The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff very friendly. Very cozy atmosphere. The property is in good shape, which is an improvement since my last visit. Friendly, helpful check-in.

If only they could make it snow. One thing that could be improved is that the housekeeping staff were meeting/hanging out, chatting right outside our room a lot of the time. There are windows that look out into the hallway where they hang out that let light in. I didn't want to close the blinds because it was the only natural light, but it didn't feel very private to have the staff outside our room so much of the time. Perhaps there is a need for a staff lounge?

Beautifully located lodge-style rooms close to Mount Hood. Rooms were very clean and spacious and there was an onsite bar and restaurant. Check-in was friendly and welcoming.

Nothing really. The only disappointment was that the restaurant and bar were closed for the majority of our stay. A combination of a heatwave and staffing issues meant that we had to source food from a local store; however, the reception provided utensils and plates.

The resort is located in a secluded forest area and is beautiful. There is no public gathering place, such as a lobby to meet with friends. The room is very large and well furnished. We used one of the hot tubs. We found the cover difficult to remove and replace. The water temperature was perfect. A breakfast basket was provided due to the restaurant being closed on Tuesdays.

Th only real problem we had was the lighting. As older people, we do not see as well as we used to and the lighting in very dim. We wish the restaurant had been open, but we knew it was closed on Tuesdays before our stay, so we had no complaint. We wish there had been less expensive dinner choices. We ate a dinner of apple turnovers and bananas that were provided in the breakfast basket because we were too tired to drive to town for dinner. We couldn't figure out how to bring up any channels on the TV, but we didn't bother to ask for help, so if we had, someone would, most likely, have assisted us.

Friendly and helpful staff with nice and clean environment. It has basketball court and some games for activities.

Front desk staff said no housekeeping except when requested but I got housekeeping knocking on my door in the morning. Also, it was very noisy one early morning from upstairs. I stayed at the ground level. Better insulation or room cleaning later in the morning would be nice.

It is a great location if you want to do outdoor activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, or mountain biking. There is a restaurant on site with a full bar. The interiors of the rooms have a log cabin charm. I was upgraded to a condo unit with fireplace and kitchen, two bedrooms down and a spiral stairs up to a loft with four more single beds!

It is maybe ten miles to another dining option.

Lovely condominium which was fully equipped and of a high standard. Beautifully quiet as well and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely fluffy white towels. The staff were lovely and helpful. The food at the restaurant was 1st class! Beautifully cooked steak and I loved the kugel.

The log cabin was beautiful! Location is great! Hiking on the beautiful ski slope is not far from the lodge. 40 min drive to Trillium Lake for hiking, fishing and photographing the majestic Mount Hood! great staff. Special thanks to Manager Ivonne (sp?) to offer this opportunity for us to enjoy the log cabin with our dog!

The environment was nice and clean rooms. The staff when available were very helpful. No problem with parking.

Short office hours at night and my room insulation not good. It was really noisy above my rooms one early morning. Not sure if it was people moving out with heavy footsteps and/or housekeeping.

Open grounds, rustic comfortable rooms, crooked tree tavern, access to Mount Hood, friendly staff

Lower level lodge room was a bit dark, with other guests frequently walking in front through the outdoor access hall. Practical for winter but not ideal for summer

Staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful! A day before arrival I had an issue which the management resolved very promptly. Communication was always kind and respectful!

my only complain is the temperature of the water in the spa - it was a bit chill (below 100). The second spa was warmer but busy. I feel like if they could add a third or fix the other one (if it is broken? I don't know if the low temperature was intentional or not).
