Location is perfect, close to main highways, airport, and stores/food. Fitness center and laundry room are great additions. Complimentary breakfast is sufficient with large dining room. Beds were very comfortable. Wifi was strong. Free parking is great.

On booking.com I made sure to pay for a room with complimentary breakfast, however this wasn’t necessary since everyone in the hotel gets complimentary breakfast. I would have preferred to reserve a two queen bed room instead of one king bed room, but the two queen bed on booking.com said that it did not include free breakfast, yet complimentary breakfast should be included with all the rooms since the hotel advertises a complimentary breakfast for all.

Breakfast was adequate and plentiful. Our room near the end of the 7th floor was quiet and much appreciated. The overall ambience and parking was satisfactory. The excellent view from our room gave us a good idea of the weather and conditions to expect if we were to wander about.

Breakfast area was too crowded for most of the mornings when the location was shifted to the back area from the ballroom/convention area. It was too hard to find seating at times. Breakfast was a bit repetitive. The staff had a hard time keeping up the breakfast supplies with the crowd coming in constantly.

We enjoyed the hotel, was there for a couple of days and liked the free breakfast. The hotel had a gym, a laundry room and a restaurant. We did enjoy a few meals from the restaurant.

The breakfast was the same thing each day except for the meat, and if you didn't get to breakfast until late the section of items were almost gone or gone. No waffles or pancakes like all the other hotels offers.

Breakfast was good. Would be nice to offer coffee in advance of breakfast hours for those of us visiting from a different time zone. Fresh fruit would also be appreciated.

We stayed here upon arrival in Alaska, left to go mushing then returned. First check-in at 2am was friendly and fast. The second check-in took an extraordinarily long time, requesting to see IDs etc. Also we had to leave at 4am to catch a plane so were not able to partake in the breakfast. Some fruit, granola bars, or really anything to travel with would have been appreciated!

Clean place, had house keeping every day, very pleasant and helpful staff members (front desk).

1. The breakfast restaurant kitchen was closed for renovation but never been communicated to us at the time of booking. Or even before we showed up at the hotel. They had ready made cold breakfast option though. 2. The cold breakfast could have been better. There was just some packed pastries, oatmeal, corn flakes and fruits. No bread/bagel/butter/jelly and toaster available.

The staff was extremely helpful with providing a wheelchair when we needed it. Also, not only did they extend our checkout time due to a Dr.s appointment we had, but were able to extend it a second time when our appointment ran late. Everyone was kind and patient which can be so important to a patron when they are tired and very stressed.

I booked a handicapped room on first floor or very close to the elevator on any other floors. Room wasn't a handicap room and we were placed on the 7th floor (there WERE elevators) but clear to the other end of the hall. Didn't make too much sense but I DID sleep well.

Laundry area was clean. The afternoon staff was nice.

Plumbing and heater in room. The toilet you had to jiggle handle, the tub didn't drain after my shower with out me holding the stopper down. The toilet paper roll holder kept falling off. It was hard to get the room warm with the heater in the room and I was not sure how to use it . I could not open the curtains to let the sun in due to the heater not keeping the room warm if they opened.

Great hot breakfast, big comfortable rooms, helpful friendly staff. Appreciated two comfortable chairs and desk with chair.

Only problem is there was something wrong with cable feed on TV overheard another guest describing problem at the desk). Presumably this will be fixed, but sorry to miss the State of the Union speech.

When I first checked in, they reliquated me to the old and damp portion of the hotel, I think they called it the north tower. The room was run down, cramped, and dark. It also only had one bed, though I'd booked 2 queens. I had to drag all my stuff back to the front desk, where it took awhile to get rebooked into a better room. The next room was a lot better. However, when I checked out, they charged me about $90 more than I was quoted from booking.com. It took a LONG time to get it resolved, but it finally did, and the woman helping me to resolve it at the front desk was really nice about it. It is located downtown, but it's still a bit of a walk to any restaurants or shops. Also, there is a constant stream of tour buses bringing big groups of tourists in every hour or so. If I came back to Fairbanks, I'd probably try to book somewhere else first.

The facilities were nice, we had a great view and it did overall exceed expectations for a 3 star hotel. Our bed was very comfortable and despite not being able to take advantage of the services like complementary breakfast and the on-site restaurant and bar, it was nice that they were offered.

We had a pretty good experience, but the one thing that could have been better is the service. Despite being the only ones in the lobby, we had to wait almost 20 minutes until someone was available to check us in. It seemed like very bare-bones staff, perhaps due to the fact that it was the off season, so I don't have complaints with the staff themselves.
