The location was great. Close enough to downtown to walk to dinner in the evenings. Also has two wonderful breakfast restaurants within a block...Egg River Cafe and Kickstand Cafe. Both had amazing breakfast options. The owner was very nice and put us in a ground floor room with our dog, which was very convenient.

We were slightly disappointed that the spa was not working. The pictures of the lodge showed a sign that said Spa, and pictures of the pool area showed a spa. However, it was not operational. I must say that the listing on booking.com did not indicate that there was an operational spa.

Great location. Liked that it was not in town center, more quiet and easy to drive in and out. Glad it had a refrigerator, microwave and decent sized coffee pot.

Would have preferred a table and/ or desk and chairs in the room. Only had a couch besides the bed. Bathroom swing door made it awkward to get to light switches, but looked cool. Office not always open, so would have preferred to have extra coffee packets and toilet paper in the room.

Convenient location, about 10-15 minutes' walk from downtown Hood River. Room was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable and had what we needed (bed, bathroom with tub/ and a decent over-the- tub shower, fridge and microwave). The person at check in was friendly and able to help with an issue with light bulbs (they'd come loose, but easily fixed). Not there long enough to take advantage of pool/tub. Worked well for an overnight stay.

Minor quibble was that the door to the bathroom was a sliding stable-style door and covered the light switches when open, so slightly awkward - would have been better if the switches were to the left of the door.

The location was good. The entrance and exit to the parking area is a little challenging if you meet a car coming in or leaving but it was doable. The room is recently renovated and they finishing touches were yet to come. Newly painted walls and fresh carpet on the stairs were evident. The room was very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Not all rooms were occupied due to remodeling so our stay was very quiet. We weren't told of any breakfast, however, there was a fantastic cafe next door we wanted to try so we were happy.

The television was brand new and very hard to navigate. Very little to watch and if there was cable for local channels we were unable to figure out how to use. Glad we brought a book to read.

Great location & very comfortable. This was our second stay in a week. The first stay was great. The second stay was a really nice room.

Although our room #32 seemed to be newly remodeled, there were some issues with the plumbing - the toilet ran constantly unless the flush handle was forcibly lifted up, the sink faucet handles cold & hot were reversed & very loose, the shower faucet handle is loose & the shower faucet drips constantly. The people in the room above us stomped on the ceiling & constantly moved chairs or furniture on the balcony until after 11:00pm. We had to call the office to ask them to call the upstairs room to quiet them down so we could sleep.

I was traveling alone with my 3 little Yorkies and was very grateful they allowed us to stay the night. The staff placed me in a room that was on the lower level close to the pet area which was truly appreciated and made it convenient for me to take the dogs out. Thank you to the lady that booked me in that night and I will definitely come back.

Riveriew Lodge's location was very good. I chose Riverview because it is dog friendly. There were two wonderful restaurants nearby that were also dog friendly. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and was very adequate for three humans and our pup. We were in Hood River for a wedding and, unfortunately, didn't have time to use the indoor pool. Next time.

The bathroom is a little small (not really a huge problem).

The room was wonderful, clean, and updated with modern decor. There was a smart TV in the room and two very comfortable queen beds. Microwave, coffee maker, pristine bathroom, and overall a wonderful stay.

I wish the hot tub would have been operational, as that was part of the reason I booked this particular facility. Looks like it has been out of order for a few months, too.

Super clean, felt very safe and comfortable. Staff was great. This is a great little motel to travel and stay over. Fresh paint and doing some remodeling. Good for our dogs too with a nice open grassy area. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it.

It was weird we couldn't walk into the office. Our first room had a broken TV and we had to move. We were bummed the second TV wasn't a smart tv like the first one appeared to be. Wifi weirdly doesn't work for iPads, only our Android devices.

This is a nice motel located within a block or two of several nice restaurants. The management was responsive to our needs and took great care of the property. The gardening in public spaces was well done.

There was nothing not to like. We will stay here again on our next visit to Hood River.
