfect. Nothing fancy but a good value overall. It would have been nice if front desk mentioned the restaurant, as I didn’t know it was there on the property . (Not visible from front)

Loved the size of counter in bathroom. It allowed for the two of us to get ready at the same time. The staff was very accommodating when I went to report that the ventilation system in our room was not working properly. Initially they said they would send maintenance up right away. But since it was almost 10pm and had just checked in. We were tired. And when asked if we could have a different room, they quickly our room without any hassle,

Ice machine on our floor didn’t work. Not a huge deal…..just went to the next floor

The location was perfect. We went to a concert at the Bryce Jordan Center on the campus of Penn State University the hotel shuttle delivered us right to the door. I can’t say enough about our shuttle driver, Charlie. He was informative and concerned about the well being of everyone on the shuttle. The room was clean and comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was on point.

While the room had everything we needed, it was a little run down looking.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. There was a courtesy van to take you into and from State College. I liked the outside facilities as well to sit and enjoy nature.

It was very expensive to stay for one night. The rooms need to be updated. They were very clean but they were outdated. The channel selection for TV seemed to be over the air channels only.

The location was good but many other hotels were closer to PSU. But plenty of parking and the restaurant was great . The room was huge . It’s a shame they jack the price up so much during PSU move in day . Families already spend so much moving their kids there and $550 for one night is outrageous but families hands are tied because so many need to stay overnight. The price otherwise for this hotel ranges from $157-$190 so the price gouge is terrible

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, Exceptionally clean room - the Lysol wipes were a nice touch, Beautiful grounds surround the hotel, Close and convenient to campus and downtown, Delicious breakfast buffet with an incredibly nice server (Mina), We also loved the balloons and other little extra touches celebrating the 2022 Grads!

We found the mattress in our room a bit uncomfortable for 2 people, kind of spongy and it sank a bit in the middle - otherwise a great stay, thank you!

The Gardens could have accommodated guests who awoke later in the morning so they could get something to eat before leaving. We left at 10:30 am and could have used something to eat before we left; however, neither the Gardens or Legends were open. A continental breakfast set up with packaged items would have been appreciated. My friend suffers from diabetes and is required to eat as soon as possible after awakening.
