What can I say…..The Skreen is absolutely stunning & is in a picturesque location. From the moment we arrived, I knew I had made the perfect choice for my partner’s birthday weekend. The property is set in beautiful surroundings & is everything you could wish for & more. Exceptionally clean & with stunning home decor like something from the Ideal Home magazine, you will not be disappointed. The hosts, Julie & David, are a lovely couple, with a good local knowledge & go the extra mile to make you feel relaxed & at home. We stayed in the Orange King room, which was spacious & the bed was so comfortable, but all the rooms are equally as stunning in their own individual way. David cooks a delicious breakfast too! Highly recommended & we will definitely be returning to this exceptional B&B.

What’s not to like :)

Absolutly outstanding, the level of finish and attention to detail on every level was second to none. The location is breathtaking , Davi and Julie are so welcoming and warm and the property is of the highest level. The breakfast was excellent. If you take the walk up to the view point and look down into the valley it is so worth it. I find it very hard to find fault as my partner and i thought it was superb and look forward to going back.

Only thing i can say is we had a standard double bed and we are used to a king so found that did'nt suit us, but we took last available room which happened to have a double where as other rooms have king size beds. It was very comfortable anyway and a minor point.

Wonderfully, thoughtfully decorated, very large rooms that were comfortable and private. Lots of little extra touches that made it feel so much like a home away from home. Local knowledge about the best place to head for dinner, breakfast was freshly prepared for us, this whole stay was a real delight!

I honestly cannot fault anything from our visit. The only thing was we had a little bit of trouble initially finding the Skreen as it wasn't obvious travelling from the direction that we did where we were heading, Sat nav didn't quite work out the final part, but we rang and were directed in with no issues at all.

Beautiful Setting with amazing, experienced hosts. We were made to feel very welcome here. The room was immaculately clean with premium facilities. We had two early starts, the hosts accommodated early breakfasts for us, which we were very grateful for. David cooked the breakfast to perfection. All ingredients were of a high quality. Small bottles of Welsh water in the room was a nice touch. Close to the Royal Welsh showground, very convenient. Highly responsive to emails and requests

Stunning location with beautiful views. The house was exceptionally presented. The hosts were very friendly and spent time with us. Initially had difficulty finding the Skreen but when we called the host drove out to collect us and lead the way. Great full breakfast with options of cereals, tea and coffee.

No fresh fruit on breakfast buffet like blueberries, for example. Initially difficult to find but the host very kindly came out to find us!

Our room was clean spacious and very well appointed. The breakfast lounge was beautiful and welcoming. Our hosts made every effort to ensure we had a comfortable stay making recommendations for local dining and sightseeing.

Nothing. It was excellent. Finding it was a little tricky but once we had it was easy to get to.

Everything about the property and location was fantastic. The decor was ingenious old and new mixing so cleverly. Our overall impression was bright, light and luxury. We had snacks and wine in the beautiful garden In glorious sunshine. The breakfast was just what you’d expect from this first class property. Julie and David were perfect hosts we can’t recommend this property enough.

No fault whatsoever

This is a most lovely place to stay. Peaceful and very relaxing. The room was very large and so was the bathroom with everything you could want. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

I was surprised that our room was not serviced each day but, as it turned out, I think I preferred that.

Everything! David & Julie were wonderful hosts, giving a warm welcome upon arrival and cooking a great breakfast. Stunning scenic mountain views set in the glorious Welsh countryside - I really couldn’t ask for more.

LOVED EVERYTHING!! The room was exactly like the photo, the bathroom was spaceous and the house was incredible! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was lovely! The owners were amazing, friendly, attentive and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious!!
