Everything. View, beautiful large bedroom. Arrived in the dark to be greeted by a house decorated and lit up for Christmas. It made an excellent first impression. The cooked breakfast was well cooked and a good variety on offer. The shower was good, had the internet available for tv and charging sockets. There was also drafts and chess available to play (outside our room) which we did and the hostess was friendly and helpful.

Could have had a small jug of fresh milk in the fridge, in bedroom (as there was a fridge in the room) for tea and coffees but this is just a little thing we would have liked.

Aberllynfi House is situated on the beautiful River Wye with stunning scenery around. It was a great base for a multitude of activities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive with great attention to the details and information given. The guest house was a beautiful period property with charm, warmth and gentle decor.

The hot breakfasts were unfortunately pre ordered and therefore pre cooked. This breakfast was sadly below par for a establishment of this quality. It will not however not deter us from returning

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, made an effort to adapt breakfast to meet our needs. The house is a fine old building with plenty of historic features-look out for the genuine Victorian toilet! Within easy walking distance of the Harp Inn for a good pint and a pub meal. There's a nice cobble beach just the other side of the river for anyone who enjoys open water swimming.

Nothing. Only drawback for some people might be background noise from the main road.

The breakfast and the location were both excellent. The view from one of the the breakfast room windows looked like a painting by John Constable. Aberllynfi is ideally situated, with beautiful walks in all directions.

Everything was excellent. It's a shame that Tina and Dave are not allowed to erect a sign on the opposite side of the road from their entrance, which would make Aberlynnfi easier to find for visitors coming from the Hay-on-Wye direction.

A beautiful, immaculate guest house overlooking the River Wye. The breakfast was delicious.

At £220 a night, we were charged double for staying there during the Hay Festival. While supply and demand obviously played a part, we thought this was an excessive price. The bed was a little on the small side (more like a three-quarters than a double). We also had to book a specific time for breakfast (e.g. 8.30) - something we had never come across before. This seemed a little inflexible, especially given the price.

I loved the atmosphere and decoration of the house, as if I had flown back to the 18th century. The garden and the view from our window was amazing. Every morning a pair of swans feasted in the garden. The house is very clean, the garden is tidy, the breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. Tina and Dave's hospitality is amazing. It was a special pleasure for me that even on rainy days they were able to organize programs where we felt good. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.

Wonderful B&B set in a beautiful location on the river Wye. The property is a lovely large period house in spacious grounds. The owners are really warm and welcoming and have made every effort for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and the dining room has an incredible view over the river.

Old House with character , overlooks a wide bend on the river with lots of visiting birds and paddling cows lol . Breakfast very good (pre-ordered) and various choices (great toast 😁)our room (4) was big , as was the bathroom . Great hosts , scenic views from the breakfast room .

Some road noise in our room (the road was busy from fairly early on but this may have been due to the Hay Festival), other rooms may have been quieter , wouldn’t stop us returning.

The house and hosts were absolutely lovely. Location is excellent if visiting Hay or if you want to see some excellent views. Property was lovely, homely and clean! Breakfast was absolutely stunning hubby and I were probably very greedy and chose most the options available to have in our room and everything was stunning! Really enjoyed our stay here for my partners birthday.

There is nothing I disliked, the only negative I can find would be the mattress didn't agree with me but that's probably just my preference and that is absolutely picking hairs.

Breakfast, delicious & an excellent choice of menu. Location, perfect. Views overlooking the river Wye with beautiful walks also close to the famous book town Hay on Wye with excellent shops & restaurants.

We have stayed at Aberllynfi quite a number of times & it always meets our expectations,
