Room decor was really fun, appreciated the effort they went to to make it not look like a generic hotel room. Room was comfortable, and I loved that they had a top sheet, not just a heavy duvet - which is always too hot at night. Location was excellent, close to the train station and a few blocks away from a lot of bars and restaurants along the canal. Narbonne was interesting and we could have spent a second night there.

Maybe provide creamers for the in-room coffee maker and have shampoo dispenser in the shower rather than plastic packets? No real complaints.

The rooms are big and spacious. It is very clean, comfortable, large size bed, nice pillows, huge shower with multiple water outlets, everything was great. If you get there before 19:00 you are received by the host, who was very friendly and kind to give us a lot of information about Narbonne. The decor is very lavish (not our usual taste), but giving the historic nature of the building and how it has been preserved and renovated it fits very will and makes you feel like royalty. There is onsite private parking for 8 Euros a day, which is reasonable, and we could use it until 15:00 of the next day, which was awesome. The location is also fantastic, since you leave the car there and everything is a short walking distance from there.

The room is so big, that the TV was a bit far for my aging sight :), but we do not watch TV anyway, so I am just nitpicking here, the place is great, you will not regret staying here.

The room decor was gorgeous. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Our host was very welcoming. Showed us around the old Chapel and Tower. Location was perfect, very peaceful

The shower / jacuzzi was difficult to get in and out of. A walk in shower would have been perfect. There was no where to put toiletries in the bathroom It was advertised as an apartment but had no kitchen facilities, only a kettle and a fridge which didn't work.

VERY unique property. A work of love ( and many euro) by the owner who is restoring an historic property. Beautifully outfitted, over the top decor in our room (but elegant certainly , not cheaply done) . Fantastic staff who provide very genuine welcome. Very comfortable bed. The room awaits the return of the Bourbons, so get there first! Excellent patisserie with seating just 2 minutes walk away for breakfast. Great city for exploring.

A tip, not a problem. If arriving by car, check your email just before arriving to learn the key code to punch in on arrival to allow your car in. Massive green wooden courtyard doors on your right while driving down a narrow laneway. PARKING is available, spacious and inexpensive . Dont even try parking in the city…its for walking!

Parking in courtyard was excellent, met by hostess who gave us a tour inside and the history of the building. The room was breath-taking, the best accommodation used on this vacation and we've found fantastic places but not quite like this. There were lovely treats, a decent size fridge, mega size exquisite shower room/full size jacuzzi that was most welcome to use after a long drive. A climb the next day to top of the tower, very interesting building and memorable stay.

An arrangement for breakfast was available at a small Patisserie 2minutes away, in our opinion, poor.

Delightfully over the top Royal Suite Louis XIV four poster bedroom meets hi-tech Joe 90 bathroom. Staying here helps to support a lifetime labour of love by Mr Martin in restoring an extensive complex of city centre convent buildings. Definitely worth the experience.

Parking in the secure courtyard was quite tight; no breakfast at the property but never mind because there is an arrangement for guests to get a good value breakfast at a nearby cafe

Everything! Ideal location with parking. Sumptuous decor. The room is luxurious. It’s a very special place to stay. The cost is also very reasonable.

Nothing! Our only thought was that a small table in the bathroom would have been preferable for bathroom items, rather than only having the floor as an option.

Exceptional room with extremely nice in-room spa. Location full of charm, majestic old doors, parking inside the patio. Beautiful reception area in the making. Location very close to all interesting place in Narbonne. City center but very quiet. They are still investing even further into the building.

For perfection: Wifi still needs some improvement, maybe a table in the bathroom for the toiletries and could be nice to have ability to charge a car in the patio.

One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. You feel like royalty. An exceptional building restored with love and care. In the centre but away from it all behind big gated. everything you need for comfort. A wonderful welcome from the hosts and good recommendations. Cannot fault.

This place exceeded our expectations and we had a great stay - will definitely stay here again. Everything in out room was done very well. The host that meet us was great & very informative.

They also have a deal with a local bakery for breakfast - however the bakery were a bit confused and didn't't have all the items for a petit dejuner. You don't have to eat here though but the food we had was good.
