I did like the individual bungalows. That was really nice.

When I asked to extend my stay from 1 night to 2 nights the desk clerk didn't look to see if there was any availability. It was assumed that they were full and I was told as much. I looked online and there were rooms available. I booked it and came right back to make the arrangements to prevent changing bungalows. I just feel like a real attempt at customer service would have involved looking to see if they were actually full for the next night. Instead, I was forced to do their job.

Breakfast was offered at a decent price, the room was huge and entire hotel was extremely clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating at all hours of the day/night. Airport shuttle was included, and this place was somehow one of the cheapest places to stay in Fairbanks (late Sept, last minute booking).

A little far from stuff, but not a big deal as they have a shuttle service that will take you where you want to go, and there is a Fred Mayer's (grocery store) slightly less than a mile's walk from the hotel.

We really liked the shuttle. It took us places we enjoyed. It was terrific. We liked the river and seeing boats go by. We enjoyed the grill and the live music. Other times at the grill we would go and sit outside and watch the boats while having a beer.

We would have liked to have been in a cottage with the patio facing the river. We took our patio chairs to the river which was relaxing, then hauled them back. The room was nice but there was a fish hook stuck in the carpet at the foot of the bed nearest the bathroom. We put a piece of paper over it so we wouldn’t step on it. The breakfasts were good with options: hot fare, oatmeal, yogurt, and room temperature pastries and muffins. We did think it was too pricey. It could be the norm though. Breakfast was better if you got there early.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. This is the advantage of having separate cottages for each group. We look for opportunities to stay there when we see availability and price dips.

Payment through Booking was not ideal. This was a business booking and we had to go through a credit card authorization process to make it so that employees did not have to pay for the room and wait for reimbursement.

Had a cottage with river view. Walking trail just outside the back door. It was a peaceful area for the most part. Some noise from boats and traffic if you were sitting outside. Some wildlife to watch.

Found nothing really unlikable about it. Though there are no onsite places for breakfast and lunch, there were places close by to either order from and have delivered or take a shuttle/taxi to if you don't have a car.

Very well maintained. We upgraded to a river view cabin which was well worth it. Nice patio with table and chairs, the calming river and walking trail right out the door. We were not with a tour group and had no car but the shuttle bus driver happily took us to Pikes Landing for lunch and dropped me off at Fred Myers to do some shopping and then I walked back (less than a mile). Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast was pricey so we went to Fred Myers and bought stuff to enjoy in the morning on our patio.

There was no elevator to transport our luggage to the second floor but the front desk staff graciously helped with our suitcases. Very good green shuttle service to Museum of the North and to the Fairbanks Airport. Chena Restaurant was GREAT. The best meal of our whole trip. Had lavender infused halibut. Wow.

River walk wasn't much. Just seemed like a grassy path in front of the cottages.

It was very clean and comfortable. I loved the view of the river. As it was a stand-alone unit, it was very quiet. It was unfortunately raining, so sitting outside was not an option.

The neighborhood nearby looked kind of sketchy, and I was concerned until I pulled into the complex. I realize that you can't do anything about that.

Price and ease of checking. The ac in the room was amazing specially since that was a hot night! I also appreciated the privacy and free parking amenities.

Slow internet connection and the timer in the bathroom kept shutting off the lights. I had to call for extra towels since the room only provides 3 and we checked in as a group of 4.

The location cannot be beat. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. it is convenient meal service nearby. it is nice to have a well stocked cafeteria with high-quality items. Will you the peaceful ones of the river. I have this is my third stay here 1998 2000 and now and I will highly recommend anyone coming to Fairbanks that they check for availability here.

I understand the problem with getting adequate staff but it would’ve been nice to have at least our wastebasket emptied water twice during the four days Andy coffee supply redone. mine we don’t mind making our own beds. we only use the smaller bed but the frame is worn out and collapsed several times so it needs attention.
